Gamers
Yes I hate gamers the most. I hate the ones that say how the olden days were better and then throw their age into it and their first game like everyone is supposed to just gasp in amazent, back away and sit indian styled while they tell us stories about how Ninja Gaiden for the NES was the best game ever. Sorry you're living in the olden days. games like Shoot Em Ups (i refuse to use that dumb ass shortening of the genre. No other genre is that useless where it can't be reduced to a nice acronym. RPG's aren't rolplagers and FPS's aren't firpersho's) died for a reason. It's because if you've played one you've played them all and they never evolved. Some things don't have to evolve, like sharks. Sharks are kick ass, games where you fly dumb little ships and avoid as many little dots flying at you as the processor can do aren't kick ass.
I hate labels. I'm "hardcore", this game doesn't feel "next gen", this system has 14 "AAA" games the other system only has 11. These are all stupid measurements that don't mean a thing.
The only hardcore gamers I know about are dead or in jail, yes those are the people that played MMORPG's until they passed away or people that got their games taken away or systems broke and they killed people for it. That's pretty $%^&ing hardcore. Anyone after a while can memorize the button presses on a fake guitar or how many dots are flying at you next...but would you kill your little brother if he walked infront of your screen and messed you up while you were doing it? No because you're all normal gamers.
Next Gen isn't a level of quality, it's a series of consoles. If games were to be Next Gen they'd cost $600, break down on us at the worst times while our grandma's are flapping their arm flaps away.
AAA, AA, A? People seriously use these to judge which systems are better. These are the same people that write topics and blogs about how every review in the world is wrong if Tony Hawk Pro Barber doesn't get the exact point tenth of a score they expected the game to get.
Achievement whores. quit $%^&ing up my online experience just so you can hear a little pop and you get 25 more points. If you just played the game like a normal human being you would get the same number of points unexpectedly 4-5 games from now. But no, you have to run out and get the game on day 1 and then spend the next week racking up grenade kills. Stores like EBgames should keep track of gamer cards and if they see a bunch of online, weapon specific achievements in a row, but those guys on a waiting list.
