Ah, BBS "Door" games. BRE isn't ringing any bells for me, does that stand for something?

I was more about Usurper and TW2002, but I played LORD as well.

I remember Usurper. only played it a little though. BRE (Barons Realms Elite) was similar to Solar Realms Elite.

People make that mistake with enough frequency that I never bother to correct anyone over it. I'd never be stopping.

Me too. I guess I say it more like Eye-thar now than Lie-thar. It wasn't until I looked at the members and didn't see him under the 'L' users. I went and checked the 'I's... because it was the only option left.Jandurin

I feel like a total nerd for discussing the pronunciation of a fantasy name I invented, but if you want to get technical it's a long "E" sound at the beginning.  "ee-yeh-thar".

All I remember is leaving System Wars around E3 last year, then sometime during the summer (according to my PlayStation.com account, about mid-June), I pretty much left Gamespot except for the Union and then I just left the Union and came back a few months later and now, I just drop in from time to time...:?

I'm a gamer of fifteen years (19 years old),love oldschool PC gaming, and have a leaning towards the 360 this gen. Not to say I'm totally biased towards it, though. As soon as MGS4 and SSBB come out for their respective consoles, I'm gonna be there with about $1,000 in hand. Anyways, proud gamer and geek.

Well, I don't really know what to say, but here goes...

I decided to apply to this union as it's stance is very close to my own: gaming is about the games, not what system you play them on. Though I'm sure there is still bias here, from what I've seen the members are a bit more rational about it. ;) I'm actually surprised I was accepted as I've only be a member here for a few months, but I'm thankful nonetheless.
