No Far Cry 3 on Wii U

Here's what's going on with Nintendo and their wiiu.They release a new console but spec capabilities that should be release 6 years ago.

Ad to that the fact the "new" console isn't even better of what popular consoles are capable today but even inferior.So this Nintendo guys do expect the companies to lowered a product quality just to this guys can have a game in their 6 yearls old hardware at the same level as the already present hardaware?That's no fair to all who already have a console and average pc.Just say NO to crapware.

Hopefully it will work its way over in the future. I'd much rather buy the "complete edition" on Wii U.

p.s. I know I keep saying that a lot recently but you must admit, Wii U does seem to be getting the directors cut version of a good few games now.

I think third parties are still testing the water with Wii U. Very wise of them from a business perspective. However, turning the Wii U tablet into a Pip Boy on Fallout would have been very cool.

These reports of games "skipping" the Wii U are severely misleading. A lot of people have no idea how game development works. Picture a project that takes a hundred people two years to complete, that even till the last possible day, they are working out bugs and glitches on two (or three) completely different systems. Then half way through the development, they are given the chance to program for an additional system that they have never developed for.

Most of these projects are passed not because of the hardware but simply because they don't have the time or budget to go back to the beginning and port the game over before launch, as to do this would take away vital development resources from the versions currently in progress.

The simplest answer is to finish the current development and THEN take a look at porting them (which they may or may not do). Or they may simply wait till their next game (i.e. Far Cry 4) and develop for all the consoles from the ground up.

Developers seem to have a hard enough time simply working with X360 and PS3 (see: Skyrim). Adding another console to development is not as simple as copy/paste.

LOLOL Every week some new Dev says no support for WiiU WiiU, and every week nintendo fanboys say " Oh well I didn't want that game anyway" ROFL whatever stops the tears fanboys, whatever stops the tears. Keep using that excuse to make yourselves feel better that your not getting some pretty awesome games like skyrim or fallout or farcry and MANY MANY more

Geez, every time I see something mentioning the Wii U. My thoughts go to that girl on Kung Pow Enter the Fist. Wii U, Wii U, Wiiii.

If you're calling Far Cry games AAA titles, I don't think AAA title means what you think it means. I mean, they're not terrible or anything, but they're certainly not anywhere the near the quality level, in any aspect, of actual AAA games.

The console will succeed. And anyone glooming it to death everyday here are not only wasting their time, but could be elsewhere doing something productive with their lives, making those around them proud.

I could think of TWO reasons why Nintendo doesn't want Farcry 3 on the Wii-U. wanna know them look at the game E3 demo.

All the developers giving the Wii-U a bad rep are GIMPS.

Why not just say "we can't do anything creative or worthwhile unless its a rehash of our previous games with the same controls"

Far Cry 2, Crysis and Crysis 2 are epic fails. Capcoms last decent game was Resident Evil 4. RE5 was crap and 6 will be even worse.

Glad to hear these washed up devs not spamming all the consoles with their overated, FFF games.

i will be getting the wiiu but only for the nintendo games... stuff like cod etc or anything 3rd party will be better visually on ps3/360

Does not surprise me, then again, I'm not a big Far Cry person...and as for RE6, that version will probably come out...IF Capcum changed their mind alongside the PC version...

Wii U can have Far Cry 3 for all I'm concerned. All Far Cry games after the original sucked. So bad, in fact, that I couldn't tolerate playing them for more than a half hour total. The original was great, but everything after was more of the same. Hopefully FC3 revitalizes the series, but if past games are any indication, I wouldn't get my hopes up for anything good.
