I took a break from Fallout 3 because of bugs and errors only to have bugs and errors on here while I try and help some others who are experiencing bugs and errors. The world is coming to an end. Bugs and errors everywhere!

Ah, my last reply worked. . in IE only. I think the problem is that your new software is not Firefox friendly. I first typed the same reply above using my normal Firefox browser and it kept giving me the error. I copy and pasted the same message into IE and it posted.Qixote
I ONLY use Firefox and never have that problem though so that can't be it.
I have google Chrome and I get this error all the time. This is what I do to fix it.
1) Make my message.
2) Submit
3) Error pops up. Click Submit again.
4) Succeeds with the exception that if I had special font or color it reverts back to normal.
So I am using IE now.
I'm getting this error on every post. It is putting a non-breaking space HTML element in the HTML source. When I remove this it fixes the problem. This error has been happening for a few weeks now and needs to be addressed.I am using FireFox 3.0.4 (see image below)

This is the exact same problem I am having.
I've had the same problem since the new format launched.
I can occasionally post if I change something in the text - like make something bold or itallic.
I also get this message...
Has anybody figured out how to get around this yet? I've given up on posting. (it took 8 tries to get this msg through)ProcrastinI have to go into the html editor and manually delete all the nbsp thingies and that corrects it for me. However, it is getting quite annoying. This only happens to me in my union forum though not in any other comments.
I agree, quick reply never consistently works for me either (Firefox 3.04 on Win XP)Dracula68Odd, I have the same browser build and OS and it has always worked for me.same browser, version and OS here too without any problems..on the rare occasion punctuation still plays up, but that's easy to bypass just using the html equivalent for the simple instead...I've never had any problems with non-breaking spaces (& nbsp; i.e. a space where the line is not allowed to wrap/break to the next line) either..I've even entered them on purpose before and its gone through fine :? I do however have the editor disabled as well..which probably has something to do with this not really affecting (aside from the rare and easy to fix/bypass hiccup)...even on the odd occasion that I do use the normal post window (for editing posts for instance). As an aside, it seems the edit/delete/report abuse, etc., drop down list has randomly disappeared for me...the quick quote/reply are still there though :? I can still edit posts using the manual method however so it seems the module just hasn't loaded...I'll leave it a bit, restart my browser after clearing temp files, etc., and then make a thread about it if it's still missing after all that..assuming there isn't already a thread about it that is of course..Edit: working fine now...
It is being worked on but I have no ETA on when it should be fixed again unfortunately.[/QUOTE Thanks, good to know that at least Gamespot is working on a solution. I'll just continue to space everytime I post. Was this error not caught during the beta???
So can we get any feedback on whether or not you all are working on this, what must be done, & when we may expect to see a solution put into effect???
