Did you play the Psx version? I just looked up the opera scene on YouTube because my memory was a bit hazy, and the FMV was better, still not 'epic' though..billybobbarvis

I own Anthology, but I don't think I ever made it to the opera. I only bought it for FFV.

I really don't like comparing FF games like this, but, I have to say, I like FFVII much more then I like FFVI, but that does NOT mean its better.

I think the stories of FFVI and VII rival up pretty good, but, I fell in love way faster for VII characters, in VI I only managed to get interested in Terra, Celes and Setzer, maybe Locke too, the other characters just shouted boredom into whole game, then again, thats my personnal opinion.

So, this thread is evil, cuz its making us compare these two epic games for no reason.

Of course, if you still wana elect the best between VI and VII, just look at the poll, it speaks for itself:P

Well, I can't say I didn't like them, but, in comparrison to say Tifa or Cid, they mean very little to me.

Nevertheless, they are great characters.

Definitely FFVII. Its unbelievably awesome. I haven't played FFVI though, but I've played a lot of games, and FFVII is defiantly the best.MasterVulcan

Not to try to get in to this arguement, but FFVII is a flawed game. I'm not saying this to hate on it, but it's true. There is no "perfect game". Hell, FFIX and VI are 2 of my favorite games, and even I'm willing to admit they're flawed.

But yeah, don't attack me. I was just giving my honest opinion, and you're free to do the same. ;)
