It was close in the race, and it was close in the predictions - the top five all separated by less than 10 points! Victory however goes to Bigcol1611!

Nothing really changes in the Championship race, as the only move in the table is defending champion wombat26 jumping mavediss to 4th.

tony205 extends his lead to 95 points now over Avenger1324. Some interesting battles boiling up further back though as some close in on others ahead - how will the race shake up with four races remaining?

Just like Lewis Hamilton with his pole positions, Redders1989 takes his first win in the Predictions Championship since the Canadian GP of last year, and once again becomes the sole leader of career victories.

tony205 again slightly extends his lead, now 101 points clear of Avenger1324 with three races remaining. 69ANT69 jumps up to 9th place, ahead of SadPS3Addict, and Bigcol1611 jumps XSamFisherX for 12th. Some real good battles happening however - with the win, Redders1989 now finds himself only 5 points behind Garfield360UK, and Bigcol1611 sits only 7 points clear in 12th. Up the front, Rayrota is only 24.5 points behind Avenger1324.

And to top it off, it's territory unknown as the next race heads to India!

Even when on holiday, SadPS3Addict can win. It's win number 2 of the season for him, winning by 15 points over 69ANT69 for the inaugural Indian GP!

There's little movement in the championship table - in fact, only one swap - but tony205 slightly increases his lead again to 103 points with only two races to go - looking good to take the crown now from Avenger1324. tony205 is also just half a point away from reaching 2,000 points - a feat never been done in a season before. The only move comes from Redders1989, jumping Garfield360UK to 6th place. Still plenty of potential for many moves with close fighting for positions throughout the table with just Abu Dhabi and Brazil to go - who will be topping the shuffles when all is said and done?

Red Bull being so ultra consistent this season has certainly helped.  It's not unreasonable at this point to expect tony205 to break 2,200 as we have 2 races left, and regularly breaking 100 points per race.  Following some 100 points behind, I'll set myself the target of breaking 2,100, and trying to hang on to 2nd from Rayrota :)

I did have to laugh how SadPS3Addict was able to get the best overall score, while the ( clearly unrelated ) SadPSPAddict managed to score the least in the same race.  They truly are totally opposite peope :P

With these results, there's only one change to the table as SadPS3Addict jumps 69ANT69 to 9th place. tony205 remains in charge of the table with just a single race to go, although the gap decreased slightly to 97.5 pts. over Avenger1324 - it seems almost inevitable now, but Brazil can throw up any kind of shocks - what will happen to the top come the chequered flag?

mavediss' poor score has made the biggest fight in the table for 5th place - Redders1989 sits just 1.5 points behind - can the latter get himself in the top 5 yet again in the final race?

That pesky 69ANT69 wins for the sixth time this season, tying for most wins in one season after Redders1989's championship-winning 2009 campaign - but he was pushed hard to that achievement, taking victory by only one point over wombat26.

However, second place will be no consolation to wombat26 as he's lost his crown to the NEW Predictions Champion for 2011, tony205! A much more commanding title win than last year - but not as big as '09 - tony205 won by 94.5 points over Avenger1324. Rayrota, an early leader in the title race, finished 3rd, 36.5 points ahead of former champion wombat26. Redders1989 steals himself a top 5 position in the final round over mavediss. The only other change in the table was 69ANT69 getting himself back in to 9th at the expense of SadPS3Addict.

A massive thank you once again for everyone who took part, and of course especially to Avenger1324 for making the spreadsheet that has made calculating and presenting this game a hell of a lot easier, making it more enjoyable for everyone.

Well done tony205 - a little too much of a lead to catch. This has been a very high scoring season, with some huge individual race scores. 69ANT69 has had a great run of races - probably now wishing he'd started earlier in the season :)

Thanks to Redders1989 for his hard work in running this, and I can only imagine the amount of time it took to work all the scores out manually. So we don't lose this seasons results I have already started a duplicate for the 2012 season. I'll play around with it for a bit trying out some different things, and once drivers and teams are all confirmed will get it ready for next season.
