Is gta5 really worth buying for next gen consoles??

It's tough to say....I've already beat the campaign and done a ton of side missions. I'm level 25 online soo unless there's some amazing feature other than looks, I wouldn't pay over $40 and I would wait until I got the other games I'm interested in this fall first.

if you already have the game for PS3 or X360 don't buy it for PC, PS4, or Xbox One. i got it for X360 and i'm definitely not going to spend that kind of money on the same game again when i get my PS4.

They are going to firstly need to bump up the framerate to near 60. I could not bear to play it at release because it lagged so badly. I haven't read about this in any improvement mentions, and if R* are deciding to up the visuals while letting the FR remain as is, they have their priorities seriously fucked up and I'll not support it.

Secondly, the police need to be patched. I could barely do anything and the game was no fun due to it. Kill a guy up on the mountain in the middle of nowhere, immediate 3-4 star level with cop cars and choppers on you in 1/2 a minute. Ridiculous.

I'll get the PC version most likely, as these changes will undoubtably have to be done by modders.

It'll be worth it for me as I skipped it on the consoles. I'll get as soon as it appears on Steam.

What is there to add There have been no paid DLC (aside from the pre-order Dlc and special edition Items which may be included though I'm unsure of this) The game does come with a ton of new stuff though. New weapons, cars, songs, wildlife.

No. Not worth getting for the newer consoles. Game is way over rated, and there are some great games out there that deserve your hard earned money.

Yes, it is good to buy GTA 5, compelling with characters to choose from, it is a rockstar game, it will do much more than simply port GTA 5. It will completely revamp the game from the ground up, with more realistic environments and terrains.
