@draganot: You missed the horrendous load times and the god awful inventory management. The Witcher 3 has arguably the worst inventory UI ever made in the history of gaming.

@draganot: There IS a real-life gwent set. there's a video on this site showing danny unpack it. it was part of the special edition of the 1st expansion if i'm correct.

Towards your points i can only say i had more fun with the Witcher than i have with fallout, haven't finished the latter though. The Witcher came at exactly the right time. I just had my 1st burn-out on bloodborne and a game so rich of story was exactly what i needed after bloodborne, which is completely focused on the gameplay and has a story that is mostly founded on rumors based on item descriptions. Gameplaywise the Witcher had nothing on bloodborne, but at that moment (after playing bloodborne for 3 months straight) it was perfect to just have some cutscenes and dialogue options.

I enjoy fallout too, but the story doesn't drive me forward at all. Since resident evil 0 came out i haven't touched it at all. I'm still gonna finish it and i definitely have fun with it but there's little excitement compared to bloodborne or the witcher.

Lastly, what i very much appreciate about both games (or all 3 inc. bloodborne) is that you have to craft your own character by focussing on the aspects you want to, which makes me care about them way more (e.g. MY geralt) than i care about, say crane from dying light who eventually becomes the very same character all players play, because you'll just unlock all possible skills with him.

@draganot: "Most of the flaws are pretty minor" this just in a god awful story, repetitive fetch quests, clunky animations, bugs, 2010 graphics, bad voice acting is considered "minor" by Bethesda fanboys. Flopout is easy, all you do is run up to someone and spam the same button. You're a fucking idiot.

@draganot: Well said and your points are pretty much spot on although I found the story and quests in Fallout 4 better than The Witcher 3, I really enjoyed playing through the story in F4. The Bloody Baron was the most memorable one for me in W3 but that doesn't make the whole game, far too repetitive in its writing for its sub quests from repetitive NPCs and the main story in W3 was borderline asinine at times. The ugliest man alive and the druids, please!

@notchedbandit: Errr? And what makes u say you couldn't explore in The Witcher 3? I explored a lot of the places of The Witcher 3 before even continuing the main quest. The main quest is always kind of linear. Also "some side activities"?? I have never seen so many interesting side quests as I have in The Witcher 3 compared to those Fallout 4 side quests were boring and repetitive. Talking about copy-paste Fallout 4 copied a lot from New Vegas.... I have to agree that the combat Fallout was better than The Witcher 3 though.

@razecah12: Flying your Witcher 3 fanboy flag everywhere doesn't make it a good game. He is correct, the combat is dull and repetitive, the quests are also dull and repetitive (use Witcher vision follow footprints, rinse and repeat over and over), the huge number of just 3 varied locations are also dull and repetitive, the NPCs all look the same and have the same voices, yep, dull and repetitive. The main quest was linear garbage with literally the same outcome at the end of the game. Fallout 4 offered many more 'endings' in comparison.

The Witcher 3 is the ONLY game in the past 5 years where I couldn't complete it due to game breaking bugs. Specifically in the Assassination of King Radovid quest, had to reload that 17 times to get through the complete joke it was in terms of glitches and bugs (and that was 8 months 'after' its release lol, the current version still isn't fixed). Finished Fallout 4 without a single problem. Would you like a tissue for those tears?

And what Fallout 4 brought new RPG genre what we haven't seen before ? Fallout 4 is no more than just re-skinned Fallout 3, Betshesda even didn't bother to create a new engine for the game.

@Salt_AU: I haven't played it yet but it seems like everywhere you look people are calling Fallout 4 pretty light on the RPG side. And I'm not talking about hate comments screaming the game sucks, I'm talking very positive comments about how the game is great but still pointing out the RPG aspect is quite minimal.
