I didn't think the enw dungeons were boring. They were decent. Far form the best parts of the game but decent.

I think I did Marle an Chrono's power up dungeon.. I think... Its been a while. I also got pretty far in the fretch quest dungeon but that's the one I got really board with.

I mean to each their own, I slagged my way through the tower of Druga in Tales of Destiny so I'm not one to condemn others for repetitive games :p

[QUOTE="MAILER_DAEMON"]The DS version, due to the extra content, let me get each character to level ** after 3 playthroughs. I finally feel like I did all I could in the game, though I couldn't care less about the monster arena (sadly, it's the only place they added Battle 2).turtlethetaffer

Holy smokes you beat all that extra dungeon! Jebus I have played less boring Korean MMO's

Grats though, I always wanted to get Ayla up there for the 9999 damage, but I doubt I ever will.

I didn't think the enw dungeons were boring. They were decent. Far form the best parts of the game but decent.

The Lost Sanctum, though it had some interesting ideas, was WAAAAAAAAY too repetitive to be fun, especially since you'd have to trudge all the way back to the Epoch to get anything done, every single time you hit a roadblock. The Dimensional Vortexes were randomized enough to be mixed up each time, and I loved the "final" areas in each of them: exploring a 12,000BC mountain on the lone manned island, a volcano in the game's present age, and the Temporal Research Lab, which all but says that it's an alternate Chronopolis. Plus, they added some new plot details that explained some unexplained things from Chrono Cross, and the game's new secret boss finally gave me the chills that I should have had when I fought the Time Devourer.

Definitely one of the games that deserves all the acclaim it gets. I've enjoyed it every time I've played through.

I also really enjoyed Chrono Cross but I think CT was the better game overall.

Damn you Square-Enix, Y U NO CHRONO BREAK!!!!!

One thing that absolutely blows my mind about Chrono Trigger was how awesome the double and triple techs were.  Despite some falling on opposite sides of the spectrum (underwhelming, not so great to wtf this is awesome and wow that's overpowered as fvck) I couldn't resist trying so many different party combinations to see all the techs the game had to offer.

Of course, my favorite team ended up being Chrono, Ayla and Robo.  Falcon Strike was hnnnngggnnghh good as well as bad-ass looking and Twister was downright broken.

Chrono Cross was awesome too, but I agree that Chrono Trigger is better. Both amazing games though.
