Hey everyone, I figured we could use a new one of these since the old one is ancient. This is the place to ask for help when trying to decide what games to buy. So ask away, and we'll do our best to help.:)

After seeing the most recent videos for Red Dead Redemption, I think it looks like it will be the better game:
Red Dead Redemption Life in the West Part 1 Trailer
Red Dead Redemption Life in the West Part 2 Trailer
Red Dead Redemption Gameplay Series: Multiplayer Free Roam
The multiplayer looks amazing.
Wonder king Online , Atlantica Online, Perfect World, God of war, Dante's Inferno ill post again if i remember some moreliquid_snake20
I loved atlanica online The community was helpful, the game was fun, it had a gơod party system, and had was a fun turn-base game
Judging from your avatar, you like Batman the Animated Series. You NEED to go buy Batman: Arkham Asylum today. It has the same voice cast as the cartoon, and the game is just plain fantastic. Gamespot gave it a 9.0.Are there any good batman games for ps2 and ps3?

I need some good RPGs that won't kick my ass (I'm an epic fail when it comes to difficulty). I'm looking for some games like Oblivion, Dragon Age, Kotor (I/II) and NWN, if anyone would happen to know any good ones. aaaaarrrrgggggFallout 3 has an adjustable difficulty level, and is pretty easy on the easiest setting. If you liked Oblivion, you should check it out.(If you haven't already.)
PS3 owner here and I'm looking for two things, both are genres that I'm looking to get into but have never played:
1. Can you recommend a good JRPG on the PS3 for a beginner?
2. Can you recommend a good fighting game on the PS3 for a beginner? (I tried BlazBlue but it caused nothing but confusion for me)
Hrm... there aren't too many JRPGs on the PS3, and even fewer that would be good for a beginner. Final Fantasy XIII is pretty accessible. As for fighting games, I'm nuts for Tekken, and I think Tekken 6 is one of the best in the series, if not the best. You might also check out the upcoming Super Street Fighter IV. It only costs $40 and looks to be pretty excellent.PS3 owner here and I'm looking for two things, both are genres that I'm looking to get into but have never played:

If you know any games around the turn of the century it would help a ton.
So, I missed both of these games when they came out but now I think it may be time to buy one...so Battlefield Bad Company 2 or Bioshock 2? I was really psyched for Bioshock 2 when it was first coming out but after reading the reviews and seeing how fast its popularity faded I was a little disappointed. Is it really good but just didn't get the popularity it deserved? Also is Bad Company 2 different enough from Modern Warfare 2 because I'm pretty bored of it? Just making sure:)
Thanks for the answers in advance.
Bad Company 2 is fantastic! It is a very different experience from MW2. Most of the modes are objective based and they really require a lot more teamwork than MW2 did. It makes for a very fun experience. If you get it on the PS3 shoot me a friend request. My friends and I are playing it all the time. So, I missed both of these games when they came out but now I think it may be time to buy one...so Battlefield Bad Company 2 or Bioshock 2? I think Red Dead Redemption will be the better game by far. Prince of Persia, even if it turns out good, will probably be a much shorter and shallower game. Check out the Red Dead Redemption videos I posted earlier in the thread.:)Hey guys I was wondering which game I should buy on May 18.......Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands or Red Dead Redemption. If you guys can leave me a comment on which one i should buy and a reason why to buy it that would be great. THX.

I didn't mean to imply they were shallow, just that the game would be shorter and have less depth than RDR, simply because RDR looks huge. I like Prince of Persia just fine.:)[QUOTE="rragnaar"][QUOTE="zip645"]

Gears of War 2 GOTY edition or the orange box. Theres also the option of only buying tf 2 and a used copy of gow2 but i want the orange box and the goty edition so what should i get?
I'd say go for Gears of War 2. It's a great game all around and Horde mode is totally awesome. There's always a lot of people playing it so you'll always get into matches plus you can also play multiplayer offline with bots and friends. It's also great to play through campaign mode in co-op.Gears of War 2 GOTY edition or the orange box. Yes, but then again i beat the game once and plus i got the money for tf2 in the first place. But then again, my friends always tell me to get it...dude you should get the orange box. especially if you haven't played the half life games. I swear to god once I started playing those games. I couldn't stop. It is one of my favorite 360 games.Gears of War 2 GOTY edition or the orange box. Hey guys, I'm looking for some old retro action SNES and Genesis gaming, and would like some recommendations from all your old farts like me. I'm looking for side scrolling action, like Alien 3, Super Metroid, Choplifter, stuff like that. Here's what I have for the SNES so far:
...and a few more I may be missing. Here's my Genesis collection.
So what are some other good games I'm missing? I know there's a few out there. Thanks!
