"Government agent gunships inbound!" Rick called from the tree.
Now we're in trouble.... Leon thought.
"Government agents?" Jessi rolled her eyes. "That's all they're throwing at us?"
Terra walked up closer to the cyborg, and stared at it for a few moments. She put away her sword, then had her hands start glowing black once more. She lifted the cyborg off the ground, he had a thin, black circle around him, and Jessi guess that's the same thing Terra had around her hands.
"I thought you could only lift rock?" Jessi asked.
"Apparently not..."
iam an agent who goes around destroing all hostile synthesis in the system
i recently got over-througn and hade to become a cyborg with memory loss.
i was tring to destroy the government so i could destroy the sythesis without them bugging me.....
i dont know why though....
"I have an idea!" Xane shouted. He turned into a monkey and climbed the trees in seconds, jumped into the air and turned into a raven, flew into the ship and turned into a whale blowing the ship to smithereens. Xane landed back on the ground.
"Oh...and I can turn into animals," Xane said, "Forgot to mention that."
"Let's go deeper." Leon pointed out. Rick tossed him the RPG and climbed off the tree.
"What about the survivors?" The scrawny marine recruit pointed out.
"I'll search for them later. We need to make sure the agents lose their sense of security in this region first."
"Wasn't there an upgrade that let others turn into animals also?" Terra whispered to Jessi.
"Shh!" Jessi covered Terra's mouth, and got a few feet away from the rest of the team. "Yes, but it's not confirmed. If word gets out before we find it, the enemy will find it."
"And we can't let that happen?"
"Yes! Now let's get moving before they suspect something."
They both joined the team once more, and Jessi just realized she was the only Hylian, even Terra wasn't Hylian. What's with the lack of Hylians? ...idiot! That's because you're the only one from Hyrule, that was born there! She thought, and followed the team wherever they were headed, she hadn't been listening to realize where.
As Leon crept through the bushes, he turned to Rick. "What happened to the squad/battalion you were with?"
"Brutally slaughtered. I got away because I managed to make an escape quickly. I know it's cowardly but someone had to get the word to High Command!"
"Speaking of High Command, I haven't heard anything about them in a long time..." Leon muttered.
"Right, sorry. Didn't hear you guys..." Jessi mumbled. "So... How much deeper into the forest?"
"Stop asking questions!" Terra whispered.
"Hey, we just met a like.. three more people that we don't know if we can trust, we have to know where we'll be headed in case they turn on us." She whispered back.
"Oh, you mean Leon, Rick, and that cyborg?"
Jessi smacked her forehead with her palm. "You better hope they didn't hear that or we're dead."
"Erm, anyway," Jessi cleared her throat. "if we get too deep into the forest, we'll have to watch out for soggy land. Leading to a waterfall in the exact center of the forest."
"How'd you know there was a waterfall?" Terra asked.
"When you commit crimes, you tend to run deep into the forest." Jessi joked.
"Scared?" Terra asked, noticing her.
"No way! I'm just trying to figure out what part of the woods we're in now. We could get lost if I don't find out, you know."
"Why would you have to find out?"
"Cause I'm the one who spent most of my time here. Whenever I was here, in this town, I was in this forest."
"For what?"
"Erm.... No reason, just walking around."
"Heh, I heard that." Leon looked up as he fixed his M4. "I'd like to know how you learned about the secret power I have hidden."
"Well, it's not really a secret anymore..." Rick pointed out.
"Thanks for the obivous." Leon grabbed the RPG and cleaned it. Suddenly, he could sense one of them was here. "Be quiet. One of those B.O.W.s are here...."
Crap, this dude's onto me... He's got better hearing then I figured, I thought only Hylians could do that. Jessi was thankful she didn't have to answer. This may be the only time I'm glad an enemy is around.
I suppose we all have some kind of secrets... But I don't think it's best we hide them, it could damage us later on... Terra was the trusting one in the group, ready to become anyone's friend, but when she made the wrong choice, she makes them wish the person never deceived her.
Closing his eyes, Leon used the Triforce to sense the invader. "It's lost, but it's searching for us. It's that same thing that tried to attack me earlier."
He scanned the person he was about to question with his advanced visor and modified eye, and confirmed all the data. "Hylian, possesses the Triforce of time, related to Princess Zelda. Am I correct?"
Jessi dropped the F-Bomb a few times out loud and under her breath. "This is the last time I ally with a half cyborg thing that has to freakin' scan me to find answers."
Terra had a shocked look on her face, she had no clue Jessi could be so much as to drop the F-Bomb.
"I deny everything. Whatever you just scanned me about is a lie. There's a glitch in your system." Jessi denied everything, even if this cyborg-human had scanned her, she couldn't let word get out, better to just claim there was a glitch.
Leon facepalmed. "Wow. You can't even control yourself." He loaded a fresh clip into his M4 and slung the weapon over his body. "Don't bother denying the facts-Rick, tell them."
Rick stepped forward and explained everything. "It's true. He is related to the Hylians, because he assisted them during the war with the synethesis. Although...I'm not sure about everything else."
"I'm not going to argue with someone who can't even control their temper." He picked up the RPG. "If you think I'm wrong...then sorry then."
"I wonder why I bother allying with idiots." Jessi rolled her eyes. "I told you, that stuff isn't true! I don't have a Triforce!"
She pulled off her glove and showed a hand without a Triforce mark. "Happy now? I told you, you're wrong."
She used the wrong hand... How sneaky. Terra thought with a smile that her ally was so smart.
Good thing Terra has that mind block thing... She could give away my secrets if there people could read minds like me...
"Sorry Xane, forget you were here. But yeah, Xane probably knows it better then me." Jessi corrected.
"Jess, maybe you should say something about being Hylian." Terra whispered it her.
"Why should I? This half cyborg smart ass already-" Jessi whispered.
"Xane knows your Hylian, you might want to say something before he does, then they won't trust you if he says something before you."
"I guess your right..." Jessi thought about it for a moment. "Alright, fine." Jessi raised her voice. "I'll admit you weren't completely wrong. I am Hylian." Sge brushed her hair out of the way so to show her pointy ears, then rolled her eyes. "Come on Terra, let's catch up with Xane." She turned and raced off after him.
Terra stood there for a moment. "Umm... Catch ya later!" She called quicklyand smiled before running after Jessi and Xane.
