[QUOTE="BrooklynHotBoy"][QUOTE="Jaysonguy"][QUOTE="BrooklynHotBoy"] today, it seems as though miyamoto doesn't know anything about games.

Yeah, that new Wii Fit that's currently on pace to sell 2 million units this week or next while only being released in one region.
I'm very confused to how you see his ideas as bad.
So losing
his touch means great game and huge seller? So in your book does having the touch mean not doing well?
wow. all these faulty assumptions
I'm saying his ideas suck because they aren't creative. hes smart in a business sense because he knows whatever he spits out people will buy no matter how bad of quality and simple it is. he doesn't take chances anymore or make anything innovating. what he puts out isnt great, in my opinion. all these games i find to be redundant and overwhelmingly boring. I currently own more 3rd party games for my wii than first party.
Just because wii fit is different doesn't make it innovative to me (i dont even really consider it a game either). if you go to the gym they have treadmills that have a screen which displays a 3d simulator where your on riding your bike on the road as nature and other bikers pass you by. they also have a rowing machine like that. thats more intense than push ups or yoga on some board.
by losing his touch i mean hes not trying anymore. hes not creativity. this has nothing to do with sales. this has to do with exploitation of "simple" gamers which in turn makes other gamers suffer.
what are you, 13/14?! the man single handedly saved video games! he created mario and zelda. he created games as we know it. until you realize that, think before you speak!
I was just about to say that. Think of all the great games he brought us. If you're going to start dissing miyamoto then it's only fair that you stop playing every mario, zelda, donkey kong, starfox, smash brothers and mario kart game because I guess they just aren't up to your high standards.
