Hi there. I was looking for a place to discuss Final Fantasy and found your place. Looks great!
My screen name is Gigastormz. Some people just call me Giga. My real name is Derek. I'm 25 years old (03/30/1981) from Bloomington, Minnesota, USA. In real life I'm a pretty quiet and sometime shy person but I'm fine once you get to know me. I'm 5'11", white, shaved head, 250 lbs. I started playing video games at my cousin's house back in the early 80s. He had an Atari 2600 and I loved playing Defender, Joust, Pitfall, Combat and other games. Since then I've been a "gamer." I like any kind of game except sports and "urban" games. My favorite genre is RPG but I've found nowadays I don't have as much time as I used to, to play long RPGs even though I love them. My favorite series would be Final Fantasy (of course, why else would I be here?:P), Suikoden, Resident Evil, Gran Turismo and Fire Emblem. I first got into Final Fantasy from FFVII which is my favorite FF game as well as one of my top favorite games of all time.
As far as other hobbies, I'm a music freak. A metalhead to be more specific. Some of my favorite bands would be Dream Theater, Iron Maiden, Sonata Arctica, In Flames, Devin Townsend, and many many many more lol. (see my myspace profile for more on my music tastes) I read a lot of comics too. Currently I'm keeping up with Marvel's Civil War, Ghost Rider, Marvel's Annihilation, X-Men, Green Lantern, JSA, JLA, DC's 52 and a few others. I also read manga and watch a lot of anime. Currently I'm really into Death Note (manga), Trinity Blood (anime), Basilisk (anime). Some favorites are Berserk manga/anime, Gantz manga/anime, Gundam Seed, Cowboy Bebop, Big O and Tenchi Muyo. And finally, I collect a lot of action figures. Specifically Transformers. I just counted and reorganized my collection and I have over 420 figures.
