I picked up my pre-ordered El Shaddai (360) tonight and these:

Sprint Cars 2: Showdown at Eldora, PS2, v. fine, CIB, R0, $8.99

Offshore Tycoon, Wii, v. fine, CIB, R0, $4.49

gmsnpr

it was not easy to find info on that game... nice find. (El Shaddai)

In the past couple of days I got the following. My Xbox 360 collection now stands at 560 titles, or 512 retail/48 dlc packs according to KG's rules for counting:

  • Brink (X360) New $25 ---- after using $5 reward zone cert at Bestbuy
  • Megamind: Ultimate Showdown (X360) New $15
  • Create (X360) New $5
  • EA Sports MMA (X360) New $5
  • The Last Airbender (Wii) New $5
  • MLB 10: The Show (PSP) New 7.50

Yeah, I have a friend who has been playing this and getting a lot of achievements.. I have been wanting to play it since it came out and figured I would take the plunge at that price so I can start playing it.

In the meantime, today I got a new piano black PSP Go for $70 on clearance at Target.

To go along with my new purchase I picked up the PSP Mini game Angry Birds and the PSOne Classics game Vagrant Story off of PSN. As soon as the battery is done with initial charge, I will install the system update and download the rest of my PSP Minis, PSOne Classics, and PSP downloadable games. Sweet!

This thing is small and light! but feels good to hold and has a great screen (slightly smaller than the regular PSP)

  • Mutation Nation (Euro-style), AES, n. mint, CIB, R3, $76 shipped
  • World Heroes 2 Jet (Euro-style), AES, n. mint, CIB, R3, $61 shipped

why do people keep buying those "imports" seriously, you can get the US versions cheaper for the actual PS1... physically...

  1. I have never seen these games in the wild and doubt I ever would.
  2. These games are for my PSPGo, so even if I had a physical copy, I would still need to purchase the download in order to play it on my PSPGo.
  3. They don't have US versions available on the Playstation store as far as I know..
  4. My new PSPGo was dying to play some good shmups.

Gads does this forum software even work? I've tried over ten times and can't cut and paste from a notepad. So here goes, I've got Flashback cart only on Jaguar coming, Power Drift on Saturn, and I picked up an Everdrive 64 and an N64 console along with a cosmetically broken NES to repair my current one.

Ding, ding ding!  It's in the washing machine right now--not that it was dirty, but it's fabric and I don't want trouble.  I couldn't believe that someone was keeping their Game Gear in a Nomad case--you usually see the opposite, if anything.  Nomad carrying cases are fairly pricey, actually.  The last few I've been watching have been $35 and up.

Took the plunge and became owner of a new aqua 3DS at the new $170 price point. TRU has a deal where you get any 3DS game with your console purchase for only 9.99, so naturally I chose Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D, however, they were out of stock on that game (of course), so I talked to the supervisor and he said I could get a different game, keep it wrapped, and simply exchange it for LoZOoT when they get more copies in. So I have a copy of Steel Diver sitting here unopened. Since I didn't want to get the system without any games to play for it, I picked up Dead or Alive: Dimensions at Bestbuy for $20.

At this price, and with these deals, I think this system is worth getting now. I love the 3D effect, having played DoA for about an hour.. awesome! A totally new gaming experience. :D

This is the only site that I know of that censors the word "****c".  How can you talk about vintage games without that word coming up at least once?  Of all of the sites to censor that particular word...........  It's as if ****c is a dirty word.  My car is a ****c...*slap on wrist*...No, you can't say that.  LOL  I have a lot of ****c games and systems!  Stop talking like that.  We don't allow that kind of language here. my distaste stems from practicality and actually seeing the aftermath of the "digital services". Once those services go, so do your games... it's been that way for YEARS... ever since Sega Channel... there's been a lot of download services... and a lot of them are gone now... taking the games with them. even this generation, a lot of services have closed doors... heck, even some games have closed their online servers making DLC for the gmaes useless... i.e. a waste of money.

for now, at least the 360 - and the xbox live service... and website... keeps a list of everything you bought in case of something like UGF's situation... but that still doesn't help the games who's content has become defunct.

We don't allow that kind of language here. the reason they censor the word along with anything with the word "C|@$$" as well as "$+y|e" in them... in any combination is it allows for hacking into their CLEARLY retarded and outdated coding. In truth, the fact that they keep using coding so aweful and so restrictive... and so broken... and so full of flaws and errors and bugs... it's just proof that they don't care at all about this site or anyone who uses it... I've known 10 year olds who've made more functional sites... don't get me wrong, GS was awesome once... but CNET's coding change quite literally destroyed this place... one could say that they nuked it... and now we live in the rubble... just trying to make ends meet...

I break my 360's all the time lol I have to re-DL a lot of stuff via their license transfer thing... about once a year now... I just make my system break  MORE on purpose sometimes just to qualify for the FREE replacements lol. still beats Sony's we make make you pay for our mistakes policies.also, since it's stored on your live ID and their website and the 360, it's not like they are "lost" they are redilly available at any time... even if you were at your friend's house and using his/her console. it's like having a library in cyberspace.anyway, so unless MS goes out of business... I don't see that situation of "losing" happening... at least the stuff you get stays yours unlike PS+... what a joke that service is...

anyway, I also neglected to mention that some games stopped selling content just like some games are no longer available to DL. I have a LOT of stuff that isn't sold anymore... and even that stuff is in my "purchase history" for re-DL. and not affording a new XB360 at this point isn't exactly possible... youcan get the older ones now for less than buying most rare games...

Thanks for the info. I am not too familiar with Microsoft policies and, since I don't dig the DL scene, I was unaware of that.

don't get me wrong, I literally loathe Digital anything... but with MS, it's actually better than memory cards.... even if your data gets erased a lot of the back up information stays... a LOT of data is stored online on the "gamer profile" itself... including a lot of arcade save files and all the achievement data... it's pretty amazing...

also, great stuff mostly amazing prices.

Whoa, is Bestbuy having a sale right now? I haven't seen these titles for $19.99 yet.

Great pickups btw..

Best Buy Canada had nearly all the new-ish release titles that were selling poorly on for 19.99 for one week (end of July I believe?)

The following week and every week since they have been in the 39.99 range.

Afrika, PS3, new/open, R0, $19.99, Gamestop

The fellas at one of the local stores were able to pull this one in from a store an hour away.  Now I'm only only missing 68% of the NA Natsume library.  Â
