[QUOTE="sticky5fingaz"]

I appologize if this has been done, idk why I have a feeling it has...

Anyways, out of NES, SNES (God Forbid someone says it), N64, GCN, which do you guys think wasn't as good as it's brothers

Before you post:

PLEASE have a reason

Don't flame Gamecube for not being online. You know it, I know it, IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ONLINE

No Fanboys!!!!!

So I think it's n64. Why? Sure, it was the first 3D nintendo, it had some great games, but it's the only set of games that I don't go back to. It's probably because you can find upgraded versions of games like SSB and the mario sports games, but still...When it first came out, I was never addicted to the games like I was with GCN and SNES.

Gate0001

I think it's the Virtual Boy. The only thing I didn't like about the N64 is the weird controller design. One of the weirdest I've seen.

But wasn't it the first to have analog sticks?

Man... I rememeber forcing myself to play that after I got it for Christmas so my parents wouldn't think they wasted their money.

Although it wasn't mentioned, I'll say the Wii.Yameneko549
Agreed. C'mon, a majority of the games look like they should be on the Gamecube. :? It's got very unimpressive online play in most of the games that support it too. I mean it works, but there are almost no options when it comes to online multiplayer. It's one of the biggest let downs for me personally.

However, the absolute WORST is without a doubt the Virtual Boy

I own four Nintendo consoles- NES, SNES, N64, and Gamecube. My pick- N64 because it lacked RPG, and fighting games.DeafNYCPlayer

I think that's why I said n64 as well and also why snes is my favorite. the RPG factor.

Wii in 2008 was also a good point. I bought 2 games this past year (Brawl and City Folk) and I like them both, but 2 good games really isn't enough. I honestly don't know how the sales are so good.

VIRTUAL BOY DOESN'T COUNT. WE ALL KNOW IT'S AWFUL, IT'S NOT EVEN UP FOR CONTRADICTION.

Was that the best they had? The wireless controller didn't become close to standard with that and although it was an introduction, it's no where near as innovative or influential as the Wii remote or N64 joystick.

But wasn't it the first to have analog sticks?

Didn't the Philips CD-i have an analog thumbstick beforehand, nevermind the fact that the controller said analog stick was on as well as the system itself...well, sucked? And, even way before that, the Vectrex? (Too bad nothing really used the analog aspect back then.) Also, if you're just talking analog joysticks in general rather than mere twiddlysticks on gamepads, there was the Atari 5200 controller (if the damn thing works) and the original IBM PC joystick interface (which was analog as opposed to the digital Atari VCS/2600-style joysticks that the Amiga, Atari ST, etc. used).

Anyone who doesn't say Virtual Boy didn't have a Virtual Boy...

Man... I rememeber forcing myself to play that after I got it for Christmas so my parents wouldn't think they wasted their money.

Fredrick2003x
Actually, I'm thinking that most people who say Virtual Boy haven't even played the damn thing, given how unpopular it was and still is. Yes, it's probably the worst of all Nintendo platforms from the Famicom/NES onward, no debating that. Very limited game library (partially due to very short support), not really portable (more like a tabletop console that could run on batteries), and the only colors were red and black (though a full-color display in 1995 would have made the price rather astronomical). However, I get the general notion that a lot of complaints about it just happen to be FUD blown out of proportion and largely uncorrected by those with actual experience, particularly the headache issues. (Did you ever get a headache using the thing?)

GC, so mediocre and did almost nothing to trump over the competition- graphics worse than XB, no online, and weak library. Of course N64 couldn't compete against PS1, but at least it offered some games and experiences that the PS1 couldn't come close to due to the superior graphics and multiplayer.

Well if you don't count virtual boy, or the fact htat the wii is fuel for garbage, N64 because it's poorly designed controller, persistent use of cartridges that crippled it's graphical advantage so that it's games till looked inferior to the majority of PS1 games (because of textures).

It's sort of hard for me to choose. I'd say the only GOOD Nintendo consoles (not counting handhelds) were the Famicom/NES and Super Famicom/SNES. Nintendo should just stick to handhelds, it's what the do best.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Neither I nor my brother have ever gotten a headache from playing it. The only people I know who have ever had issues playing it are people with extremely strong eyeglass prescriptions, like my dad and my friend. But I think it's an awesome little system, it's totally worth the $70 or so to get and and play some of the awesome games it has, especially Galactic Pinball, Wario Land, and Mario Tennis. It's a shame that most people just go by what they hear rather than give the system a chance themselves...

