32X-
32X system (naked) ~ 15.99 (new system for me! I completed my tower of power!)
Doom - mint cart only ~ 4.99 (only 32X game in-store, they had 6 of it... this game isn't common but it was the only one and in multiple...)
waflerevolution

Is it fully functional (come with power etc?).  Doom is a good game for it if you have it up and running.

Aqua Aqua, PS2, v. fine, complete, $10 (according to some this is getting scarce).

I have never seen it. Period.

my store used to have 10+ copies as did most stores in the area...

it came naked... no wires, no box, no manual. I used generics for the A/V (the made it look bad on the TV but worked, I'm going to look for officials) and a genesis AC that worked fine.

Excellent!  That's good to know, I have a naked 32X in addition to my complete one, that taht's definately good to know.  Nothing like getting a new system.

I have a naked Genesis 1, a complete Genesis 2 (it used to have a complete box with it untill the flood...) and an AC only Genesis 1... it just barely balanced out...

I decided to finish off this current generation of game systems by getting all the games I want for the PS2 / GC and XBOX that are on my wishlist. So, I guess I have officialy bought my last XBOX and GC games. There are only 2 PS2 games that I want that have been released (Magna Carta and Dot Hack 4) that I'll still be on the look out and 4 that will be released in the future, but other than that I'm done.

It's kind of where I am with the SNES -- just 4 to go.

So here's today's bag, all used, all complete:
Twisted Metal Black $5.95 (A re-purchase)
dot hack 2 $24.65
Cubivore $24.65
Call of Cthulu $15.30
Ninja Gaiden $8.41
Return to Castle Wolfenstein $4.24

So, here are the final tallies for this generation:
XB - 87 games
PS2 - 81 games
GC - 40 games

The Playstation 'won' in terms of titles, because the only reason the XB has more is because I bought all multi-plaform games on the XB (which has to be at least 30 of the games).  That's a bit of a surprise to me, because I always saw myself as an XBox kind of guy, but it had a late start and and early finish.

I am still torn on GU (or is it Fragment? I don't pay a lot of attention to the .hacks). I did manage to find another "getting scarce" PS2 game tonight:

Under the Skin, new/sealed, $14.99.

They also had copies of Unison and Super Bombad Racing, but both were w/o instructions, so I passed on them. Does anyone here own Woody Woodpecker: Escape from Buzz Buzzard Park on the PS2? I recently found a list of PS2 games that are speculated to be or to become the rare titles on that system. A majority I own or already knew about, but not that one. I have found copies of all the games on this speculated rare list on eBay for $10-20, so there's no rush yet, but if you find WWEFBBP or copies of Hot B's Soccer America (another I'd never heard of) for a low price and rarity's your thing, you may want to take action before peoples' collective attention turns to buying up rare PS2 games once collectors figure out which ones they are. I think that the Bode Miller skiing games might get added to that list, b/c I don't see it too often anymore (not that I want to play a downhill skiing game).

Also, I nearly picked up a copy of the Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker Limited Edition (the split cover NA release, not the all-gold PAL version) today on eBay, but its price has gone from about $35 a few months ago to $58 this morning, so I decided to watch a few more sell before I settle on what the going rate is. I'd really like to get that thing, but I've already got copies of both Wind Waker and the Ocarina/Master Quest disc. A friend of mine had a copy of the game in question, and he was going to trade it to me, but what he wanted in trade was my mint, complete copy of Chrono Trigger. I flatly refused, which is still the right decision, but I have only seen a handful of copies of the game since. I once called Nintendo to see if I could buy one from them directly, but the rep I spoke with had no idea that the LE version even existed. It's uncommon, shall we say.

