Fans to Sega: "Pay us."

How about out of touch with gaming?

Really not hard for Sega to get back in gamers good graces:

1- release PSO2 in the west

2-new Virtua Fighter

3-Unless it's a port of older Sonic games, no more Sonic games

4-start using their library of other IPs

I took the survey. I basically told them the truth and how I love their Genesis games, and how I'm a huge fan of Kid Chameleon and how they should make a new Kid Chameleon because that could be an awesome modern platformer if they put any thought into it.

It was weird when the questions became about mobile games. I just don't care about mobile games that much.

They have a huge back catalog of games. They need to grow some balls, pull one out (or make an entirely new one), and make a game no one has seen before. Or jump on the current "bring back platformers" band wagon and bring on a bad ass new platformer that people can enjoy. Anything, but this rut of endless boring mobile games, re-releases of classics that I already own everywhere, another Sonic game, or poor RTS' (that I think do well despite themselves).

Of course they also need to code it well, and that has never been a Sega strong suit. At least ever since 3D gaming has started. A well controlling platformer that does some fun stuff can go a long way for them if they actually tried instead of rehashing Sonic over and over and over again.

It's worth to answer the survey just to bash their mobile plans.

My god, i checked android in the platform options and half the survey became about it.

Sega is slowly diverting into crack whore status. This is just sad.

We need a new NIGHTS game imo.

This survey won't work because their market of 12 year old girls don't fill out surveys. Unless it is a fashion app/website and those are usually 20 questions max.

And the casual facebook games are simple and quick. They do not mix well with long winded surveys.

The results will give a false image of the market. It will show angry men in their 40's. But actually a more viable market is probably girls.

They should focus entirely on kids and girl gamers. Make the games very basic and easy to play. Than sell it for phones and facebook.

Sega has now been reduced to begging people to like them, sad. Make a Total War game that isn't half broken then we'll talk.

Don't care if everyone hates Sega, I wish them all the best. I know they can do good things and maybe they're starting to improve. I want you to become cool again, Sega. Please, don't blow up my trust

Want help with sonic? Find interesting and vary ways to make sonic go fast. Tails,knuckles etc need not apply. No one wants to play a stage with Tails stage with him in a boring mech, just no. Stop slowing down Sonic games, that not why people love them. If you feel the need to add more characters just do via expansions, leave the core game to sonic, the one everyone wants to play as.

and STOP WITH THE K-POP!!! No one likes or wants the damn K-pop. Sonic games best music comes from his genesis days. Take a hint.

Also GIVE LOVE TO YOUR OTHER FRANCHISES.

A proper Phantasy Star game would be awesome..... just saying.

Playing ToeJam & Earl, Vectorman, Echo the Dolphin, Michael Jackson's Moonwalker on the Genesis. Those were the days.

Sonic's been SEGA's bitch for too long and now are we to believe that they have no idea why their games started to hit bottom? Until Sonic Adventure everything was fine, maybe not perfect but still consistent. Then, from Sonic Heroes to Sonic whatever we saw nothing but an endless freak show of experimental and crappy ideas thrown around, like Sonic had turned into a guinnea pig instead of being a hedgehog. The same happened to Phantasy Star, Shinobi ad many others...

Free Sonic out of his misery, SEGA! Kill him or develop a proper game.

Sega, once a legendary brand that dominated half of the gaming market, being described as "the Japanese publisher of Sonic and Total War" is by far the saddest thing I've seen today.

They've got my feedback....they haven't listened to Sega fans for so many years, this makes me think they're actually starting.

Clearly their wallets are taking a hit.

"Please provide your input in this survey! We really want to improve our games and we would like to hear your opinions."

WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED:

Marketing Exec.A: "F**k these AAA gamers! They don't spend any money. We should do what Konami did and go all mobile. That's where the real money is."

Marketing Exec.B: "Is that wise, sir? Our classic franchises still earn some money, so we know there are still fans of SEGA out there and they all grew up gaming on consoles. We don't know for sure if they are gaming on mobiles."

Marketing Exec.A: "Hmm...good point. I know! Let's release a survey! Ask them for their input. If enough of them choose mobiles as their gaming platform, then we'll know!"

Marketing Exec.C: "Or maybe we can try rehiring all that great talent we once had now working in the indie space, or even find new people with proven track records. Maybe even release some of those great games that we restrict to the Japanese market? That's what killed us on the Saturn."

Marketing Exec.B: "One day we should take that C-guy out of that sound proof booth. I've been watching his lips move soundlessly for decades. He might have a few good ideas."

Stop turning Sonic games into crappy anime stories, and stop flooding it with countless dumb animal characters. Just make a Sonic game about fast platforming, and take time to polish it into something good.

They want to go mobile all the way. What a waste.

Cut more content from your games and offer it as a pre-order incentive... Oh wait... Rome 2 was the last thing with sega attached to it that i bought. And i will not buy anything in the future with sega name on it.

1) I would say release new and sequels to Skies of Arcadia, Panzer Dragoon jesus they wouldn't even do Shenmue 3 and look at that get it's kickstarter funding

2) Re-release Skies Of Arcadia on PSN, XBLA, STEAM

3) And sack the currently people at the top of the company because they've done nothing but destroy SEGA within side

If they want trust back they need to keep putting forward quality tittles like Alien Isolation. Canning the sequel to the best game they've published in years (before it even took off) was a really stupid move, even for Sega

They still make some good games problem is they don't bother releasing them outside of Japan, the last time anyone got a Phantasy Star game that wasn't just some rerelease was Phantasy Star Portable 2.

You want help.... my advice to you sega is to let nintendo make the next sonic game for ya.

It has probably been said already but some of their better games slip through the cracks because not many people knew they existed. A better advertising campaign couldn't hurt.

Dear Sega my Love. I will always care for you but I've moved on. We just wanted different things out of this relationship. It's totally me, not you. We sure had some great times didn't we?

At least they're doing something about it. Crapcom should do the same, their games are pathetic.

I also liked PSU, but binary domain was probably their best original output.

but if they want to get back into people's good graces, we want more of those rpgs in the US, shining force, phantasy star, and if you are going to put out remasters or rereleases, how about the classics like Panzer dragoon saga.

I think Binary Domain is the only game in over decade I actual enjoyed, have not tried the new alien isolation so cant comment on that

3 words describing Sega "False, Misleading and Outdated". I very much remember the Aliens Colonial Mrines debacle and the constant misleading and crap performance of the Total War games.

I don't think there's any hope for SEGA at this stage.
