Konami promotes Kojima

I think the MGS series is great and all and I am a fan, but I feel like Kojima's head is faaaaaaar up his own a$$. Whats up with the way he takes pictures like hes always deep in thought and so noble? I've read interviews where he comes off as really arrogant too.

@NeonNinja Of course is a genius, just at games. You don't compare Kojima with Einstein. They're in two different matters. @everybody saying that Kojima should be the "Boss" of Konami (or even all PS3 games) You're right. But... If he were to be in such "control" of games, then he wouldn't had time to make them great. It's to much responsability. Sure he would have a lot of staff, but still, it's to much. I say, let him stay where he is. At least for now.

@XanderZane If you actually read that wiki article that you posted, you would know that Shigeru Miyamoto has ALREADY won the award previously in 2007. Miyamoto and Kojima are both revolutionary people in the gaming industry, and both of them deserve their awards. edit: Smo17 beat me to it, lol.

How many times have you seen grand theft auto or bioshock come about? or even halo 3? take it easy fan boy, all systems are good, just dont be jealous when you cant play all the good games that are our there ok? we dont wanna hear it

The never ending praising of gamespot for a single game that you should have a special machine to play it on. Anyone else is catching product promotion here? How many NEWS have you posted for MGS4?. Personally I could care less and I won't buy a PS3 to just play a game.

The star of a legend shines even brighter, but Kojima never needed a fancy title to prove he was one of the best...and still is after all of these years. Congrats and thank you for the dedication, hard work, and demand for perfection.

They've just could give him the title of "The Big Boss, Entire Universe".

It could be the title change was necessitated either: 1. A title is commensurate with slaray. His title may have changed to justify a significant increase in salary. This is common at many organizations. 2. His peers may be at the executive level. Having an improved title may be a signal from management that he ought to be present at executive-level meetings to determine the broader strategy for Konami.

best of the best, he deserves better than what they give him, he made one of the greatest games in history, and the franchise sold 28 million copies worldwide!

every thing Kojima makes is a masterpiece imo 2 of his series are in my top 10 games of all time.....purely because i love them for so many reasons mainly story and the core gameplay elements. Kojima is more than deserving purely because of his creativity and the impact on the games industry...He did pretty much punt stealth action to the forefront of the mainstream with MGS and literally is the godfather of that genre. I wish i could be as creative as him...but im not anyway all i can say is congrats.

People play games for different reasons. Stories are a big part of why I love gaming. The MGS seriese one of the best stories I have ever experienced. There were a lot of good stories in gaming but this one was something special. Congrats Kojima!
