I wonder when multiplayer is going to come out, i know there is a beta coming soon for xbox, but that's it

I really miss the hardcore games, you know, the games where you have to be really tactical in order to survive, and where every enemy is a challenge. The kind of game where you have a lot variation to the gameplay, and where you can customize a tactic that works the best for you and your buddies. What worries me is that this game looks to be more Gears of War style (not that i dont love Gears), but the kind of "shoot'n kill, easy, tactic-less game" that children play, and not a game that really challenges you, like the first ones. There are made too many of those games today, because the game companies want's to appeal to all gamers out there, but i really wanna go back to the old days of desert storm and GRAW 1. Hardcore games are really a breath of fresh air these days.

Looks really fun, the stealth is interesting (makes me imagine what do the army really have right now)... What I don't get it is ... why would there be a DS version and (apparently) there wont be any for Wii ?? Too bad ... I'm not buying this for PC nor any other console ...

this is NOT realistic! it's just another arcade shooter, you can see how many times the guy gets shot and doesnt even slow down. compare this to the original GR where if you get shot once you are DEAD or if lucky you limp around with an injured leg or your aiming is impacted.. please make more games like the original GR..

I hope this game is good for psp, I'm tired of these stupid spinoffs for Tom Clancy games on the psp. I want something with some actual effort, if you're going to make a spinoff for the psp you'd be better off not making it in the first place.

Tom Clancy's games aim for realism. You can't compare the invisibility cloak in here to the Predator's one from AVP. The invisibility cloak in this game looks the way it does because it's based on what the military is developing over at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and that is Active Camouflage. If you haven't seen the technology then Google "Invisible Tank"... Bottom line is you can't complain that the games Active Camo system doesn't look good just because it's not like the Predators, who by the way have like a billion years more to develop their technologies.

Looks sick, but in the AVP game the active camo looked A LOT better

looks ok, the invisability cloke is a good idea but in this video it looks like they didnt take there time in making it look good. I do plan on playing this to see if its crack up to be.

why do all the games that look amazing have to come out in 2011 or in 3 or 4 months

You forgot to multiply by GoW and divide by Halo (GoW(GR+SC))/Halo = Future soldier

Will I ever see a ghost recon like the ones back in the day? Or am I stuck with combinations of Gears of War and Halo. Bring on the thumbs down.

This has to be one good game, and Tom Clancy's games always been my favorites. I really like the looks of it.

Ghost Recon is going to kill most of the shooting games.

this game looks awesome its a combo of 3rd person and 1st person sweet its rainbow six but reversed this is going to be sweet i dont care what anybody says but rainbow six vegas is the best fps ever created some people didnt like it and i never got why cod is way overated

@RollsRoyce07 you are going to be able to use the cloak in every level and online play though, thats what i was talking bout.

@halobullet, I can agree wit u on a lot of levels of Tom Clancy games but to be honest I never really played the other Ghost Recons, for some reason they never really appealed to me. Yet I can admit T.C set the standards for tactical shooter games alike.. Can't wait for this title tho cuz it looks great.

To the people smack talking this game. The shear amount of battlefield choices and optional ways to reach an objective that this game has to offer, just puts it in a class of its own. Tom Clancy only releases games every so often... meaning that when those games DO come out, they aim to redefine the tactical combat game genre in one way or another. No question in my mind, I'm buying this game. I can guarantee you I will be screaming OMG! When something epically intense goes down in this game.

@holmboy17 the entire game is NOT going to be all with the invisibility coat because once you pull the trigger your cameaflouge suit will no longer be and you can be seen and once the bullets starts raining you no longer annonymus.

looks cool, but it does look kinda easy, if enemies cant see you, how are they supposed to shoot you? i wouldnt mind the game without the invisibility cloak.

@ Creamypuff Yeah, the old school ghost recon was and still is the best they ever made in my opinion, they were so addicting and pretty good balance with simulation.

@ Juguard It doesn't take long to look at the shooter market and see what sells.Games like Socom,Operation Flashpoint and Vegas aren't getting close to the sales the out and out action games are getting.No doubt they actually want to make a healty profit off this.

This looks nothing like the ghost recon I enjoyed back in the day. You know, the one where you actually stay hidden like a GHOST and do RECON

Kind of EA's Army of Two in combination with Ghost Recon. Anyway the result is awsome.

Looks promising. I've played (and beaten) every Ghost Recon game since the original, so I'll definitely play this one. I might just rent it on Gamefly, depending on how much money I'll have and how good this game will be.
