Im not going to quote everything again, but "multiplayer feels taked on" doesnt tell me about the value of the game. This is a single player game first, hows the Value. I could care less about multiplayer. "amazing voice work"....ok, hows the sound im going to be hearing 90% of the time.

Obviously it works well enough for the game, since there's not a medal for it. Not bad, but not superb, is how I'd interpret the lack of a medal.

[QUOTE="HiResDes"]

we are basically customers of the website even though most of us aren't subscribers, as we generate a lot of the hits that GS gets, which increases the amount of money they get from sponsors.

While that's true...from what I've heard, the vast, vast majority of traffic to this website isn't based from us forumites, in actuality. Not saying that the forum posters aren't important, but the ones who are most vocally against the system make up a very, very small percentage of the people who visit/use the website, from my understanding.

Obviously the majority of visits to the site are from people who dont post on the forum, but i'd argue that the percentage of people who repeatedly visit gamespot (ie: daily) who post on the forums is not very, very small. I'd say the majority of people that visit the site are people that visit to check something once a month, once every two months, ect...and then use it to check a review, of which many of them lazily only check the score and summary on top.

I really think Gamespot needs to run a poll on their site where users can vote on whether they like or dont like the new system. I'm willing to bet this very very small vocal minority is more sizable than they'd think.

From what I've gathered from my discussions, I was more or less told that if the numbers were given out regarding that, most of the users who seem to think that the forums contribute as heavily to the traffic as they claim would be 'unplesantly surprised' by what the numbers actually said, more or less.

I know this new review system was to make reviews come out faster but it doesn't seem like it took like a month for a bad army of two review almost 20% lower than users opinions. OLD RATING SYSTEM IS SUPERIOR. Minus the reviewers tilt.
