who did you find out about first mario or sonic?

i found out about sonic first. sonic the hedgehog 2 was the first videogame i ever played on. man i miss those megadrive days:(

i was born in 1994 so i was like 3 when i first played mario on NES and i played SEGA GENESIS like 3 years after that.

Now that I think about I was WAY behind on gaming

Mario first. My first mario game was Super mario bros 3.

I think the first game I played was a mario game at my cousin's house, then a few months later I got a genesis with Sonic for my birthday.

I heard of Mario since 1985 at the arcades and about Sonic until November 1993 when I started buying EGM.

before I was even born my dad had a NES and super mario bros when I got to at east 2 years old I was able to play it and ever since ive always liked mario but lets not forget about sonic my first experience with a sonic game is when my cousin used to bring his sega genesis over to play b/c I only had a super nintendo I think it was sonic 2

Mario, he was around for years before Sonic. It was cool though when Sega got their own flag ship, til they started that ridiculous blast processing ad campaign.

Mario; my parents were NES gamers; so I played Super Mario Bros practically before I knew how to walk XD I guess that's why I still play mostlyold-school games. However;I do love the older Sonic games as well; including the Adventure series.

Seeing as how my family got an NES a year after I was born, Super Mario Bros was way ahead of Sonic for me.

Mario. As far back as my memory goes. Sonic wasn't even invented when I played Super Mario Bros.

Game wise I knew about Mario wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy before Sonic, I had Mario on NES and original Gameboy. But I watched that old Sonic the Hedgehog show so I knew who Sonic was.

Learned about Mario first then 10 minutes later Sonic
