[QUOTE="muppetpornstar"]so now our current wiimotes are about to become obsolutestkr
I think you mean obsolete, and no. The Wii Motion Plus still requires the wii controller to function, which is why it's an attachment. You couldn't add buttons to it and call it a wii controller because there's more tech. in the wand that is required to play.
in the conference they are saying that future wiimotes might have wii motion plus built in so it wont be an attachment anymore
essentially making it required to upgrade all wiimotes for future games
"Miyamoto briefly goes over the basics that he discussed at the press conference: Other rhythm games require precise matching of notes, but they were trying for something different"
In other words: Other rythym games are fun and rewarding. We decided to take out the challenge and satisfaction, and let the game play for you!
7:07 Miyamoto chooses Yankee Doodle, a "perfect song for an American audience." The hamminess continues!

LMAO! My thoughts exactly.
Animal Crossing, Wii Sports: Resort, and Wii Music was the 3 first party Wii titles that was mentioned during the E3 confrence --- So what exactly is in the 4 Wii at the roundtable?despa1r_fact0r
Well since they haven't used the balance board yet it's most likely *takes a depressing deep breath* Shaun White Snow Boarding.

It's there to make the internet go mad with anticipation and then get disspointed... seriously.

Why do you keep posting negative posts? you dont know what its there for so stfu and wait.
JC comes up for a three-player jam on the original Super Mario Bros. theme. Miyamoto gets some laughs with the beat box character on melody. His "Whoo!" sounds just like Michael Jackson. Miyamoto asks us to notice how they don't have to watch the screen as they play. TAKE THAT, OTHER RHYTHM GAMES!
So basically you just wave the Wii remote around and maybe click the A or B buttons here and there while you listen to music? There gonna make us pay $50? If I really wanted to do that I would just grab my wiimote and turn on the stereo to save my money.

I thought Shaun White but thats owned by UbiSoft - I was thinking the balance board was for Wii Music --- They have mentioned Punch-Out a lot in the past few days

oh, im sure guitar hero and rockband are in a corner somewhere crying their eyes out because their players have to look at a screen to play it......

The announcement of Punch-Out!! would be a KO! (sorry, couldn't resist)
(Miyamoto thinks that half of an elementary school music class could be dvoted to this. Mothers can also jump in to the game easily. And those in between, we wonder?)
im not in elementry school and im not a mom.... i guess this game isnt for me....man i hate how casuals are ruining ninty for the cores....

Me too. I find it hilarious that people think Nintendo is going to announce the next big game at a small private press event.

I'd love to see a Punch-Out revival on the Wii but I hope you don't have to use the balance board to play it. Honestly I don't want to have to go out and buy Wii Fit just so I can play another game with the board.
Ok the balance board was used for wii music so what could the fourth game be? ms-fable
wii wait , im been playing it all day

You mean all gigantic surprises aren't revealed in places that have a maximum occupancy of 8 people?
:P

7:29 Someone has the temerity to ask if this is really more of a musical toy than a game. HOW DARE HE! Miyamoto says this is right, and "that's why it's more interesting than a video game." The audience laughs and applauds at this verbal b!tchslap.
BWAHAHA
- Nintendo isn't thinking about adding new music via WC24. They do respect the growing connection rate and use of WC24, but they are mainly concerned with the widest user base possible.
What does WC 24 have to do with user base?
It's like saying that the Wii isn't reaching the largest audience because you can't download VC titles everywhere.

7:31 Staff from Wave Race 64 are working on the waterskiing game from Wii Sports Resort. Yeguchi was the director of that game. The team is going to create a game that "surpasses Wave Race," according to Yeguchi. Miyamoto adds that it will "exceed Wave Race in depth." Bold words.
Why not just make a new Wave Race game!?!

Oh I see, so you think that this is stopping them from releasing a new Mario game every year?
Well now it's clear.