Fragment will not be comming out in the US because it's a REAL MMO as opposed to the first 4 and G.U. Under the skin is really scarece... I have been looking for it... Unison and Super Bombad Racing are common but not common complete, I always hate that... Woody Woodpecker: Escape from Buzz Buzzard Park being an 80's cartoon buff, I have been looking for that for some time... I haven't had any luck finding it... LOZ stuff I honestly don't pay attention to.... I'm not into zelda that much... I liked the first one... that's it.

I took delivery of a Stereo wiring harness for the Atomiswave (JAMMA boards are mono) that plugs into a expansion port on the board itself.  It was $20.

I have a PS3 pre-ordered, 4 of 16 at my store. But that system is being sold and used as a way to fund other game purchases.

Good going. I was going to be number 30+, so I didn't bother. I'll be surprised if you clear less than a grand for that puppy. Here's a link to the madness already beginning. Here's one with bids.

I'm betting on at least a doubling (1500, thanks to tax & fees) and hoping I can hit like 2500. But we'll see. Either way, I'll make something off this.

Yesterday, I picked up Mortal Kombat: Armageddon Premium Ed. (PS2) and Okami (PS2). I tried to get God Hand, but nobody had a single copy so I just put an order in for it at eStarland.com. The idea I got from talking to some is that there will be few copies of the game in stores. Anyone else get that same feeling?

At my local Wal-Mart today, they have been drastically cutting back on game prices to make way for the new Wii and PS3, especially on PS2 games (since they usually make up a huge portion of the video game department). At my local store I saw many deals, and I picked up 4 today (all PS2 titles):

Kao The Kangaroo: Round 2: $6.00
Rise of Kasai: $6.00
Legend of Kay (which got a very nice rating on GS): $6.00
We Love Katamari!: $15.00

There are some more there, but most of them, If not all, are sports titles. I may pick up a few tomorrow to add to my collection anyway. So stay tuned.

My browser is screwing up so I cannot quote Gamesniper -- but you mentioned some trade doubles:

If you have the time or interest, you know we're all salivating over your trading doubles, so like I said, if you could, can you mosey over to the Free Trade Zone thread and let the drooling begin.

Just took delivery of the following from an eBay lot that cost $66 shipped . Many games have some cosmetic damage (cracked cases, instruction manual "bite marks" from closing the case on the manual, or lots of small surface scratches). The asterisked games are spoken for or sold. I am keeping the balance. Mainly, I got this for Fox Hunt, which is one of the rarest PS1 games in North America.

1. 2 Playstation consoles with 1 Sony non-Dual Shock controller each, one lacked an A/V cable.
2. extra Dual Shock controller
3. Sony brand memory card, grey
4. Bushido Blade, n. mint, complete*
5. Driver, v. fine, complete*
6. The Emperor's New Groove, fine, complete*
7. Fox Hunt, PS1, n. mint, complete
8. Gran Turismo, n. mint, complete*
9. NASCAR '99, fine, complete*
10. NCAA Football 2000, fine, complete*
11. One, n. mint, complete
12. Road Rash, fine, complete*
13. Road Rash 3-D, fine, complete*
14. San Francisco Rush, fine, complete*
15. Street Sk8er 2, fair, disc only*
16. Tomb Raider, n. mint, complete, the original pressing
17. World Destruction League: Thunder Tanks, n. mint, complete*
18. WWF War Zone GH, fine, complete*
19. Phantasmagoria: Puzzle of Flesh, a PC CD-ROM game, v. fine, jewel case, manual and all 5 discs

Various low-interest demos, but also
The Legend of Legaia Demo
Square Soft on Playstation Collector's CD

Some top-scratched demo discs went in the trash already, most were magazine freebies.

I also failed to mention one of today's pawn shop purchases in my last post b/c I had put it in my pocket when getting out of the car and found it while dealing with the PS1 delivery.

A 1019-block Nintendo-brand Gamecube memory card, loose and a little cigarette-y, $6

another excellent buy... I found a good way to remove cigarett-y-ness is to leave it outside in a screen porch or something, I had a few items that worked well on...

