I saw it on TV, just a guy in a jungle, i wasn't like crysis or anything. The fire I agree was amazing. I will watch this video to see if its any different, but the graphics was not what stood out for me during that presentation.

EDIT: Yeah its a looker for sure, the lighting is amazing, the outdoor environments and such look stunning, especially when fire is around. Still the character models and weapon models look a bit standard. There is something about Killzone 2's graphic style that has this CG quality effect going on that blows me away. Its not really fair cause Far Cry 2 seems to have a game world the size of GTA ad Killzone will probably be very linear.

Something about putting more blur on the gun gives FPSs this very CG look. I expect to see a lot more FPSs doing this in the future. It helped make games like Crysis look that much more impressive and cinematic.

How do you nominate (and in this case actually give awards to) games that arent even out yet? We are just over half way through the year and they are nominating games that dont come out until the end of the year and thats if they dont get pushed back unexpectedly.EvilAshTwin

i KNOW!!! Six on Six online play..... if this isnt revolutionary for a Sports game, I dont know what is. This is what I was expecting from Basketball games last gen.

Having not played any of the games behind the scenes like alot of the media did I will only comment on a couple of things:

1) I am alive best trailer? While I love the premise it shows and am looking forward to the title it was just CGI...surely RE5's trailer was better, though admittedly it wasn't fresh.

2) 360 with best hardware? :| I really want to know what they based that on cause I own one (well on my second one anyway) and it's CRAP hardware wise, crap.

wow, weird list. :P Much to disagree with, so I have a list of my own.

Best Hardware - Sony, I agree but not with your reasons. PS3 is supposed to be a gaming machine, and it better provide gamers with a constant choice of great new games. It's doing that right now, retail or PSN, I have never had this much choice with my PS3. Gametrailers said they picked 360 because of better/more exclusives. R2, KZ2, LBP, MotorStorm 2, Fat Princess etc. against GeOW 2, Fable 2, Banjo, Rock Band 2 timed exlcusive etc... I dont see how.

Best FPS - R2 just didnt show much for it to have the best showing. We saw much more gameplay for Far Cry 2 than R2, and it all looked much more thrilling than R2. Being a Resistance fan, I'll give Insomniac benefit of the doubt, and believe their story that they hadn't yet implemented a lot of graphical/visual effects. (Building was supposed to be fire during the Lethovian fight etc.)

Best Driving Game - What? They gave it to game that features nothing but ATVs and you gave it to Midnight Club. I dont even remember seeing that game at E3. I would give the award to Motorstorm because overall it's a better racer (more vehicles, better graphics, 4 player split screen running at 60 FPS etc.). Im aure at the end of the year, it will edge out Pure as the best racer.

best Online Game - I really dont know about LBP. Judging by Youtube, most mods on PC, it is very tough to find good stuff and I dont have a patience to sit through and download and try each and everyone of the user created levels. I'll go with R2, 8 player co-op, 60 player online, nothing else even comes close. (MAG doesnt count, yet)

Best Graphics - Resident Evil 5. This game looks insane. K2 has the best animation, art **** but lighting in RE5 is just as good if not better than RE5, and it has the best explosions, rain, character models so I'll go with RE5.

best Press Conference - MS but only because of the FFXIII announcement. If Sony had demoed one more game on stage, then Sony easily takes my vote, but they didnt and showed two CGi trailers in a post MGS4 era, so as much as it pains me to do it, I must suck it up and give it MS.

Best trailer - Prince of Persia. They didnt even nominate it. Really, they must on be crack. I'm sure they forgot, dead sure. One, it was not CGi, two it was beautiful.

Best PC game. Crysis Warhead. If it wasnt on the PC, i would give it Best Graphics as well.

Missing in Action - Team ICo project. Uncharted sequel (here's hoping that we get it next summer)

Best Sports Game - NHL 2009. Six on Six online play. Thats what online is all about. I want this feature in MLB 09.

Gametrailers knows their stuff. That is my pick, RE5 had an amazing show. Bring it on.

apparently they saw amazing stuff behind closed doors which sealed the deal. I thought the trailer showed enough variety, but if there's more, I wont complain. :)

I'm curious to see what GS and 1up think of RE5, IGN had a retarded list.