I really dont understand why everybody is hating on the N64. I guess it didn't have RPGs but so what? There are other games on there that are really great like Zelda OoT and MM, and also the first 3D mario was a big deal back then, and also it was probably the first major consle to have 4 players playing at once, and the first major console to have an anolog stick. C'mon, seriously, many people belive that Zelda OoT was the greatest game ever made, not to mention other great games like Banjo Kazooie, Goldeneye 007, and more. Another thing is that I don't see why some people don't like the Wii either. I think it's a great consle because you can download old classics on the Wii Shop Channel, and plus, it does have really great games too like Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Zelda Twilight Princess, Mario Kart Wii, and others. I really can't say that the Virtual Boy was the worst console because I was not alive when it came out. I can say that the Game Boy Micro was the worst cause of releasing it after everybody was playing their new DSs with touch screens. No one was gonna buy the Micro unless children's parents were too cheap to buy them a cool new DS for Christmas that year. I mean, the DS can play Game Boy Advance games, so really, the Micro was a bad handheld.

I would have to say the Virtual Boy, not because it had only a few games, or the fact that it gave you a headache after half an hour, no I say the V.B. because it destroyed the credibility of "true 3D" gaming and if you ask yourself "what if" you end up wondering what level of virtual reality we could be experiencing today if the technology had been successful. Imagine if you could play MGS4 through the eyes of Old Snake...

Virtual Boy

Panasonic 3DO

Phillips CDi

Dreamcast (RIP little fella...)

...COMBINED! Now that's really something.

Can I say the CD-I even though it was supposed to be an add-on for the SNES, and it was developed by philips for Nintendo? I mean come on, it was just a stupid gimick for nintendo to get into the disc craze. When they denied sony the deal they created the playstation in effect. Hold on a tick, I don't know whether or not the CD-I was awesome or terrible. On the one hand, it gave way for those two link games, faces of evil and the wand of gaeda or whatever. Those scared me. But, on the other hand it helped to make sony what it is today.... Darn it now I'm confused....

I did have a Virtual Boy though, and it was very headache inducing... But I would agree that sometimes people just parrot what they hear and never have any firsthand experience themselves.

But you also mentioned that it happened alot to people with strong eye glass perscriptions. I have one of those, so that is probobly why.

Anybody who said the Wii is just trolling, you can play every Gamecube game on the Wii (which also means that people who said the Gamecube should have said the Wii) as well as some really great Wii games. Not to mention the fact that you can download a considerable amount of games that cost $50 or so for past game systems for around $5 or $8.

I would personally have to say the gameboy micro and the Virtual boy. believe it or not the virtual boy woulda actually been a good "portable" if it would of been on the market a little more and the micro was just horrible cuz of the L+R triggers on the top were hard to press and so were the start and select buttons also plus I have big fingers so its impossible for me to play with it so i gave it to my bro

i never had any hashes with VB and i loved my Gamecube... the only system i will not play for ages is my SNES. (ive actually played VB, im not just some ignorant bias) i mean... DK and SMW were good... but now the GBA has the new versions, wich add alot more game. i just find everything on the SNES really easy... the only game i really liked playing was A Link To The Past, and even then you have 4 swords and ALttP. im sure for its time was great but i had a Sega genesis, wich i loved. now if you wanna play the SNES, you get a GBA or DS, the VC and the SNES are pointless, when the GBA has revamped versions of all the games.

All I read was the title. The Wii is the worst. I see nothing but a bunch of no innovation sequels, rehashes, and half assed shovelware. All that games that are worth owning for the Wii I can count with the fingers on one hand.

i would say the wii is the worst. the only good games on it are basically rip-offs of previous games that were on gamecube/n64.

There are other games on there that are really great like Zelda OoT and MM, and also the first 3D mario was a big deal back then, and also it was probably the first major consle to have 4 players playing at once, and the first major console to have an anolog stick. C'mon, seriously, many people belive that Zelda OoT was the greatest game ever made, not to mention other great games like Banjo Kazooie, Goldeneye 007, and more.ShockT

"Wow"

Although I did enjoy Super Mario 64, it's one of the few games for the system that I still hold in high regard.

Another thing is that I don't see why some people don't like the Wii either. I think it's a great consle because you can download old ****cs on the Wii Shop Channel, and plus, it does have really great games too like Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Zelda Twilight Princess, Mario Kart Wii, and others.

It's obvious that Nintendo have decided to live off of their former glory and play it safe by making sequels for their popular franchises. The games you just listed are all sequels. But go ahead and praise the system. I don't care. To me it's trash that would be interesting to me, only, if I had no previous experience of games and consoles whatsoever.

Which would make the Wii bad, because the NES, SNES, Genesis and TurboGrafx 16 / PC Engine already plays the majority of it's good games. Why be cheap and buy a Wii to download them on the VC on some emulator? Talking about cheap: Yeah, to think they actually charge for 15-20 year old games too. What a lousy system.

Virtual Boy was awesome. What are you guys talking about? I got a virtual boy and all the games at a yard sale for 15 dollars. I play it all day. Mario tennis, pinball, that game where you shoot stuff. It was all great. I mean sure every now and then I would have to pop a advil or three for the migraines, but hey no tumors yet. So its all good.