I traded in the asterisked games and the first PS1, and with some of the store credit, picked up:

Mystic Heroes, PS2, n. mint, complete, $12.95.

I also found another nice double:

Escape from Monkey Island, PS2, v. fine, complete, for $9.99

I looked at Wal Mart again for any deals(Kao 2 sold out yesterday, so luckily I got it) And most of the other titles was sports and not really worth picking up (to me).

So after some things I went to Planet Replay, and came across a great find:

Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower (PSP) for about $27.

You bet your sweet -insert word choice here- I picked that up! Finding that game in any store is darn lucky, so I knew I had to get it, because chances are, I'd prolly would never see it again.  I wonder who traded that game in. oO

I also picked up:
Silpheed: The Lost Planet (PS2) which I got for free cause of buying 3 games there. This is by Working Designs - I miss them  so. It's in good condition, though it could use a case change. But it's not like everyday you can find this game either.
Devil May Cry
for $6.99 - Decent copy
Batman Begins (GCN) for $9.99 - Like brand new

I also Headed over to Gamestop with my mom (She went to Planet Replay with me too - she always looks for movies at both stores) and got

 .hack//Mutation Part 2 (PS2)
.hack//Outbreak Part 3 (PS2)

for a combined total of 47 bucks. Very good copies, (the guy at Gamestop always tries to find the best looking copies for me). I got a pretty good discount off of them too. I figure, better get them while I can cause it's not so easy to get these titles (plus I want to beat every .Hack game).  Though with some people seemingly trading in some rare games - it might start to get easier :p I notice a trend at some shops though. Some titles have seemed to have gone up in price - maybe it's just me but certain used games are getting the nudge up in their use prices.

Also, I noticed that Legend of Kay costs around 30 bucks at most stores. Man, did I get a good deal on that game yesterday.

I've commented in italics

EDIT: What the hell is up with my browser?!  This post looked entirely different prior to submission.  Anyway, the italicized comments were in regard to GAMECAMILLER's post.  The prices on the Buy 2, Get 1 sale were good, the Darkstalkers was a little higher than the game is going for around here, and so were the others.

Well around here, it's a bit different 25 - 35 is the usual for the .Hack games minus the first one (I paid less then 25 dollars for each), and this is the first time I've seen Darkstalkers ever in any of the stores near me.

To Aspro73:

I unistalled Firefox this morning and re-installed it so that I can use the PM system, and it didn't work. I unistalled it again and went with Netscape 8.1.2, and now I can reply to PMs, but the forum post submission is crazy. While I was previewing my post about the leaderboard, the submit, preview, check spelling and reset buttons all disappeared intermittently. I had to back up and submit w/o previewing it. How **** hard is it to make a browser that works? Not one that incorporates every possible plug-in or newest functionality, but simply works in a consistent manner?

Well, nothing special, but worth noting...

Got my Genesis AV cable that I'd been whining about today.  Also got a little surprise.  I found Xevious for the 7800 while helping my dad clean out his garage last night, along with an old Atari 2600.

Like I said, nothing spectacular.  But when you find something that you thought you'd lost, its like getting it new all over again!!! :)

Finding an old console that you thought you no longer had would be as good as getting a brand new one. If only I could find my Intellivision -- it's in one of my "excess controllers" boxes (I hope) I have a suspicion that one of the guys that did some work on my house took it.

Yeah it seems like if you modify the quote at all it does not show it -- maybe this is a new 'feature' that stops people was jacking aruond with what people say.

I am glad I got VP at the time (I mistook it for Vagrant Story).  Secret of Mana was a good pick-up, as was Taiko -- if you have not played it yet open up one of those puppies.  Anti-grav with Eye-Toy is a nice pick-up also.  And now, for some reason, I want Ribbit King.  I think I'll go on over to my TRU today.  Strangely, there are hardly any in my area (I only know of 1 that is within 15 miles of here).

Sounds like a fun day.
