I'ma go with,you guessed it,AoS,though i loved the darker feel of HoD,and it's music.

Most people go with Aria, but I personally love Circle the most. For some reason though, Harmony is supposed to be the weakest of the GBA ones. I never played it, so I can't really back that statement up.
I absolutely adore Circle of the Moon.
If I had to rank the GBA CV's in order of which I most prefer, it would be Circle the most, Harmony second and Aria a distant 3rd.

3 ppl choosing CotM,really?
And ontop of that, one says that AoS is a distant 3rd best?
Wtf????

Lords barely even counts- an outside company's reboot. Tch.Without a doubt, Circle of the Moon. It felt the most like Symphony of the Night, which is the best Castlevania game of all-time, IMO.
My favorite was Harmony of Disonance. Aria of Sorrow was pretty good, but definitely not my favorite Castlevania game of all time. SoN holds that title. There was just something about Aria that bugged me, can't really recal what it was, but having played so many other games in the series, it felt out of place for some reason.
Aria of Sorrow and Circles of the Moon are both amazing games.
Harmony of Dissonance was fun, but the music was cringe worthy and the entire game was a cake walk.

Says the forum crybaby. Find me a forum where someone respects you. Anywhere.I liked COTM the most because of the difficulty, DSS cards, and that epic soundtrack.

Yep, and the awesome Metroidvania design is done so well in this game.

Fanboyism to the max....
Wait, what? How is this fanboyism? Fanboys are people completely loyal to a console or a brand regardless of any other considerations. Preferring a certain game within a series is not fanboyism. It's an opinion, which we all have. And the GBA Castlevanias are so similar in design, that it's not like there's a clear-cut winner here.

Bite me. I have every right to be pissed off that a company I adore chose to reboot a franchise I very nearly worship before they told the single most relevant part of the story. I never said Lords was a bad game. I scoffed at the idea it could be the best in the series when it rightly shouldn't even exist yet.Don't worry about it guys, GreekGameManiac cries on every subforum here he goes on, including the Wii and DS forums. Then he releases steam in the Off Topic After Hours subforum.Wait, what? How is this fanboyism? Fanboys are people completely loyal to a console or a brand regardless of any other considerations. Lords of Shadow is bad. It doesn't deserve the Castlevania name in any form.

Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't make it fanboyism. That's not what that word means.

Yes i see how that sounds like.
But some of the ppl that voted on CotM,said they like it cause it reminds them of SotN,and not because they think the gameplay is better,so i'd like THEM to elaborate.
If you don't see what mean....it's like me saying i like Twilight Princess better than Skyward Sword, not cause it's better, but just cause it reminds me of Ocarina of Time the most >_>.
See,i like AoS cause the idea and gameplay is better, the card system in CotM was great, but absorbing souls and gaining ther abilities is more fun and addictive than using the cards.
See? atleast i gave a(better)reason.

Now that sounds more legit.
I'm of the minority that thinks SotN, while good, wasn't as great as it had been made out to be. You could essentially steam roll through the entire game, having no problems whatsoever. I like to be at least fairly challenged when I play through games, and SotN failed on that front, there was never any tension or "oh **** moments when I played.
Alucard's magic felt really meh to me, and I never really felt as if I was the son of the dark lord Dracula, but instead some guy who gets a few bells and whistles en route to a short (albeit satisfying) final encounter. But I digress, as I'm supposed to be talking about CotM.
I found CotM to be better than SotN, it offered me more of what I like from adventure games, challenge, intrigue and lots of exploration (although this was in Aria, SotN and every god damn metroidvania game ever as well). I just liked how CotM did it better is all. I fell in love with the DSS system in the game, as it allowed so many combos and possibilities that the game felt fresh all the way through. However, despite whatever abilities you obtained, you're sure to get your ass completely handed to you every few screens. The game is rough, and that made it all the more compelling. I also loved the simple protagonist, weak yet competent vampire killer armed with the badass whip ready to go slay Dracula. I luhv it.
However, in Aria, you're just some.... random kid Soma. I can't remember specifics but I was immensely turned off within the first hour. Kid gets warped to Drac's castle and oh btw I can absorb demons souls and destroy things real easy. Huh? Soma was given no context within the game until way later in how he was so powerful, leaving me incredibly underwhelmed all game. The game was also far too easy, and just about every encounter lacked tension or was void of any sort of energy. When Nathan finally ascends to the top of Dracula's castle to slay the Dark Lord again.. that's awesome. Soma reaches top of castle to fight Graham, some guy in suit (for spoilers sake ignoring other potential endings). It was really the little things that made me dislike Aria in comparison to CotM. Aria had a neat plot twist, but fell flat for me. Aria's demon soul equipment was rather cool though.
Tl ; DR : Aria = way too easy, weak main character, lack of interest throughout game in general. Weapons and demon power ups are cool though.
CotM = Challenging, great DSS System, Vampire Killer > any random equipment, Nathan Graves > Soma Cruz, lots of tension due to difficulty and lots of high energy encounters.

All three of these games are at the very top of my GBA most wanted list. Haven't been able to find a good deal on all three ao I'll probably end up buying them one by one. Which one do you think I should start w/, having played none of them before?

This is very simple to explain. Symphony of the Night was the greatest Castlevania game of all-time in my book. So any game that feels a lot like SotN is gonna be a winner for me.
The same would also apply to other favorites of mine. I like Metroid Fusion better than Metroid Zero Mission because it felt more like Super Metroid. And I'd LOVE for someone to make a game in the same vein as the King's Field series (and don't point the Souls games out to me, they aren't the same at all, I think I was the only one severely disappointed in the games because I heard how similar they were to the KF games, and they aren't)
