NIS is now taking reservations for pre-orders (yes you have to reserve your pre-order) for Ar Tonelico. If you reserve and then pre-order you'll get an art book with it. Seeing how this game would probably already be a niche game (as are most games published by NIS America), plus it's being released on PS2 after the Next-Gen war is in full swing, it will probably become rare pretty quickly. If you are interested you can reserve your pre-order here. duncanr2n
Wow, thank you very much, I just got mine. That's worthy of a post for itself on the main page so no-one misses out on it.Â

Done.I'd like to nominate Touch Detective (DS) as a brand new buried treasure. The storyline is a bit tough to follow, but as an experience it is a lot of fun.CodingGenius
Ouch, there really is a Touch Dick game :P
Rule of Rose came out in Novemeber I think and is still under the radar. It might not be brand new but it is relatively new. I just found out about Ar tonelicoâ„¢: Melody of Elemia and that completely depresses me that I am too late to get it reserved.
:(
Maybe I can pick it up from someone on ebay.

That's a great one, very collectible. I'll add it now.

You can still preorder it from Gamestop and get the art book if you want, it's the same as the NIS preorder minus the soundtrack.Â

I think New Super Mario Bros. should be on that list for sure..I have a hard time believing either of those games are hidden/buried treasure. Sure, they are great games, but this thread is for games that are easily overlooked or missed-out-on.
Another possibility might be Mario Kart DSÂ mostly for the addition of the classic tracks.icytower38

One of the DS titles that I think is largely overlooked and HTF is Point Blank DS, where you use stylus taps like the Guncon. I've only seen one copy, which I plan to acquire quite soon.

Upcoming treasure? I wasn't sure where to put this, but figured that this place would be all kinds of happy to hear about it.

That is a game I'd so love to get, but I'm not so sure about buying a PSP for it. I'm just not into the idea of buying another system. I'm already going to be getting a PS3 next weekend.Yeah, I didn't really mean to imply it was luck. I'm just sayin' I don't think I'll be getting one for a long time.... so it'd be kinda nice to be in your shoes - playing PS3. At home. Not at the Best Buy. Like me. :PinkwolfMy shoes aren't filled with PS3 playing, yet, but come next Saturday they will be! :D
It seems that Warpath, a game on the Xbox that I recently purchased is a little-owned title (44 users). I hadn't heard of it prior to getting it.gmsnprIsn't that kinda like an Unreal Tournament game exclusive to the Xbox? I've seen it at Fry's for really cheap and considered getting it but I don't know much about it.

Well, my copy of Ar Tonelico has shipped. For those of you on the fence about this title RPGFan has a review up that might help you make up your mind.duncanr2nMine shipped as well, scheduled to arive Friday. I hope this game doesn't have the audio/crashing problems that Atelier Iris did. The review doesn't mention it and It sounds like the reviewer played the entire game, so I'm hopeful.
