I fisrt played FF II (north american version) on the SNES :P

Well mine was FF7! And its the first that I ended...

The first FF that I ever played was FF7 when I was 6 years old. I managed to complete it at the same age.

I think any Final Fantasy is enough to get somebody hooked, maybe not X-2 :P

I was lucky enough to be born before they started making FF's so my first was the original Final Fantasy for the NEW NES when it was introduced to the US. I was 8 when I bought the game and loved it ever since. I still have it as an emu on my computer because sadly the NES needed a proper funeral. Go original!tabian00

I tried to get games as an emu but i couldn't do it. How did you do it?

final fantasy 7 was my first for the ps1 and hope that it comes out for the ps2 where it was so goodff-gamer

I tried to make sense of that and failed miserably. I think that you are hoping FF7 comes out on the PS2? Well if that is what you said then no it is not going to come out on the PS2 :D

My was FFX and I still think it is the best. I think its how the music fits the game that makes me love it so much. And can we bash X-2 a little less? Square has never made a bad game and that holds true for X-2. Yes the characters are annoying, but s are Cloud and Squall. Plus the lack of seriousness to most of the game is a major plus. And having the airship right away had to happen eventually in one of the games. The only real thing that excludes it from being a core FF is that it is a sequel.

Sorry for turning my post into a X-2 defense. Um, I like VII also so don't kill me. Please?

well i saw FFVII alot in mags and other places when i was young, i thought it looked awsome but i didnt realy feel a need to play it at the time, due to the fact i only played my N64 and spent all my time on the legend of zelda ocernia of time (still the best game in the world to me)

my first to experence was Final Fantasy VIII i was at my new friends house and he was doing the train mission where you capture the president, and i got to see Ifrint in the boss battle, needless to say i had never seen a game like that, as beauitful and wilth such indepth dialog and unique battle system. and thus i spent like a year earing money to buy a sony playstation just for that game

it was only after i had finaly got my playstation (which seemed extreamy expensive at the time..someone tell me how much it costs back then i think it was like 200) did i discover that the blond spikey haired badass with a huge sword i had seen many times as a kid was another final fantasy character in an completaly unknown game to me and my frineds called Final Fantasy VII.

and thats how the madness started lol

well I was in your union as DOA but you didn't know me then... so... I just know your union...
