Hard choice, both were extremely epic battles, and both were easy...
charater wise, again, both were awesome, and both were crazy and psychopaths that desired nothing but power and destruction.
I honestly cannot choose.
No poll?
Kefka. I thought Sephiroth's final battle was sorta odd, him suddenly a giant green thing and then half pegasus? Idk.
Shiggums
What, and facing a tower of corpses and an evil angel clown isn't odd? :P

I feel the same way. Both were awesome.
Kefka looks easy to beat compared to Sephiroth.D3dr0_0
While he wasn't the hardest final boss, he was no pushover.

I wouldn't know since I haven't played the game but seen someone destroy him at lv 73, but I did play VII and sephiroth heartless angle was a pain until I got Omislash.

True :P I see that as less odd. I mean, Kefka changed because of the 3 goddesses, and Sephiroth from the lifestream. The thing is, Cloud also fell directly into the lifestream and he didn't mutate or anything. It makes me think, WTF?Â

sephiroths aura in the lifestream was purely evil, melded with the dark materia, (even before he died again it was there, read maiden who travels the planet) hence the red stuff surounding holy being jenova and black materia. Clouds aura was protected by dual efforts from aerith/s and tifa. Plus, could cope with the lifestream since his body had been in there literally and had been brought out...
Although I give Kefka alot of credit as being an awesome boss, this is no competition. Sephiroth is the greatest enemy ever from any videogame imobatman_is_meMe, on the other hand. I do not see what was so great about him. He didn;t even do anything He spent the entire game frozen in the northern crater

That's what makes him so special..You barely ever actually witness him doing stuff, though, but he leaves signs. Like in the Shinra building at first, and when you see that swamp monster thing impaled by a tree, for example.

You're right that he was frozen in the northern crater for most of the game, but he was doing so much telepathically.....or mentally...or whatever you call it through his clones. How many people can you name that managed to bring the world to the brink of destruction while being frozen?

Kefka pretty much did destroy the world. He ruled what was left of it with an iron fist. Hew accomplished both typical villain goals. How many villians cvan claim that?

Amen!
Kuja did not destroy the promary world. He did a hell of a lot of damage to it, though.equimanthorn01

Zidane is not dumb! You take that back right now! D:<
Personally, I think the argument that Sephiroth was frozen the entire time is lame. In the end, it was his clones that did all the work, but he was the one that orchestrated the whole thing.
How is that any different from Kefka ? Kefka alone was a weakling. Using the same logic as equimanthorn's, he did not do ****, either. The poison and all the slaughter ? It wasn't him; he merely gave the order and watched. The World of Ruin ? That was the work of the Warring Triads.
Speaking of the World of Ruin, I wouldn't call that 'destroying the world'. It was just the same world, everyone was still alive and fine, what kind of apocalypse is that ? If Sephiroth's Meteor had hit, it would have been a different story. Both failed, imo, but that doesn't make them bad villains.

I concur!!!!KEfka did all of it. HE was the one that set fire to Castle Firago. He lkilled Leo and the emperor/ He rearranged ther goddess statues, throwing the world off balance. He obtained their powers. He killed hundreds of ESPers to obtain their powers. Heruled the world with an iron fist and took joy in stepping on the hopes and dreams of the people and crushing their spirit. He poisoned the water at Doma. Well, both get pwned by the goodie-two-shoes, anyway...
As I always say, Sephiroth and Kefka are identical in many ways. Both are psychotic, both wanted nothing but power and destruction, both go around killing whatever without hesitation, both have angelic final boss forms with kickass battle themes...

Of course he did. I was only using applying that logic on Kefka to show you how flawed it was. Kefka did all those things, and so did Sephiroth.

I wanted Sephiroth to destroy Midgar and everyone in it with meteor :twisted:instead of losing to Cloud if he was as powerful as they say he was he shouldn't of had a problem. What if they make a FF that lets you play as the villan:idea:D3dr0_0
