Not only was i mislead into thinking it was some great life changing story but it was barely a couple hours long.

It uses a physics engine that was made famous by Half Life in 1998 and doesnt let figure out much of anything. The dang narrator just randomly jumps in and tells you the whole story....

....which is 8th grade diary worthy. Teen forbidden love is not ground breaking stuff.

So what is the game? Im still not sure. An empty house simulator with an audio diary of a whiny high schooler?

i didn't care much for fire emblem on the 3DS, bought it after finishing ni no kuni, not similar at all. didn't much care for gta v either,... shoot me.

i like her shirt, never heard of any of the games tho

I didn't play that many games this year but some of the worst I've played are Warlords and Bioshock: Infinite

Why is Call Of Duty Ghost not on the list? It should rank between 5 - 1.

I can honestly say that 2013 was the most boring year of my gaming history. A steady decline in good re-playable single players since 2012 (and possibly before) has come to a full stop. New gen games are mostly multi player/micro transaction orientated, single player games are dead and multi player games are...I don't know where they will lead to, but they are mostly not for me personally. I can't really recall a game in 2013 that grabbed me like AC2, Batman Asylum, DAO, Witcher1/2, ME 1 or Deus Ex. Still clinging on in hope that the W3 will continue it's successful recipe, small hopes for Thief 4 etc., but I am not holding my breath on the whole.

Aliens:Colonial Marines by far was the worst game of 2013 IMO. Despite being unplayable (Literally) at launch, riddled with bugs, boring, and just really really bad, the worst part was how excited I was to play it, versus how dumbfounded I was after I did that anyone could screw up Aliens that badly. I despise Randy Pitchford and his lies for making (or allowing whoever actually made it) what amounted to a cruel joke out of one of my favorite franchises.

The games that disappointed me the most in 2013:

1. Aliens Colonial Marines - what happened to that Wii U version they hyped? Oh well, never mind I guess...

2. Tomb Raider - "I hate Tombs!" should sum up nicely how I feel about the reboots new cinematic approach.

3. Lost Planet 3 - the most boring movie I ever played.

4. Need for Speed Rivals - 30fps in a Racing Game with NEED FOR SPEED in its title...

5. Bioshock Infinite - Another game that lacks gameplay.

these are by no means the worst games of the year - just the ones I expected a lot more from...

@RoOhDiNi Bioshock, TombRaider, NFS all candidates for worst games of the year? Are you just trying to look hip? I have to laugh at this post. It's a special kind of stupid, even for these parts.

I actually played Aliens: CM and came away mildly amused and happy.

But then, I went into the game with full knowledge of its deficiencies and paid around 25 bucks. So there's that.

Yahtzee's list was better.

Worst game of the year.... Gone Home! It wasn't a game, it wasn't much of anything other than a cheesy teen melodrama, inexplicable reasoning why a teenager would build a sofa fort, why her parents would let her leave it up for months on end and a complete waste of time. I am shocked this game received the scores it did from critics, truly shocked.

@Kristan1711 Sure thing mate, whatever you say. I don't know how many times I need to drill the same thing into your overly thick skull, but I SUGGESTED that you check the review for my opinion, because it was obviously SO IMPORTANT to you in the first place.. and since then you had to make a big song and dance about it, even when I actually gave you what you wanted (which i have already explained once before). In the process have made yourself look like a fool, so the only person who is a pillock is you. And you still didn't explain how I'm a hypocrite, genius.

@Kristan1711 I GAVE you the location to the information of which you required. And then because you were too fucking lazy to read 5 lines, I then pasted it in a comment to make it easier for you. And then i explained that what I had written was basically my exact thoughts on the game. So to say i didn't GIVE you anything is a lie.

When you go to the shops to buy your groceries, do you expect the shop assistants to find it all for you and then put it in a trolley for you and then pay for it at the checkout for you? No. Its the same damn thing here.

@Kristan1711 Yeah you did. You asked for the good. I gave you the good, which was contained in the review. Pretty simple really. If you've changed your mind and that's now for some reason NOT good enough then too bad.

Ride to Hell: "Retribution" is the worst, but got most disappointed with Colonial Marines. Thanks for the vid :)

For the record: While many poopoo the game play TR provided the best S3D experience in gaming 2013 had.

Blacklist was not so bad. Surely not enough to be on this list.

My guess is that other sites can't copy+paste their content when its embedded in their video player so IGN and Gamespot are making even short articles into videos now.
