Bethesda says it will make 'considerably more noise' in 2013

Todd Howard was very proud of how long they were able to keep Skyrim under wraps; he preferred that to a slow drip of things year after year. If they follow that pattern, this is about the window for a Fallout 4 announcement. It also means if they have their way you won't see a single thing about a follow-up to Skyrim for at least two more years.

hope they mean adding a quality dlc to skyrim if only they add cyrodil and morrowind in the next game ill be very happy, and if they wanna make another elder scroll this year ill say its just too fast but if they are saying about: new vegas 2 or fallout 4 well thats maybe make this year have more game of the year candidate

Holy crap, in another 7 months, Skyrim will be 2 years old from launch :O

FALLOUT 4

It has been almost 5 years since Fallout 3. So it's definitely time to at least announce #4. It's gotta be inevitable that it's coming.

Fallout 4?.... why not go back to the writers and team that made Fallout such a good game and made Fallout 3 successful - (but which most of us feel had lots of room for improvement..) Wasteland 2, Project Eternity, Torment Tides .... lots of upcoming games with probably better content and writing than Fallout 3 or Skyrim - but different play style - Haven't heard anything good about Elder Warcraft Scrolls of the World....- its online MMOG....yeaah.... hopefully sarcasm noted

Fallout 4, next gen, let's go!

Great another boring RPG without a story horrible combat and the most annoying fps camera.I don't deny that it is a god game franchise and it deserves most of it's success but after Far Cry 3 or Dark Souls The Witcher there is literally no excuse for another sequel that plays and feels like Morowind.

I hope those passionate teams include actual experienced writers. There's just only so much one can take in that department before your eyes finally manage to roll off your head.

In addition to my previous, I also would like to see Fallout 4, but with more characterisation options, a survivalist leaning i.e. having to scrounge items in the world to be able to survive, possibly a housing element like the Hearth fire dlc in Skyrim. More clothing options, weapon options, weapon construction elements, a wider creature dynamic in mobs. And here is a controversial idea for any new IP being discussed or developed, Fallout Online which has been mooted for so long. Well they are doing it with ESO so why not.

This is how it works: Tes game, 2-3 years later Fallout game and then after another 2-3 years Tes game and so on.. I can appreciate that pattern and i hope they stick to it!

Fallout 3 was one of the best games of all time next to Oblivion/Skyrim.

Well i think it will be a Fallout 4 announcement and if it is maybe it will mean that Bethesda will follow the pattern Fallout then Elder Scrolls then fallout again etc, it would make sense i mean why make a new TES so soon? that way it feels more fresh i think. I for once can't wait for a new Fallout 4 i hope they do some major new stuff maybe a new engine? i mean unless they plan to make a new fallout then start working on the next gen stuff i don't know.

Most likely Fallout 4, I'd imagine. Too early for a new scrolls, and more on scrolls online wouldn't be big news.

The Elder Scrolls Online is the stupidest idea possible in 2013, Elder Scrolls is probably dead as a good video game series after Skyrim. Dishonored was good but a fuckload of content was cut from it, which is shameful.

Fallout 4? I'd rather Obsidian just take over. I don't want casualized bullshit, I want a proper RPG. That's what Fallout was and it shouldn't be Bethesdas right to just disregard what it started as. Fallout 3 was decent but **** it's FALLOUT it's supposed to be so much more then just "Bethesda's Post-Apocalyptic Game".

The gamers of tomorrow are going to eat all the gaming industries corporate shit and it makes me so sad.

And before you go BUT BUT SKYRIM WAS GOOD IT GOT GREAT REVIEWS etc. The entire industry works together to make more money. If reviewers genuinely reviewed games no AAA games would sell well and obviously we can't have that because of how expensive those games are to make. Instead of focusing so much on "expanding technology" they have to bring costs down. We're somehow expanding way too fast compared to the 80's/90's.

Fallout 4 at e3 for sure and I can't wait dammit.

Would be great to see Fallout 4 get announced. I just hope Bethesda don't let Obsidian ANYWHERE NEAR IT. They had some good ideas & features, but considering how broken New Vegas was on release, the fact that it took nearly a year to fix and the fact that many bugs are still not fixed should be enough reason for Bethesda to make it themselves. I'm also wondering if TES: Online will be announced for the next-gen consoles. Now that would be something.

I'm still praying for Prey 2.
