Sega to Fans: "Help Us Make Our Games Better"

Took the survey and there were way to many questions about mobile in it. Looks like they will focus more on mobiles -.-'

They didn't even list Valkyria Chronicles under "Sega games you remember playing", just wow.

Take the survey and blast mobile games or this company is completely lost with some good franchises ruined in the future.

A new Daytona or Scud racer. It MUST have highly competitive ganeolay and an advanced drifting system like in Daytona 1, 2 and Scud race but preferably without NASCAR's but with race cars like in Scud. Online 16 players with same netcode as Daytona psn/xbl.

They only need to do 2 things.

1.) Realize their biggest fan-base is people who were kids IN THE 90s, not children now.
2.) USE their extensive list of properties. Vectorman, Comix Zone, Jet Set Radio, Streets of Rage, Alex Kidd, the list goes on and on.

Their insistance on pandering to children is what is killing them, they were awesome in the 90s because compared to Nintendo, a Sega Genesis was the console for more mature/older kids.

I would love a new kid chameleon game, but not in the form of a mobile microtrans f**K fest P2W game.

SEGA .. Creates a survey so people can provide feedback .. Morons .. Ignore survey and post on GS about what they want from SEGA ... Tip .. Go tell SEGA !!!!

The way the survey was organized made it seem like they were assessing your interest in older titles to try to bring some of that classic gaming feel to phones and tablets.

The whole latter part of the survey did not instill confidence in me at all.

Honestly....I doubt if SEGA will ever learn from their mistakes. I did the survey but something tells me that it really wasn't worth having that survey done.

Srsly what's with all the mobile crap in the 2nd half of the sruvey?

Focus on mobile gaming and sell console rights to Sony, done.

Do they seriously not understand?

1. 3D Sonic will never work. Not now, not ten years from now.

2. Lazy ports equals crap quality.

3. Localize your damn games. Still waiting on Valkyria Chronicles 3.

Let's hope they will listen to people and kill off new sonic characters and gameplay and return to Generations,colors combo. as for overall they need new ip, total war series ,football manager is not enough.

You know what we need from Sega? A new Shinobi game. Forget Devil May Cry or Bayonetta or Ninja Gaiden, I want me some Shinobi action. Do it Sega!

Sonic could be more like Zelda crossed with SA 1-2 with bigger maps, aster loops don't forget that SOnic games in 3D are bascily driving/crash into things games, Shining Force crossed with Warcraft( RTS with turn based mode and normal RPG exploring of towns and some areas), Phantsy Star mix FF12 with Warcraft and Dragon Age Origins on PC real time gameplay, IE I can place members where I want on a map, magic is based on range and radius of area of effect, only a few spells and most summons hit everything around the party(kinda like some of the older game arts games like Lunar on the Sega CD tho it did have a few spells that could hit everything).

I pretty much told them bring back Three Dirty Dwarves, Panzer Dragoon, Vectorman, Comix Zone, Streets of Rage, After Burner, Virtua Fighter, good, 2D Sonic games, make another HOTD Overkill, and stop wasting time with mobile games.

I hate how they assume I have a mobile phone or tablet. I'm broke. Even if I had the money for that stuff, I'd spend it on something worthwhile like a graphics card or camcorder. I HATE touch screens.

It doesn't take a survey to find out what consumers are saying about your brand. Either you're willing to listen to what your fans are saying, or you're not. It isn't hard to find the places where gamers vent their frustrations. Read what they say and act on it instead of releasing pointless surveys. If you don't already know what your customers want after all this time, why should anyone take you seriously now?

Hmmm... Did their little survey and noticed that about 80% of it was focused on mobile games. <sarcasm>That's a great way to make a comeback to making quality games right there SEGA. Go Mobile; right on!</sarcasm>

These guys are the reason I've basically given up on 2 IPs that I've enjoyed a lot in the past: the Total War series, and anything Warhammer. Their games are just DLC placeholders now and most are not even that good.

Let Nintendo buy Sega and your games will be great again.

I took the survey as well. I wish for SEGA to make a strong comeback, but I just don't see it.

Took the survey. I hope they can come back to their former glory. The Sega Genesis was one of my favorite consoles, I'm a fan of the Yakuza series and I've enjoyed mashing buttons in Virtua Fighter once in a while.

And all those who want Nintendo to give up their hardware business and go iPhone/Android only. Remember Sega...

What the... Open World Games does not include Skyrim, which is listed as a role playing game!? And strategy games aren't even listed?? From the folks that gave us the Total War games and Valkyria Chronicles!?

More Phantasy Star and stop tying to take Sonic into 3D. I think the last Sonic game I enjoyed was Generations and that was for all the 2D sections you could do..

Phantasy Star.. 1. They should bring PSO2 west and 2. They need to start making single player versions again.

Here's what I'd love to see from them

1.) Sonic Generations 2

2.) Aliens vs. Predator 2 (with all DLC completely free)

3.) Make sure Shenmue III is available on all main platforms (PC, Xbox One, PS4, NX)

4.) Release the original two Shenmue games

5.) Resurrect "The Conduit" franchise (and make it either multiplatform and bring back the old games, or bring it to NX)

6.) Make something new that they have fun making.

just give us Dreamcast 2 already

Of course i took this survey. Letting them know just how many Sega made games were great. Shinobi? Space chan 5? Panzer Dragoon? Astal? BUG!?, Clockwork Knight? Etc. There was quite a list for me to write. I love how they asked me why do I not play mobile gaming. Well, hopefully there are enough responses to let them know just how out of touch they are these days.
