Collection Leaderboard - March Update

Thank you for all the ideas, I will more than likely pick up most of those games soon! But, I just thought I would let you all know that I just broke 500 games!!!!! I am sitting at 504 now!! Go Wit Go Wit it's your birthday!! no, not really lol

but I do want to be on the coveted list now!!! 8) Because that would be the icing on the cake!!! Woohooooo

Before the stats, some points of interest.

• Congratulations first to tuckerjj for joining the 1000 Club.
• Jeff has been removed from the leaderboard. In his blog he says he will not be coming to the site any more, so we won't know what his collection size is on a month-to-month basis.
• Total game collection for the members of the board is now 17,863 *cough*

Top Volume Gains for January 08

1. Duncanr2n with 30 games
2. Falconclan with 29 games
3. gmsnpr with 23 games
4. tuckerjj with 21 games
5. asproshane with 20 games

apsros monthly stats are limited to those on the leaderboard. And since 500 is the minimum to get on the leaderboard then you'll start to be included in all that next month (just post the pics!). I think it would be too much to ask of aspro to track everyone's gains so the line has to be drawn somewhere and 500 is where the line was drawn.

Oh, and by the way, grats on the 500, and nice haul for the month of January.

Yes. That wasn't so hard was it? Love those shelves, the way they are on an angle, an dplenty of room for growth too. It looks great.

I've layed off of purchasing a lot of games too myself. I've made a commitment to play all the abox 360 games Ihaven't opened or played and got in the last year or so. In december and janurary it's really payed off for my gamerscore. xDGAMECAMILLER

Yeah, that is a crapload of Wii games. I'm not too fond of the Wii, so I only have 7 and 1 of those isn't mine. 360 on the other hand I have a crapload of.

I have heard from the manager of our closing Hollywood Video that they just got a new batch of uber cheap newer games, so I will be heading over there on Tuesday and picking out which ones to set aside for future purchase. Apparently, they will remain open for at least another 6 weeks and have gotten a bunch more games, which I can apparently pick through and set aside the ones I want for when I am able to purchase them. It does seem like the longer I wait, the cheaper they'll get, and since I don't have to really worry about them being snatched up, because I have connections there, I might be able to make up those 50 games I'm missing sooner than you'd think...

Im a Wii-Wh*re :P one of my goals to have as many Wii games I can get ahold of -- hope u get some awesome game deals, BIG

Thanks Castlevaniap, I am quite proud of everything I have gathered over time. At least it is appreciated here! I wish I could have put more pictures up, but the site limited me to 100MB. I held on to everything as a kid, except for the boxes to some of the early stuff. I even kept all my Nintendo Powers and posters. My favorite talking piece is the cassette tape of Daughter Brite, which Nintendo gave out at the Championships for prizes. I still have it after all of these years!

As for the Fairchild Channel F Aspro, I tried it out for the first time last night. It was sent to me by my father who had it stored in his attic and never used it. Believe it or not, but I actually got the thing to turn on and give me a screen for a few minutes. But since there is a broken clip connector for the antenna leads from the RF adapter to the TV, I couldn't get it to hold. I probably need to go to Radio Shack and pick up a new box with those leads. If not, I can use the box I have from the Atari 2600.

While it was loading I kept saying, this is gonna be the tower of wii. xD That's a lot fo wii games. :)GAMECAMILLER

Good luck with that...I tried to get one a couple years ago and Radio Shack said they'd quit carrying them. You might have to go a-huntin' for that one...
