[QUOTE="prankster_33"]DUCK HUNT :lol:Chaism
Well considering the game really does get hard towards the later stages around 60 I believe. When every shot has to be right on or you lose it does get pretty stressful. And once you reach the stage where the ducks turn invisible on you just put down the Zapper and go home. Duck Hunt is my vote for hardest game as well.
Is that stuff really true or are you f'ing with us?Devil May Cry 3. For a person (AKA me :P) who, on average, beats a rental in 1-2 days, this game took me the full week.Video_Game_King
Are you kidding? I beat that game in like 10 hours...
Anywho...the hardest game for me would probably be ninja gaiden
SimCity. Think about it.DarkCatalyst
And Simfarm, no matter how much money or property I got, I couldn't win. I had a lot of almond fields so inside i win
[QUOTE="Hyper_Zone"]I'm kind of embarrassed to say this, but I had quite a few headaches trying to get through MegaMan II on the GameBoy.The_ZoidDon't be embarrassed, it's a difficult game, especially woodman, he's a pain in the ass.
You guys must be joking. I found that game to be extremely easy, Wood Man took four swift metal blades and hit the bucket, or about 30 regular shots.
I will say Mega Man: Dr. Wily's Revenge was hard, I don't even know what the deal was with Ice Man andi Fire Man's level.
Ninja Gaiden on the NES will make you claw at your eyeballs.GodModeEnabled
I'll take Ninja Gaiden over Ninja Gaiden III any day of the week. Ninja Gaiden was a pain to be sure but at least you got unlimited continues. Ninja Gaiden III gave you 5 continues. After that it was "try again from the beginning, sucker!".
...................Stupid flying machines.
I gotta say, COD3 on veteran just makes you scream. Damn snipers....
That, and it makes me ashamed to say that sometimes, on Destroy All Humans 2, I've failed loads of missions on the first few times, because it just spams you with hundreds of tanks, and sometimes you have to escort people who just insist on running head first into the crossfire, then when you die trying to protect them, or they get a disintigrator through the head, you have to go riiiiight back to the start, no checkpoints. It's not so much hard, just damn annoying....
Pac-man...klusps
LOL, I totally agree and I hope you're not joking because I'm not. I must be the worst Pac-Man player in the world or something, I can barely beat the first level if I'm lucky... and I'm usually really good at games.
Great list, I've played many of these and would agree with most of them. Ikaruga and Gradius V are both tough as nails. Take the hardest game you've played (post PS1 anyway) and chances are those two games chew it up and spitit back out again. The games eventually grant unlimited replay, so they might not be the right answer to OP's question because eventually you will get to the ending. But getting to the end isn't the point of those games as much as it is getting a high score. If you think you're good at games -- try beating those two before the unlimited replay happens, or better yet without using a continue. There's probably only a few people in the world that could do the latter.
F-Zero GX is probably the only game I ever stopped playing because of difficulty, esp. the story mode. Then of course there's the old-school arcade quarter munchers like Gauntlet and Robotron 2084.
i'm sure it's not the hardest but i had trouble playing BIOSHOCK. i still havn't beaten it. its difficult as well as hard to continue playing cuz some parts get way too boring.
sorry i repeated the messages when i pressed enter twice i got written twice well the toughest games arenoucturne or GOW2
