Don't really see the why I should return to GoW according to this video. Sure, the narrative is great, the characters are great and the shooting is great. But apart from the improved graphics, its nothing I haven't seen before. Maybe those new 5 chapters may improve the value of the game but the only reason I might check this Ultimate Edition out is because of nostalgia. But I'm still not forking over $60 for it if I do buy it, not until MS announces plans to bring GoW 2 and GoW 3 in a bundle with this.

P.S I might have been less critical of this Ultimate Edition if they had improved the AI but just as before, your unit and your enemies seem to have ant-sized brains.

@justbefahad: it's $40 and comes with every gears 360 version (digital) for free through backwards compatibility. That's how they are adding 2 & 3 bundled with it, even if they are the old 360 versions. That's value

@Scorptor: I didn't know. Thanks! Its still unfortunate that GoW 2 and GoW 3 won't be remastered, I really don't care for GoW Judgement. I don't think it's a good move by MS to remaster the first and leave the others as they are but I guess we have to be glad we're getting this much anyway.

--gow2 was EASILY one of my top5 favorite games of 7th gen
--and GOW1 was okay
--but i didnt really like GOW3(it was okay~but it wasnt as good as 2)
--i didnt even buy judgement(or play it)
--mainly because it was 'right on the heels' of gow3
--i was surprised GOW didnt go annual(a practice i boycott)

--at this point
--it is obvious xbox is just trying to make xb1 more appealing(to boost sales)
--but
--why dont they just copy their own formula from 7th gen?(instead of raising past successes from the dead?)
--i mean titanfail was a HUGE fail(but 360 had some HUGE fails also)
--what "formula" do i speak of(that xbox used in 7th gen)
--hire some of the most ingenious developers and game makers in the world
--pay them WAY TOO MUCH money
--and let them build the games the are dreaming of

--i have been giving nintendo the same advice for wiiU for years
--it is really not that complicated

--ive owned a xb1 since launch(if you had ANY memory at all youd know that)
--between the Kinect being a TOTAL fail
--the xb1 and its controller being trash(compared to the stellar 360's generation startup)
--and then NONE of xb1's exclusives being worth turd
--I mean
--I don't know what to tell you(to soothe your irrational xb fanboy soul)
--it isn't my fault
--I was pulling for xb1 early
--and I ended up having to go with ps4(I sorta hated ps3)

@nixon45jm: Not really, sure Gears 2 and 3 cleaned up the gameplay, but Gears 1 was one of the first 360 games to feel thoroughly modern.
