That sucker is CIB. I would probably pay up to $140 USD for it, shipping included.Too many things to quote so I'll just say, congrats on every one's pick ups, they are most totally awesome :D I wish we had sales like this over here :P
On the NES toploader issue...
It's now mine!, I pulled it for $155 AUS plus 15 (and an extra 5 for registed shipping) so in total $175 AUS. [QUOTE="gmsnpr"][QUOTE="-_-Nintendo-_-"]How much should I bid for This? What is a fair price for a Top loader like that?-_-Nintendo-_-
Once converted, it equals 138 US :D
Kickass. I'd like to find one complete. Even though they're malformed and have no A/V output, I still want one. You can A/V mod them relatively easily.the "Lights, Camera, Action!" game only came out in the UK, it works on US DS systems without modding and it's in 100% english so you shouldn't have issues.Got another Ani maniacs game off of eBay yesterday.
Animaniacs (SNES) Factory sealed $12.94 with shipping.
I probably payed more then most people would have, but I'm happy with the transaction. Oh, and I don't see any "repackaging" marks on the seal.
That now leaves two more Animaniacs games I have to find (Lights, Camera, Action! & The Great Edger Hunt), and that is proving difficult with my only resource being eBay as the one's listed are all PAL format.

(Both complete)
Samurai Shodown
3 Count Bout
Now I just have to figure out were to put it. I hate stacking systems, but it may have to dwell on top of the 3DO for a while.

I got the NEOGEO hooked up, it is a beautiful thing. I was shocked by how big the games are. Look at this picture of a cart box on top of my Wii. (click for detail).
I also picked up Tales of Eternia (PSP). I actually already own this game, but my copy has the dreaded Volt glitch. duncanr2n
That's cool. Here is a forum about it for those who are interested.
You (John) mentioned that to me when I first joined I think (something about it being only sold in Cali). I just got a copy on Ebay for $14 + $5 shipping.aspro73

All 3 used King Kong copies at the rental place were I bought it are $9.99. I got the good one; one was without insert or manual and one was without manual.ah. well 9.99 is a tad high for being manual-less... my rental place never even has it in stock... stupid point whores... I've been looking for tube slider for almost 4 years... please enjoy it.
I picked up Tube Slider on GC today, n. mint and complete for $9.99. There are only a small number of Gamecube games remaining on my want list.

About the Neo Geo games. I think (Emphasis on think, I could very easily be getting confused with something else) that I read that Neo Geo games were so large because SNK thought that people would feel better about spending so much money on a game if they were larger, you know make them think they are getting more bang for their buck. Ultimately its alot of dead space.
Picked up KOTOR 1 and Psi-Ops ( both on XB) for $9.95. Together. Discs are in good condition, both have their manuals although psi-ops has a puncture in the plastic membrane of the jewelcase; no damage to box art, though.
Even though I was having a problem with KOTOR because it wasn't caching ot teh hard drive, the deal was way too good to pass up (being that KOTOR platinum resells for $29 - $30 CDN). And, KOTOR works after a second patch job via XBox Live; when I deleted the content, the update that originally corrupted the hard drive data was removed too, so when it was re-ionstalled, all was well. Which means Soldier of Fortune 2 is back on my "to buy" list. it really hurt when I had to trade those two titles in because they wouldn't cache to the hard drive anymore because of corrupted data from XBL.

Is it your first time with Guitar Hero, or have you played it before?
I love those games.
I've played GH before. My sister has it (both actually, but she only had the first one last time I visited her). I've never really messed around with GHII, though.
Went to bestbuy for the clearance. Obviously most of the games I wanted were MIA, however I did walk up to the register with about 10 games, most of them ended up ringing up for significantly more than the list I had said they were supposed to be, and since it wasn't a bestbuy published list I couldn't argue. What I did pick up was
Xbox: Blinx 2 (new) $1.99
Flatout (new) $1.99
Today's only saw minor damage.kick...ass.
ChoroQ (PS2) - $4.98 new
R: Racing Evolution (PS2) - $4.98 new

[QUOTE="usagi704"]Received the Nintendo MP3 Player today from Play-Asia. It ran me $48.90.gakon5I saw that thing! It looks insane, and maybe in English? The screenshots I've seen all appear to have English menus. Tell me how it is; a friend of mine almost bought one of these because it's rediculous... and he has no iPod, and the thought of using a DS to play music was awesome. As far as I know there is only a European version, so that is what I got. Yes, it is all in English. Ridiculous isn't how I would describe it, barebones would be more like it. All you get is the GBA-esque cart. You don't even get a small SD card to start with. It isn't a big deal to me since I would have replaced it with a larger 2GB card like I ended up getting anyway. You can fast-forward and rewind in songs, play, pause, select different playback options like repeat and shuffle using Select. The options for playback are also pretty barebones, but I got it because I wanted to be able to carry around as few devices as possible. If you are looking to do the same, it can be a good buy. The box says it only can be used in a DS, DS Lite, GB Micro, and GB Player. That is not true. You can use it in any device that can play GBA games. In fact, I tried it on a GBA SP and it not only worked perfectly, but it was seemingly designed with that particular system in mind as it lines up perfectly when inserted in the system.
I received a $300 gift card for something at work so: (all used, all complete)
Feel The Magic XY XX $5.39
Breath of Fire Dragon Quarter $7.19
Astro Boy - PS2 - $5.39

I picked up a couple of games today:I'm sorta pissed, as the sexy alternative costumes for the witch in Bullet Witch are all downloadable content. Way to capitalize on lecherousness, Atari! I was hoping that you could just beat all of the levels or find X number of widgets to dress her up like a French maid or naughty schoolgirl. Damn.
- Fugitive Hunter, PS2, n. mint, complete (and probably trashy fun), $8
- Grooverider: Slot Car Thunder, Xbox, v. fine, complete, $8
- Bullet Witch, X360, new/sealed, $54.99

Psychonauts for the PS2 arrived in the mail for me yesterday. It was an ebay auction I won for approx. $13 after shipping. I would be super pleased, however, despite the fact that the auction discription said it included the disc, box, and manual, I only got the disc and the box; no manual.
Now, to be fair, the guy emailed me after I sent payment for the auction with an appology and telling me that he didn't actually have the manual after all like he thought. He also said that he would refund my money back if I wanted to change my mind; but that he would also ship the next day if he didn't hear back from me. Well, I didn't happen to check my email that day, and by the time I saw it, he had already sent me an email a day later letting me know it was on it's way.
The game disc is in great shape, as is the box, but I hate not having the manual. This leaves me with a few questions for you guys.
1) Does anyone have an extra Psychonauts PS2 manual they'd like to sell me?
2) What feedback would you give this guy. I'm not sure if I want to leave positive feedback (he did give me the option, however brief, for a refund) or neutral feedback (the item descrition was incorrect after all).

Agreed. It is one thing for devs to release stuff that was honestly developed after the fact, not because they knew they could release an incomplete game (Crackdown - according to many people, I dont have first hand experience), but because they were showing support for their product down the road (Maps for Halo 2).
Anyways, acquisition report - Nothing new. I went to another bestbuy at lunch yesterday and they were picked clean of clearance items. Oh well, it is to be expected.

Received Today:rave master is done on the power stone engine. the Gekido series is fairly well done as a whole.
Gekido Kintako's Revenge for $14 (new) based on Inkwolf's Now Playing list a week ago. It's a side-scrolling beat-em-up for the GBA.
Rave Master - GC for $19 based on a conversation between Waffle and gmsnpr. Both games are in the collections of 55 other people.
