And welcome to the GS User Fellowship Union :)Seems kind of barren in here. No introductions for ourselves or anything? You should make the new officers and leader do a quick introduction so that new people won't feel like they're the only ones introducing themselves, and so they know that there's been a recent shift in power and who the power resides with now.
End of opinion.
Good idea Jandurin, maybe we should spin this thread a bit. I hope Fuzz is ok with me editing his post.Seems kind of barren in here. No introductions for ourselves or anything? Hello all you members, I am BlazeDragon132 or Blake Sessums as I am called in my real life. I am a senior in high school about to go to MSU. My gaming interests range from retro to modern. My favorite games have been the Kingdom Hearts and Phoenix Wright series. I absolutely love the idea of dragons. They are fierce and brutal, yet are kind and gentle enough to be tamed by people.
I am working on THIS website called Bonus Stage. It basically is trying to bring video games in a fresh and new prespective not having to be based on hype and graphics, but about how fun a game tends to play. It is also community based, meaning that it will be based on user input. Right now, it is mostly complete, just need a template and staff. I would be glad if anyone wants to apply.
I will still think about GUFU though, I have been here for almost a whole year, and I think we can expand alot more. ;)
I'm Matt, everyone hates me. Yeah, people say I'm funny. In my off time, I enjoy wavig my penis at incoming traffic, and screaming"FREE BIRD!" at peoplearber91Has it....ever been hit? :P Not that I'm aware of. Although it did come close once.

Oh no, it's cool.
Hi all, I'm fuzz. I love to talk politics, love to talk philosophy, and love to game (but I never have time to do the latter these days). You can usually find me posting here or at SW.

LMAO! that was hilarious, and yet I still hate you... >_> lol j/k
My username is WickeeKing. I was the 11th or 17th member to join the GUFU (I think it was 11th but might be 17th). I think I'm a cool guy, but if you ask anyone else, they'll probably tell you otherwise - yes I'm also a mess of insecurities :P
I'm not a huge game player, it doesn't take up much of my time - I just happen to enjoy talking about the videogame industry and in particular, Nintendo. I've owned every Nintendo home console except the Virtual Boy. I recently bought a DSLite which is the first handheld console I've ever bought. I'm Australian and I'm in University studying Law/Commerce. And I just found out that you can go out and have a huge night out with only $6.00.
Tell me more! :PAnd I just found out that you can go out and have a huge night out with only $6.00.

Hi all, I'm the very best. I think I'm pretty awesome. Yeah, narcissist and proud of it. You'll usually find me in SW. Well, you'll always find me in there, I practically have a thread every day there. GUFU is the main union I post in (love it).
I love my Sony consoles and am looking forward to getting a PS3. I own like a lot of systems but atm I'm playing my PS2/DS the most. Sony = #1 in consoles, Nintendo = #1 in handhelds. My favourite series is the best series ever made, Grand Theft Auto. I'm currently anxiously anticipating GTAIV. My fav game is FFVII - I think GTAIV will knock it off the top.
I'm Australian! Live in Melbourne, best city in the world. Um, what else is there...I'm a pretty nice guy, easy to get along with, if you don't like me I don't really care. Been a member of GUFU since Feb 3 2007 and am looking forward to sticking around and chilling with some very cool people here.
Uh... hello.
I... like... to... uh... use ellipses. I also like gaming--the reason why I'm on this site. I also have a passion for PC hardware because PC hardware is super awesome. More awesome than--dare I say it?--the O RLY? bird (oh mah gawd, he said it!).
I live in California because I was born there, and I am currently going to high school.
Never heard of this union before, but my first impressions of it are positive. I'll try to be active here as much as possible.
EDIT: Oh, and one more thing: Muse is the best band ever.
No wai! Ellipses... Really? ... I think... you might be... overstating your... how do I say... "like"... of these "ellipses". :wink:Uh... hello.

