GERMAN GP SCORES:
Redders1989's 4th win of the season not only gives him the highest ever individual score for a Predictions Championship GP, but also allows him to extend his lead to 87.5 points over XSamFisherX, but cjek moves up into 3rd only 3 points behind. Avenger1324 is the only person to score less than 100 points, after choosing Sutil over Rosberg. As a result, 69ANT69 moves ahead of him into 12th.
What won it for me was the picks of Rosberg and Glock. Those two, along with Vettel, made a grand total of +24 moves, which is 72 points.
Honestly, I'm still surprised that even at the halfway stage, I'm the only person to have won more than one race this year.
Ye god, im going backwards!!!!Bigcol1611
In all fairness though, you're only 7.5 points off of 2nd place. In fact, you're only one of three (cjek and XSFX included) to be within 100 points of me.
Maybe I should take a race off... but then again, maybe I won't :D
As a result of there being no replacement for Felipe Massa - unfortunately - everyone who has picked Ferrari have now been hit with a -5 penalty for a DNS.
Not that it affects anyone in particular, but without Massa's participation, Ferrari will be ineligable for either best or worst constructor. The lowest position will be 19th, and not 20th, this weekend.
HUNGARIAN GP SCORES:
Bigcol1611 becomes only the 2nd person this season to win more than one race. As a result, he shoots right back up into 2nd place.
Despite being the highest score, even if Redders1989 had not entered, the latter would still be leading the championship. However, for the first time since the BAHRAIN Grand Prix, the lead of Redders1989 has been reduced to 71.5 points. kingdre loses 4 places as a result of not entering which benefits: bloodling (moves up to 6th), Racky_rules (jumps kipi19 as well to move up two places) and ryrulez (who moves up to 9th).
There are also swaps in positions between 69ANT69 and KimisApprentice (11th and 12th respectively), mjk1 and Avenger1324 (13th and 14th respectively) and Zeller-- and Carbon_Sniper (21st and 22nd respectively).
Wow, such low scoring predictions and ive won!! Yippee!! :D
Next times predictions are not going to be easy to 'predict'!
Given Raikkonen's record compared to Massa in Hungary i can't believe i didn't chose him. That and i shouldn't have changed my prediction for worst constructor from Torro Rosso to BMW

Wouldn't have made a difference. Force India were the worst.

sorry Redders i don't know what's wrong with me today but i keep talking absolute rubbish for some reason. i think i might go have a lie down and come back to this tomorrow when i'm a bit more awake.

XSamFisherX adds his name to the ever-growing list of race winners in 2009, but another low-scoring round doesn't help him move up from 4th, as the top 6 remain the same.
After another one race blip, Redders1989 again increases his lead to 77.5 points from Bigcol1611, and race-by-race the chances to catch up are decreasing. 6 races to go, and the road to Abu Dhabi closes significantly. Can Redders hold on to win the Championship, or can the dueling trio of Bigcol1611, cjek and XSamFisherX close up to make it a 4-way fight?
BELGIAN GP SCORES:
Congratulations to 69ANT69 who wins his first race, alongside wombat26 who takes his second win of the season. Another low-scoring round for all, but for only the 2nd weekend in history of the Predictions Championship, minus points were scored, courtesy of XSamFisherX - and after all the sandbagging of last year failed to do that!
It's getting as bad as Jenson Button now - Redders1989 takes another step forward in the championship, now 86.5 points ahead of new 2nd placed man cjek, who swapped places with Bigcol1611. The fight for 2nd place has become a 4-way fight now with wombat26 now jumping into 4th ahead of XSamFisherX. 5 left to go, can any of these 4 close the gap to Redders?
Good job i got my predictions in on the thursday night, my computer blew up on friday morning!!!!
Having said that, just 26 points didnt help catch redders!!
Appologies on that ANT Redders is away an he'd normally sort that, it appears to have slipped the rest of the officers minds :( sorry!
Â
Thank Anthony Hamilton Lewis crashed that would have really had me in a bad place for the predictions :D
ITALIAN GP SCORES
yuxwallin becomes winner number 10 of the season, with a quite large margain over the rest of the group. For the most part, scores were quite close between 2nd and 13th, with just 15 and a half point in between them.
Once again, Redders1989 extends the championship lead, which now stands at 91.5 points to cjek with only 4 races to go. Bigcol1611 is only 4 points off 2nd place. The top 8 all remained the same, but Avenger1324 makes a brilliant jump of 4 places in the overall table in one race!
The reason yuxwallin had such an advantage over the rest of us was because he was the only one to predict Renault in his selection. The 5 points for a front row position were also nulled as both teams - McLaren and Force India - suffered a retirement.
I'll admit that I got lucky. Normally, I'd never have predicted Renault but it was probably worth a try with KERS, plus my original selections were Ferrari, Renault, Red Bull and Force India.
Then I realised it added up to 22, so I had tp find a couple of alternatives, swap Ferrari for McLaren (and therefore Hamilton) or Red Bull for Brawn. Fortunately, I picked the latter.
Hamilton's crash also favoured me in a big way, as Raikkonen, Sutil and Alonso all moved up places.
Also FAO Redders, Hamilton was classified in the final standings a lap down. Is there still a 5 point deduction in such circumstances?
Also FAO Redders, Hamilton was classified in the final standings a lap down. Is there still a 5 point deduction in such circumstances?yuxwallin
Yes, as he didn't cross the finishing line. Malaysia was only a one-off as a result of so much confusion and the eventual red flag, hence why I only stuck the classified DNF'ers as retirements that race.
One example to use would be Kovalainen's retirement at Spa last year, which was on the final lap. Whilst still classified, I gave him the deductions for not finishing the race.
SINGAPORE GP SCORES
With a touch of luck and out-of-the-ordinary predictions, Redders1989 romps away to a fifth win this season. As the only person to choose Toyota and Glock, it payed dividends.
With such a commanding victory, Redders1989 makes another landmark - the first Championship leader to ever have a lead over 100 points - as he now sits 113 points ahead of new 2nd placed Bigcol1611 with just three races left to go. 2008 Champion bloodling moves in to the top 5, pushing XSamFisherX down to 6th. Another mix-up just behind the top 10 as ryrulez and KimisApprentice both move up a place, and 69ANT69 loses two places to them. Other than yuxwallin jumping kipi19 who failed to enter, everyone else remained in their places.

Thats right putting you all in your places :P

JAPANESE GP SCORES
Another close round, but by the cruelest of margains - just half a point - 69ANT69 is denied a 2nd win of the season, and instead Redders1989 takes the honours for the 6th time this year, and for the 2nd race in-a-row.
Redders1989 now has a 118 point lead with 2 races to go, but whilst the gap looks ever so ominous with each passing weekend it isn't impossible to claw it back. The only change in the table sees bloodling go joint 4th with wombat26, both on 1082 points, otherwise it is as you were. Bigcol1611 made the remark that he would become the 2nd rookie to win the Championship, but can he do it? Can cjek jump back to 2nd and try and put the pressure on, or can Redders1989 hold on to what seems to be an inevitable title win?
EDIT: It should also be noted that with this win, Redders1989 enters the HoF for most wins in the 2009 season, as no one else can catch him now.
Think Redders is gonna win this after the diabolical quali sessions by Vettel and Hamilton!Bigcol1611
You know I've got Button as well? The only guy I have in the top 10 is Rosberg!

With 3 points for each place gained having Vettel, Hamilton and Button could be a very strong combination

Could. But when you have Grosjean, Alguersuari and Kobayashi in front of those three...
