Ghosts 'n' goblins, defenitly. I havn't been challenged by a game coming out after 2003.FoodThing00
Not sure when it came out but what about Shinobi on ps2? I thought the last boss in that game was such a pain in the tukhas and the game over all was hard.
What about Guitar Hero II on expert?
ghost n goblins was hard, but so was Contra with out the 30 lives cheat. I also thought Punch Out was hard. Ninja Gaiden on the xbox was challenging but not that hard.
That stupid boss in Silent Hill 3-4 forgot which but she was on the Merrygoround.
I think the HARDEST GAME TO BEAT IS KARATE KID  IT'S A REAL PAIN when your playing it!Tavares17
Because that game was broken lol. I think The Angry Nintendo Nerd did an episode on that.
i'm sure it's not the hardest but i had trouble playing BIOSHOCK. i still havn't beaten it. its difficult as well as hard to continue playing cuz some parts get way too boring.digxxbitty
I played Viewtiful Joe all the way up to the hardest mode, using Captain Blue, and let me tell you -- it was not easy at all. Even the pattern hints for bosses like Fire Leo were removed. I've always considered that to be one of my greatest achievements in gaming.
I've said this before, though, and I'll say it again -- the hardest game I ever played was Siren. It required almost infinite patience to site-jack those Shibito and memorize their patrolling patterns well enough to escape.