Welcome to the union Einhander. :)
Hello GUFU!
Iyethar is the name of an Ethengar horse warrior from the original D&D setting of Mystara. I've been playing games of all descriptions from a young age and have a deep and abiding love for gaming in any form it expresses itself.
I'm 27 years old, and I live in Marina, CA. My favorite authors of fiction include Terry Pratchett, Stephen R. Donaldson, Neil Stephenson, Douglas Adams and Chuck Palahniuk. My favorite non-fiction book is "Godel, Escher, Bach: an Eternal Golden Braid" by Douglas Hofstatder.
I know that's just a taste of an introduction, but I'm looking forward to getting to know GUFU better. I'm glad to be invited.
Hello.
I got an invite and checked to see what the union is about. I still don't know what it's about, but i see some familar faces here so i just joined.
I'm 21 years old and i'm about to graduate with engineering and japanese (hopefully :P ).
Likes anime, manga, games, japanese drama and american tv series. I'm a jack-of-all trades when it comes to sports but a master of none. I like playing acoustic guitar every so often but i haven't touched it in yonks.
I started gaming a lot when Game Gear came out. Played extensively on the SNES and N64, but i took a break and haven't gamed as much for a few years. I'm looking to get back in; you could say i'm stuck in last gen since i've built up a list of games i need to complete on the N64, PS, DC, PS2, GC and Xbox.
Anyway, that's my brief introduction. yoroshiku ne!
Terry Pratchet: I've heard good things about Discworld. (I read all the Xanth books, which I hear are similar, but perhaps more... immature?).My favorite authors of fiction include Terry Pratchett, Stephen R. Donaldson, Neil Stephenson, Douglas Adams and Chuck Palahniuk.
Iyethar
Stephen R. Donaldson: Read all the Chronicles of Thomas Covenant: The Unbeliever. Believe it or not, I gained my most understanding for leprosy from all that. And I read the Mirror of Her Dreams.
Neal Stephenson: I've read, Snow Crash (great...), Zodiac (toxic spiderman ftw!), and Cryptomicon (where I learned about the Enigma ;)).
Douglas Adams - I mean, he's great. Gotta love the hitchhiker.
Chuck Palahniuk did Fight Club, right? That's the only one I've read of him.
You should read Richard Adams: Watership Down. (Not because it's my favorite book or anything, but I saw the movie the other day, and it's on my brain).
Oh, and welcome. I know a lot more about fiction novels than obscure details about video games, to be honest :P.
Likes anime, american tv series.
Pangster007
Greetings! Which? I'm currently reading the Berserk manga series, and that's my first. I've watched plenty of american tv and anime, though. :P

I've watched plenty of american tv and anime, though. :P I've been stocking up on anime for after the exams. I watched Berserk but i haven't read it, it's a good anime especially if you like your violent content.
Currently watching Rozen Maiden, i keep up with Naruto on a weekly basis and have been stocking up on Bleach for a marathon run.
Currently reading Death Note manga and finished reading Ichigo 100%.
I've been neglecting american tv shows lately, but i watched 24, smallville, lost, prison break. I've heard good things about Heroes, so i'm interested in watching that next.
Welcome Pangster, glad you could make it. :) -Spock-:D Thanks.
I support Heroes. It's my favorite series that's started since 2000, probably.
Make that since 2002. Firefly started then, and I like that more still.

Even I have got further than the anime and I stopped reading nigh on a year ago. Crazy filler season! In the manga I got up to the bit where
Naruto is fighting Ochimaru on a Bridge and losing control of the Nine Tails Fox
There are many of us.I didn't read the manga, i was planning on doing so but i felt there were other stuff i'd rather watch/read. I might start reading it later, but i still need to read Harry Potter. That's right, i bought the book when it was released and haven't got round to reading it, we can already preorder the next book!I read the Manga for a while but I much prefer the anime so I stopped.

