At another Flea Market I came across another advid game collector who had a shop there. we talked about a lot of systems including the Atari Lynx. He then pulled out a case he was selling at his shop from behind the table and said "I bet you don't have this." It was a Sega Nomad complete with battery pack, case and a bunch of genesis carts all for 60 bucks. The Nomad has been a system I've been looking for, for a long while.

So here's what I got for $60:
A Black Game Gear/Nomad Case that holds the system, any parts you need, and a lot of carts (basically it holds a lot of stuff in general).

Out of the flea market zone, I picked up a few new games too (seems like the Wii in my house is coming back to play time)
Dewy's Adventure, Wii, New $18
Nights Journey of Dreams, Wii, New, $30
The House Of The Dead 2 and 3 Return, Wii, New, $28
MLB Power Pros, Wii, New, $30 (quite possibly my new favorite baseball game of all time)
Ghost Squad, Wii, New, $30
Monster 4x4 World Circuit, Wii, New, $18
Wii Blaster with Link's Crosssbow Training Game, $18
Mario Superstar Baseball GCN, New, $28
( the Wal-Mart there had a copy)

Anyway, after this month, I think I'll chill back and enjoy all the games I got. xD I think March totals for me is prolly the most in number of games I've gotten ever in a month period (excluding the N64 and Ps1 games I got last year). I'll post pics this week (hopefully) of what I got too for the collection photo thread.

VEEEERY well done mate! :) Richard Scary? Awww me wants :Pclubhaxor

I know it's got me interested in checking into what the "Sega Club' series was about. a lot of these games are from that series, which makes me think that this set was owned by a young kid or so. Pretty remarkable if it was, as the Nomad and games are in excellent shape.

[QUOTE="GAMECAMILLER"]

inkwolf

Wow. Nice job on all the stuff you got! Those above are some of my favorites. :)

The Nomad has been a system I've been looking for, for a long while.

So here's what I got GAMECAMILLER

Sweetness! It's always great to finally get something you've been hunting down.

I'll post pics this week GAMECAMILLER

Please do!

The adventures of Lolo is a cart i've been looking for, for a while now, not only for collection purposes, but to finally play and finally got one. xD now it's for 2 and 3. I know they have been released on the Wii, but it seems now, that I am getting all the games on the Wii VC, in it's original form so I don't want to spend money that might be wasted if I spot the actual cart. xD

It was a light up stylus and screen wipe thingy. I now have two sealed copies of the game and two sealed bonus items for it.

http://www.konami.com/Konami/ctl3810/cp20104/si2288017/cl1/lost_in_blue_2_with_bonus_stylus_and_screen_wipe

This was free from GameSpot for not sending me my tax forms on time. It was listed as being the first game, but whatever. A free game is a free game and the bonus was nice. They also sent along Twin Peaks the complete series on DVD which normally goes for $80 to $100.

pikadeth

Free stuff is always awesome! :D

Great haul, but one item in particular stuck out at me. I've heard that MLB Power Pros (WII) has become very hard to find. It's something that our fellow collectors may want to keep an eye out for.pikadeth

Now that you mention it, I haven't seen that game much till I found a copy at that Gamestop. I've never seen the PS2 version in person either. I know it's one awesome game though. My Dad was even playing it...and normally he can't really play the more complex sports games of today, but he played it quite a few times over the week and whopped some butt too.

[QUOTE="pikadeth"]

It was a busy weekend for me. There were too many last chance deals on cheap last gen games to resist. I'll behave again next month. I promise.

I envy the Wave Race Blue Storm Complete. xD mine's a disk only and case. ;-; Great pickups though pikadeth., I wouldn't been able to resist either.

I was able to bring that stuff back from vacation pretty easily, we got the Mini Van so it didn't take up much space at all. Though we were pretty packed with Two dogs, 4 people, 1 cat and a bunch of other stuffs my family brought home. xx

Nicely done GAMECAMILLER,that is some stellar pick ups

Thanks! When Igo to Virginia, I can't resist going to the old shops, and flea markets. I saw so much, game wise, and non game wise. I saw an old style tabletop pinball machine for home. It was awesome, old style, constructed well, mostly wooden, electric, looked great, too bad I didn't have the space to bring it along. xD It something you'd see in a museum, and the $125 dollars they were asking, was a steal at that price. I know the name was 'test your might" I believe. I'm gonna try to do some research on it.

Yep :D

I plan on ordering a bunch of other SNES titles from the site, they have very good trade in prices.

It also means I will have to sell a chunk of PS2 games but all for the greater good!

Its a spanish only release game, and one of the later releases, so it is quite hard to find.

