Gamecube games....I need recommendations!

I'm a huge Pokemon and Harvest Moon fan, but I dislike A Wonderful Life and Colleseum. Right now I have Pokemon XD and HM: Magical Melody. I love these games, but is there anything similar to them that's not real time (like Animal Crossing)? I have a job and night school so it has to be something I can pick up and play even after months of no gaming.

I heard a rumour recently that Sony will do to the PS2, what was done to the PS1. Somebody told me they would be bringing out a really compact version so far i can only find the original or skinny ones, is it true they will be bringing them out? if so has anybody got an idea when they will be released? monkey_spak

I want to have a multiplayer racing gamefor PS2. I used to play High Stakes on my PS1 before in Cop chase mode. Me n my friends loved it. :)

Now I want something equal exciting. Can someone plz suggest me such game. It does not need to be cop chase game necessarily but should be a good racing game, plz just mention if it has such mode in it or not.

You don't like Nintendo franchises? As for gamecube exclusive games i would recommend The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime, Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros Melee. Third party games would be Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes, Resident Evil (Remake) and Soul Calibur II (feat. Link)

Has anyone but me played Indigo Prophecy? It was a physiological thriller so sorts. The game swaps between three distinction narritives, each relavint to the plot in its own right, but the plot as a whole only makes sence when each narritive has been completed.

The game is (as far I'm concerned) the paradigm of the "playable-movie" genre.

Yeah, I played Indigo Prophecy. the game was pretty good overall, despite what I thought were some story hang-ups at the end. i would defintatly reccommend it, especially if you can get it for less then 10 dollars.

I can personally recommend the Xenosaga series, which is really good, especially if you can get through the second one. Shadow is also a great game. Mana Khemia is a bit of a toss up. If you don't mind 2d graphics but enjoy fun rpgs, then try it out. The skill raising system was pretty neat, as you needed to use your alchemy skills to unlock new abilities. 

I also have the same question about black. I had thought I had heard it was good, but I don't know.

You will be missing out if youdon't play th Ratchet and Clank series; all of the games in the series are awesome. Sly Cooper is pretty good; you should get it if you find it cheap, the first Jak game is pretty good, but tht's the only one I ever played, so the other ones could certainly be better. Never really played any of the other games, though.

Yes I totally agree with hulk ultimate destruction being on the xobx list. Even though it got 8's mainly I consider it one of the best games for the console. Amazing graphics, 1080i support(OMG), Bass-heavy sound effects, and stellar gameplay.

I was gonna get Bully and San Andreas, but I can't find San Andreas anywhere, (curse you Jack Thompson!) so I was looking for a few others. why does everyone talk about Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank. am i missing something? i started playing Tomb Raider Anniversary, i used to play the original TR, and i find it to be pretty good platforming. i also dont really understand the GTA craze, arent they all the same game pretty much?

Non-random rpg I'd say Final Fantasy XII

I like it prolly should rent it 1st since it's a new battle system than other FFs.

I'd say alot better than FFX-2 meh I would died caz I was waiting to use Hi-potion -.-;

Dynasty Warriours 3? or 4 I perfer 3 tho and on very hard mode It's a hack n' slash game set in han dynasty around the great fights of the 3 kingdoms to take over all of china. They made mannnny seques but I found 3 to be well rounded you can prolly find videos of it on youtube see if you like it