Pfft. Noob. I read Harry Potter within a few days of its release. ;)
My parents, sisters, and girlfriend all read it, so I have access to it easily, and I read faster than them, so they're willing to let me blaze through it before they read it.
I am SpruceCaboose, real name Jake. I am an aspring Psych/Computer Science double major with hopes of one day ruling the world...or at least making more than the pitance I do now!
I mostly play on the 360 (Currently Guitar Hero 2 and Rainbow Six, GT is SpruceCaboose if you want to add me!), though I also own a Wii, and many older systems. I frequent System Wars, and I like to argue with a few specific trolls.

Before I post spoilers, I'm gonna make sure that
This works.
It does. IT'S SPOILER TIME FOLKS!
Naruto beocmes four tailed, Sai's real goal is to kill Sasuke, we meet Sasuke again, Naruto lives. Asuma dies, Shikamaru starts smoking. Two new Akatuski members show up. One is immortal with a ritual that hurts the enemy whenever he's attacked. THe other is a sewn up guy with 5 hearts that can blast people with elemental attacks once they come off. Naruto learns a new jutsu that can damage his arm forever that kills the sewn up guy, so it's forbidden. The immortal guy gets blown into a hole by Shikamaru and is buried alive. Kurenai is pregnant. Sasuke took control of Orochimaru via the Sharingan. He forms a team of a water guy who can enlarge his muscles, a girl who loves Sasuke and can track down people's chakra, and a guy who can turn crazy because his enzymes are the source of the curse seal. Both Naruto's team and Sauske's team are about to go after Itachi.
Xanth isn't a patch on Discworld, IMO. Pratchett is better not only with the puns but with everything more substantive as well. You're correct that Xanth is more immature. It was designed to be immature, and one big clue is that the world is named after the author. Who does that?
That said, I've read about a third of Xanth as well as the incarnations of immortality and most of the "Mode" books. Piers is a weird guy.
Do yourself a favor and get yourself a copy of "Guards! Guards!" or "Wyrd Sisters" and go from there. Discworld is awesome.
Stephen R. Donaldson: Read the Gap cycle. I think you'd dig it.
Neal Stephenson: Thanks for spoiling Zodiac for me, you nit. :P
Douglas Adams: May he rest in peace.
Chuck P.: The best thing Chuck Palahniuk has written that isn't Fight Club is probably Diary.
I'll keep Watership Down in mind. I've meant to read it for some time but have never prioritized it.

Its a combination name, part taken from that Simpson's, with the Spruce Moose, part from the Episode where Marge gets a job at the Plant...
Waiter: The SpruceCaboose, the biggest, most expensive train ever built. Some said it was too big to stay on the tracks.
[Points to a picture of the train lying on its side and chuckles]

And part is from Red vs Blue, the character Caboose. I like him. I should have explained, as everyone always asks, especially on XBL.

Hey, I'm Mutenpika, or Scott Longstaff as the unwashed masses call me. I'm pretty laid-back and I chuckle at a lot of things people say. I try be logical in my reasoning, friendly in my relations, outgoing in my conversation, and funny all day, every day. Well, I try, at least. Cut me some slack!
I'm random quite often and joke around a lot. I find that humor helps put myself and everyone around me at ease, and thus I consider it one of the most important tools for interpersonal relationships on this earth.
I try to be active, and I'm often browsing this forum. I just don't think of anything to post. I guess I should be more relaxed about it.
Finally, I'm a devout Mormon.

I have been invited and I'm kinda surprise. My name is Kevin but call me Kev. I will built a business on eBay soon after I get more positive feedback but I haven't planned on what product I'm actually gonna sale or which wholesalers to buy from. Perhaps I go to more details soon until I'm really finished with my plans. My favorite console is the NES and I rarely even play any of the new consoles. As of now PC gaming is what I have been doing. The reason why I have the word Unreal in "Kev_Unreal" is no mystery, it's just one of my favorite series made by Epic Games called; Unreal.
I don't know how to describe myself, um, maybe I'm outgoing, trusting, friendly? That's about it I guess.

As long as you don't go knocking on my door, that is all good.
I remember in my old school, I went to the gas station to pick up breakfast when they came to my car and gave me stuff. I was thinking "I am Christian, and going to school. Why are you stopping me from going?"
But I just nodded the whole time :P
