PS4's PS Plus Free Games Of January Still Available

@Terminator95: It's odd there is so much talk lately about PS5 though as based on sales they won't be in any hurry. Personally i prefer the Xbox one X . I have a Pro as well but it doesn't even come close graphically to the X . Just playing Elite Dangerous in 4k on the X is streets ahead of the 1080p version on the Pro which i do have as well.

I guess it depends what you prefer playing but personally i have barely touched the Pro since the X was released.

Just based on the games i like to play the X just does it better, I did enjoy Nioh the most on PS4 Pro and i think that was cruelly disregarded by too many people for being a Dark Souls clone.

It is easily one of the best games on the PS4 bar none.

Another stunner is Assassins Creed Origins, it looked good on the Pro but it looks incredible on the X and even better after the latest patch to increase textures and draw distance to even better levels due to the increased memory on offer.

Hitman is another one that just looks significantly better in 4k on the X compared to the Pro

Sure the PS4 pro has exclusives but personally i couldn't get into most of them anyway including Horizon Zero Dawn. It just never grabbed me.

In any case it is great to see consoles starting to reach PC like levels of graphical fidelity in key areas such as resolution.

The Pro on the other hand is really best suited to native 1440p though the checkerboard rending approach does work well in alot of games i'm not really a fan due to the cross hatch effect that is almost always present in things like running water in environments and other small detailed objects such as overhanging wires etc.

@CyberEarth: IF you want to play online then you have to pay for PS Plus. Now here are some games that you didn't have to pay for as a reward for paying for to play online.

@livedreamplay: Agree on the visual novel sentiment though a bit over Batman for a lifetime really lol. I would have preferred Guardians of the Galaxy.

@livedreamplay: You are right, solid games. I just don't like the hype and derivative repetitive nature of Tell Tale making the same style and visuals of games since The Walking Dead. Tales of Monkey Island was awesome back in the day, The Walking Dead Season 1 I played and liked - and I kinda liked Wolves Among Us. It's just too much and I don't feel like these games.

Don't understand why they didn't give us the Japanese visual novel game with these nice looking cutscenes to the PS4 - guess it's not interchangeable/compatible..

Deux Ex MD is a big game. It has PS4 PRO support from what I hear which is already good.

I just have a Gaming PC as well as a PS4 PRO and I thought about getting DXMD eventually because it constantly gets big time sales and because I would be able to run it at higher resolution, settings and fps.

So I wish they released PS4 exclusives or something like that.

DXMD is 85% off now on Steam.

Wish they gave us something more unique though. Maybe a good Fighter Game like GG XRD Rev 2 or something.

@livedreamplay: The movies I get on Netflix are just as free as the games you get with your PS Plus subscription. All you've done is word play the exact same thing I just said.
