Dead Space 3 Awakened DLC revealed

@queuing_for_PS4 The PC has far more quality PC only titles than any console has or ever will have.

You would think these morons would at least wait longer than 24hrs to announce they screwed them yet again.

Not that we don't know how they play the game already.

And this is why I don't buy EA games anymore.

After doing some much research into why EA are such gigantic assholes, I've decided to buy this game two years from now, when it's featured in one of Steam's daily deals. Also, go **** yourself, EA.

So EA know that we love the horror in Dead Space, so what do they do? strip it out and sell it as DLC.

I like how CDProjectRED has done their DLC. All patches and fixes completely FREE to their PC consumers, and when they did add a large chunks to The Witcher 2, they not only released the game to a new platform with the new content in tact and kept it at the same price, but they also let those who have the PC version of the game, download the update COMPLETELY FREE. This is how you build trust with your consumers and create a loyal fanbase. Not by adding microtransaction into the game, and having BS DLC (weapon and resource packs) at a ridiculous price and overall just shafting them unless they fork over more cash.

I'll wait until the game is finished, sounds like they are still working on it. Maybe next year.

Hmm...do I want to be rich and successful, or fair and popular? I think I'll go the EA way and con old people for money to invest in the arms trade. Let's not forget the EA motto: People keep buying, We'll keep selling.

"Disturbing" Yeah...charging for something that should have been in the game in the first place. Very apt word: "Disturbing".

I'm in no way sticking up for ea by any means, but they aren't the only company doing this. I love Gearbox and Borderlands 2, but their first DLC was out in less than a month. It happens all of the time, but ea doesn't do itself any favors by pumping out so much of it as fast as it does.

At the same time, you do not have to purchase any of it so speak with your wallet as it's the only thing that will show them how you feel. The other problem is (not saying that's what it is in this case) is that games have to go through a long approval process before they can get released so in some cases, the teams just continue working and instead of delaying the game any further they sell the new stuff as DLC.

I don't know, I just wish they would delay announcements like this for a bit to let people get into the game without having to then just get it and worry what's in the DLC right off the bat.

Should have been there in the first place. This is just exploiting fans.

Love the way Gamespot praises itself, not to mention that the ad for the game on the homepage contains a quote from Gamespot review....the world never ceases to amaze me!

This should be included with the game. You don't put your darkest chapters pre-planned as DLC.
