Not brand new but recent,
Obscure (Xbox), Haunting Ground (ps2), Fatal Frame 3 (ps2), Riviera (GBA), all the Shadow Hearts Games.
Obscure is becoming, well obscure. It's a really good SH clone (better than SH4 was). Despite the budget pricing of 19.99, I've already seen it selling for twice that. Haunting Ground is another good survival horror game a la Clock Tower with minimal action. Rule of Rose is kind of similar to it, though HG came first. FF3 just completely fell off the radar. I've been waiting for the XB version but it doesn't look like that's happening since it's been nearly 2 years. So now the survival horror collectors (myself included) are scrambling to find copies at less than full retail. It's gotten tough to find, especially for less than 50 USD new.
[QUOTE="duncanr2n"]Atelier Iris 3: The Grand Phantasm is available for pre-order now. For those of you who don't know. The Atelier series is pretty popular in Japan. Of all the Atelier games only Atelier Iris 1 & 2 have made it outside of Japan. There have been several games across multiple platforms. With the exception of the the Atelier Iris games the series doesn't really focus on combat (which is the likely reason the other games haven't made it outside Japan). Anyway, Atelier Iris 3 is available for preorder now in two flavors, the game with an artbook, and the game with an artbook and soundtrack.
Thanks Duncan, I got mine.Â
I guess I should add Surf's Up! for the GCN as it seems to now have the final GCN release date.waflerevolution
Definately, surfing penguins. This looks interesting shooter/ RPG: Alien Syndrome.
Not sure if this could count as buried treasure, seeing as how the game isn't even out yet. But after seeing Ricardo play this game on "On the Spot" I can't wait for it to come out...
 Odin Sphere
I want to go back to the land of 2D bliss.

I've been waiting for this one for a while. And Etrian Odyssey for DS, but I'm not going to add them until they come out. New policy I made up. If you do not subscribe to Play magazine they have a wonderful cover story on Odin Sphere. This game is sure to be 1. Very Cool and 2. Triple in value over the years.
Penny Arcade recently did a strip on Odin Sphere, having some nice things to say about it.  In the daily news post, they linked to the Odin Sphere page on Atlus USA's webpage. I decided to follow it since I hadn't seen the official page yet. No dice. Due to the increased traffic from Penny Arcade, Atlus USA's site was either down or running very slowly for the next few days!
Suffice to say, I expect demand for this game to increase accordingly.

And as well as Penny Arcade did in conveying how cool I think this game will be they did not mention that every thing in the game is hand-drawn.Â
I noticed the same thing. I'd never seen Atlus' page down previously.Penny Arcade recently did a strip on Odin Sphere, having some nice things to say about it. Fullmetal Alchemist: Dual Sympathy, it's a cl@$$!c beat-em'-up but gets critisized for it... it gets praised for having puzzles and minigames...