I think that sticker is a sticker they use in italy(?) when they import it. In other words its the name of the company which imported a couple of titles into countries like Italy and Spain.

That's a hefty chunk of change...but don't forget, you're also looking at the AU exchange rate. Of course, it won't be too long and they'll be equal...

Metal Slug Anthology - New/Sealed - 29.99

Metal Gear Solid - The Essential Collection - 29.99

Pop'n Music 1 (DC import) - used complete w/spine card - 4.95

This reminds me that I forgot to mention that I bought a Dreamcast which can play Japanese games (just tested it with pop'n music). It came with 2 controllers, 1 VMU, 1 rumble pack, a fighting stick, and some games. The only game I cared for that came with it was legacy of kain: soul reaver. Oh and it was $80 (which I'm not sure if this was a good deal or not as I bought it on a whim).

Now I'm off to die countless times in Metal Slug. :)

Edit: 34 continues on metal slug, man my skills went down the drain.

Bought a copy of Chocolatier for $4.98 - 75% off clearance at Target. Then found $9.99 copy of Spyro: A New Beginning (GC) at target as well. I know it's apparently not that good of a game, but mom offered the cash and I didn't turn it down. :Dbrandyinindiana

I got the last of my big haul back today, and used some trade in credit from the games I didn't keep to get some new stuff as well. Here's what I got back from my haul:

Thrillville (PS2) Disc Only

Dragon Quest VIII (PS2) Complete

Gran Turismo 4 (PS2) Rental Case

Shadow of the Colossus (PS2) Rental Case

Tales of Symphonia (GCN) Rental Case

Area 51 (PS2) Rental Case

Star Ocean: 'Till the End of Time (PS2) Complete, the lable of the first disc is pealing off, but it should work fine.

War of Monsters (PS2) Complete

Ghost Recon 2 (Xbox) Rental Case

Here's what I nabbed at Gamestop with my trade in credit:

Ninja Gaiden Sigma (PS3) New for $33.99 with employee discount in trade in credit

2 Xbox 360 1600 Microsoft Point Cards $16.99 each with employee discount in trade in credit

I also got another freebee:

Project Gotham Racing 2 (Xbox) Complete. The disc had some scratches, so we couldn't take it as trade in, but it should run.

Better to get the hard to get (and thus expensive) games out of the way first :P

Also keeping in mind I sold over half my PS2 games to raise the cash ;)

According to the Box:

A platformer title starring Valkyrie's lizard friend Xandra. In the game, which plays as a prequel of the Valkyrie games, you control Xandra as he leaves his enchanted forest in order to get help for his family. This will eventually lead him to meet up with our beloved Valkyrie and mark the beginning of their adventures.

Xandra has all the abilities of a standard platformer character, which allow him to jump around and navigate the many obstacles found in the game. Additionally he's armed with a pitchfork which he can use to impale his enemies and stick to some surfaces. Collecting coins allow him to purchase extra lives, but there are no added weapons or spells as in the Valkyrie games.

Why did a simple trip to Best Buy to get one CD become a bargin hunting trip? Anyways, here's what I got:

Just Cause (360) New $15 at Circuit City

Yager (Xbox) New $5 at Best Buy

Raw Danger (PS2) New $15 at Walmart

and I don't really know why I got this last one. Maybe I am playing an April Fools Joke on myself:

Hour of Victory (360) New $20 at Walmart

The Blues Brother - SNES, complete 4.99 pounds
Lord of the Rings - SNES, complete 20 pounds
Top Gear - SNES, complete $9
SNES power Adaptor $6.50
Shane Warne Cricket - Mega Drive, complete $6

Found what looks a brand new Sega Mega Drive II Shane Warne Edition, docs, controller, console and plugs seem to be sealed. It's got everything but, yep, the game. Hence why I bought one off EBay :P

I've been auditing my collection and found several titles that weren't listed online so expect a jump in my numbers this month. Here are some new additions that followed me home.

Quake III Arena - Dreamcast - Used - Disc Only - FREE - Some people moved out of an apartment and left his behind along with a Dreamcast, controller, and memory unit. A Dual Shock for the PS1 was also part of that lot.

Britney's Dance Beat - PS2 - Used - Complete - $4.49 - This completes my Britney game collection!

Playboy: The Mansion - Xbox - Used - Complete - $11.69 - Mrs Deth as wanted this for a while. No, I'm not kidding.

Atelier Iris - PS2 - NEW - $17.99 - We've been looking for this for months. Scratch another game off the check list!

.hack//Mutation - New - $17.99 - This was a replacement for a copy lost during my wife's move.

the game is in fact fun, with custom soundtracks... it acctually plays quite a bit better then sims... there really isn't any perversion in the game at all... but grat haul.
