Also you're comparing the 360, a system that's MILES ahead of the previous generation, to the Wii U, a generation that's most definitely NOT going to make the same jump or anywhere close.

Dreamfist11 always said this in past articles. The problem was until I called him out on his Naruto lust, he kept aggressing his trolling behavior using profane language at anyone who said "The console was OK", calling them fags, fagboys, dumb fucks, etc, basically troll raging. That is why for HIM in particular, I saw it as nothing more but a fucking joke that he followed Naruto: Ninja Storm.

It isn't until he got demolished with counter intelligence did he take a fucking backseat and is trying to behave like a princess. He brings nothing to a debate and jumps on anyone's back who counter's Nintendo, if it be with facts, or them trolling with zero evidence.

You do seem logical though. I didn't know anything about PS3's Europe sales, which is pretty awesome. I want nothing but greatness for the PS4, getting Platinum in Uncharted 1 and 2, and God of War 3. Their first party titles have such heart in them, and I can never look away.

I like Naruto games aswell, they are nice fighting games to play online and with buddies. That has nothing to do with the fact that our arguments are correct, reason why he didn't even touch my reply. It also proves that he is minimally racional, and had the intelligence not to argue. Let's just hope he figures out alone that turning the discussion into "you like (insert game name)" stuff is just stupid and will take away all his credibility.

Just to make it more clear, the PS3 sold about 600k consoles in 48 hours in Europe.

@alrepairs It is curioes that in those facts, you can clearly see the correlation between the price and the sales. Thanks for supporting my argument. I would also like to add, that the PS3 sales did not include the European sales, it's biggest market, which only had access to the console in '07.

Indeed, and I cannot understand nor can I take anyone seriously who suggests that Nintendo should follow the example of Sony and Microsoft. Granted there are some "standards" that they placed that Nintendo should follow but they've remained relevant for this long and continued to be a leading figure in the gaming industry BECAUSE they've done things at their own pace.

Sure it may seem stubborn and stupid at times but in this industry, trying to be like the others or trying to keep up with them is a sure fire way to lose money and make yourself lose your identity. Just look at what happened to many franchises that developers tried to make more mainstream just because "everyone's doing it", many of them have since gone down in quality, turning the industry into one big cluster f*ck of generic games, instead of the sprawling diversity we used to see before this generation.

Exactly. If Nintendo had released a $500 next generation console in 2012, 3 things would have happened:

1) They would have lost a ton of $ on each console sold, following the footsteps of Sony, except when Sony used this strategy with PS3, they were many times larger than Nintendo. Nintendo would have never been able to afford using this tactic.

2) Even if they included high end hardware, by nature of how technology works, MS and Sony would have released even faster consoles in 12 months from November 2012. Then Nintendo would have nothing unique since GamePad wouldn't be a feature due to the main focus being on graphics.

3) Even with powerful hardware, who says 3rd parties would have made games for the Wii U anyway? A lot of them already said they are skipping Wii U since they never had the budget, resources or enough time to port games to the Wii U. If the Wii U cost $500 out of the gate and was an uber powerful next gen consoles, it would have sold even less units, which means that 3rd parties would still rather make games for 140 million PS3/360 install base.

Nintendo isn't focusing on only core gamers. They stand-out through innovating how we play games. Because of that they take risks. With that approach, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

Indeed and while it some of Nintendo's decisions may seem stupid to "gamers" in the eyes of developers and other businesses, they're being smart and doing what they can to ensure they remain relevant and strong in the industry, so it's going to take more than a few thousand ignorant gamers to destroy the reputation of Nintendo.
