Ok, I must have missed something in my countless play throughs of FF X, when does Tidus whine all the time? Is it when he's fighting his Father/Sin? When he's beating the hell out of Seymour? Did you not see the opening cutscene where he blasts an opposing player out of the Blitz Sphere into the stands? What about when he knows nothing about fighting, yet he helps Auron fight through the Sin Spawn that have invaded Zanarkand? What about when him and the party invaded Bevelle on the cables, avoiding being shot down by the followers of Yevon? About when he decides to fight against the teaching and attacks Yunalesca to protect Yuna from sacrificing herself? Etc.

If you ask me, Tidus stopped whining a little before you entered Sin. He still took way too long to suck it up though. Like, 50 hours too long.

Exactly, the only emo character I can think of if Cloud. Granted over time he become more open and stopped doubting himself and allowed people into his life, etc. But he's the only characer I can think of that was "emo".

Yeah, unlike fs, I gave proof that he wasn't whiny. He did struggle to understand what was going on, but last time I checked he fought through them and didn't just "sit in a corner crying and cutting himself". Also fs if you'd look at the poll.....not very many people are agreeing with you.

You are wrong and that is wrong." which tells me "Don't bother with evidence. It's not like it will do any good. If it did any good, the debate would have ended ages ago.

Certain events don't shwo the emotion shown in the game during said events, so just bringing up events gets you nowhere. It's evidence that gets thrown out before it can hit the stand. Like I said, whining is all in the tone of voice. Mentioning parts of hte game do not show a tone of voice, so mentioning parts of the game cannot be used to prove or disprove whining. He was emo. Mentioning parts of hte game do not show a tone of voice, so mentioning parts of the game cannot be used to prove or disprove whining. He was emo. I demonstrated it. We all know he whined.
