I can actually try and have a good argument with you, yes ill agree in SOME ways its more powerful, but in OTHER areas its not. I mean if it wasn't more powerful in some areas that would be really embarrasing considering its practically a 2013 console

The PS3 is still at $250 and is a 6 year old system, that's hardly less than what the Wii U is priced at, a brand new system with much more powerful hardware. Of course the PS3/360 have a much larger selection of games, they've been out for a long time, it's like saying it's not worth getting a PS3 in the beginning because the PS2 has a much larger selection of titles.

Yes RE 6 and Dead Space 3 aren't coming, but Capcom has already confirmed Monster Hunter Ultimate for the Wii U/3DS along with telling us that they're currently working on more Wii U titles. EA has stated their support but is doing a wait and see approach first.

I have nothing against being critical against Nintendo, I recognize that they've made their mistakes, but I also recognize that they also do their best to fix it also.

I only really respond to ignorant comments that really have little to no basis just because people look at what's on the surface and automatically make inaccurate judgments.

Also i don't see how my responses are apologetic, I'm merely presenting information that counters the statements others are making.

I will admit that I do spend a lot of time on here, currently waiting for my new job to start me so until then, I have way too much free time on my hands >.<

@uncle5555 @abHS4L88 its kinda why I watch and wait never a day 1 buyer. 6 months to a year later maybe. These days some 3rd party devs have been putting money over game quality.It would not hurt Nintendo monitor things and make sure the game library for their systems isn't grossly unbalanced

Just out of curiosity, everytime I read comments about Nintendo you're on here as official president of the Nintendo apology force coming up with the same old argument over and over.

So my question is this? Do you practice all of these apologistic Nintendo defenses in the mirror before you come on here?

People have every right to be critical of Nintendo and should be because of that very past history and exp. that you bring up, are they the Nintendo of the late 80's and 90's no they are not, that's one thing you and the Nintendo Defense Force need to wake up too.

I've supported them since 1989, but not blindly so and not without questioning what they are doing it, and especially not being critical of what I believe are their missteps along the way and letting them have carte blanche when it comes to putting their money where their mouths are, and neither should you but until you realize that I will unfortunately have to continually read the same thing from you over and over...(maybe I just need to skip on by when I see that Kirby avatar on my screen) ;-)

If the Wii U is the most popular platform, it's likely to happen again, although I don't think it'll be anywhere near as bad since HD games are far more expensive to make and as long as there's a lot of quality games to hide all the crap in.

Oh yes, one console's performance is totally how you should judge a company that's been making videogames for nearly 3 decades on. Ubisoft also published No More Heroes 1 & 2 and Red Steel 1 & 2 for the Wii.

Never do anything hardcore? Only blind "hardcore" gamers would say that since nearly all of Nintendo's biggest franchises can only be considered hardcore games since they either require a great deal of skill, time, strategy, or intellect to beat.

Despite all that, now with the Wii U, they're publishing Bayonetta 2 and working with Team Ninja to turn Ninja Gaiden 3 into the game it was originally supposed to be. But I guess that's not enough for you guys, you expect them to be exactly like Sony even though *News Flash* they don't have as many resources or means of income as Sony does.

My only wish is that Nintendo don't let third party devs put so much shovelware on wii u cuz those guys just wanna make a quick buck they don't care at all

I know about Xenoblade, but a lot of people still don't associate Nintendo with that franchise yet despite it being 1st party. I'm hoping for a sequel since Xenoblade is one of my favorite RPGs of this generation. I did read that Monolithsoft is currently working on a Wii U title so I'm excited to see what it is.

Miyamoto did state interest into bringing the series back and since they do have good relations with Platinum Games, the director says he would love to make a Star Fox game so you hear that Nintendo!!!!

@dreamfist11 @Joeguy00 one I'm not boy and two devs haven't divulged anything specific as they do not have the right to. sure some devs are disappointed but opinions of the wii u's CPU vary. And yes I do recall some devs being disappointed but that was hella long time ago. And I don't need to be hearing words like fanboy from narrow minded ppl who immediately dismiss something due to the past performance of its predecessor without having not even five minutes experience with the new console. Yes I am a nintendo but no I do not jump on everything nintendo says or makes. I like they're games but even I can say some of their games are unpolished shit or that they assume ppl want these games. Like Mario Party and all the Mario sports spinoffs those games are pure steaming shit. I am a multibrand gamer I can see some of the pros and cons to each console. Like the PS3 its a great console has games I like but Sony's consoles have fragile parts in em. Moneysoft need I say more.

The CPU is hardly weaker than that found in the PS3/360, but that's the only thing inferior, everything else found in the Wii U's hardware easily trumps the PS3/360 and is capable of standing up to whatever Sony and Microsoft put out next.
