Stop posting here officers and FG could you please sticky this thread?

I want to prevent CORe from attracting much attention that's why I did not sticky this thread. If you lost this thread, just check the FFE Directory thread and you'll find it tracked there.
well noone seems to care about what everyone else has to say, i thought this was a discussion not justĀ a thread for throwing in opinions
firstly, any member of FFE can post once in a discussion but only at the start of the discussion, unlike natiko, like maas first post, unlike his other one
secondly noone seemed to say much about a 'get to know you thread', since we have many long standing members, individual history would work well
on that note more threads that are officially sanctioned off topic (like other games) should be looked into
we all agree that off topic threads relating to Japanese style RPGs should be sanctioned?
dno if FG has informed you lot of why i haven't been on, or whether you checked my blog or whateverĀ but anyway i'll be back online starting tomorrow probably. and only CORE members are allowed to post here unless asked to...so stay out officers...
my threads which require more than just a few words in which you post in, posts that consist of paragraphs dont get any response. i think that we need to look at what types of threads can be full of content and still not require big responses..... im a big thread maker, but i need help to coordinate it
and i would prefer if the officer was not part of the core but just monitered it
Please elaborate your ideas rob. The main idea of OT weekends is to attract more activities during weekend. The CORE should discuss this well considering that OT inceases activitiy, yet decreases our chance for GS endorsement. ON the other hand, No OT will increase our chance for GS endorsement, but it will affect our activity.
FFE is not only up to GS endorsement, but also to keep fun and activity in the community. However, we should not be forever content ourselves with being a mere fun community. We also need to have a direction... to go professional somehow and GS endorsement is one proof that we are improving and maturing as a community.
Those are the two sides of the coin. Now, start the great debate.
i think we need more members who know how to post... like legend of fantasy union or system wars union.... not just in quantity. only then with more people like antsnail and neongen we can sustain an endorsement properly. this is just my opinion and my gauge, but we should stay the fun union for now
on another note, say we make an offtopic thread on one weekend to continue on another weekend, can we revive it. i dont like reviving old threads because it gets in the way of activity, however i think that reviving general off topic or games would work well and wouldnt take away posts, rather it would add on posts
our decisions haven't really been major as of yet, and CORE hasn't even got all it's memebrs yet anyway so a few more ppl can be brought in, as long as they're going to contribute to COREs purpose.....
as for the OT weekends, this is something that everyone should have a say in really, as the other memebrs will have their own opinions on them...personally i dnt post much more on weekends really and i dnt think they're necessary, most unions do fine with just 1 or 2 OT topics that stay open, in the end they dnt get as much activity as other topicsĀ most of the time anyway...
i participate in them now and then, but not always....i still think this needs to be decided upon by the whole union rather than just a few of us tho....
I say keep it, its not hurting anything, i'd be shocked if GS ever endorsed another union, thats in the past man they arent even worried about endorsements anymore
EDIT:Ā Besides whether you choose to participate in the OT weekend stuff or not that does not mean that it does help generate posts, the weekends are dead I created this damn place and have seen it from the beginning, OT always helps, it may not help much now because all of the original OT posters have been forced away by the strictness of some, bottome line this is not hurting anyone and if some (they know who they are) are worried this will cause us not to be endorsed they are chasing a dream, if you try so hard to be endorsed you never will be, thats it
keep the off topic... and if we do keep it i would like very much if people were less strict about topics that do go off topic... it always finds its way back
and i think if someone who was an off topic poster (similar to myself or say natiko) regulated the threads that would be a big help.
i feel myself a little drawn to non offĀ topic because of the spam you get.... but if people actually have something to say.... hear them out
and its not like you can only say stuff about FF without talking about the other games... FFs success is relevent to other games success
im glad me and you are on the same page mark, i dont see the offtopic thing hindering us from being endorsed if gamespot ever decides to endorse another union anywaysI say keep it, its not hurting anything, i'd be shocked if GS ever endorsed another union, thats in the past man they arent even worried about endorsements anymore

keeping off topic out of the on topics threads definitely needs to be maintained. the OT does need to be moderated to an extent but i dnt think it should be strict as long as it's in the proper place
can i ask for a suggestion thread for anyone to post into? we do alot of the decission making and the putting forth of suggestions but what this will be for is alerting us and the proposal for news updates, article reference, wallpapers and thread makingKnowledgeOrCredyer that would be ideal...
think that should be edited into the 1st post to direct ppl away from here when they want to make suggestions? i dnt think it's really necessary, but it might be ideal....
