[QUOTE="psychobrew"]Depends on the reason for the refusal, but seeing how they are owned by Activision, "we don't want to make it" wouldn't fly -- they would have to have a solid reason. What would happen if Nintendo asked Retro studios, Intelligent Systems, or EADto make a game for the Wii and they refused? Someone would get fired.AlexSaysSo Activision would fire their best team of developers because the refuse to waste their time porting their game to another console? This actually reminds me, why in the world would Activision want their best developers spending time butchering their work for the Wii when they could be doing much better things? Anyway, Infinity Ward could easily be picked up by another publisher. Some of you are making it seem like IW's entire existence depends on Activision. First off they wouldn't fire their best team, one even if they fired everyone they would still have the company, two they wouldn't fire everyone. if someone was being blatantly insubordinate they would fire that one person and the rest of the team would remain intact. One person does not make a team, especially with the basic foundation of the Call of Duty series set in stone. Like pyschobrew said the big point in this is if Activision says we want money from Wii owners Infinity Ward has to do it, they may not want to, they may not like it but thats business. If they continued to refuse something that boss says is good for business someone would get canned, however that may not be the case. Activision may say "Hey let these guys do what they they think is best" which could mean no Wii version. Personally whether they had a Wii version or not, it wouldn't mean anything to me. But your are simply just so against a Wii version, that you are grasping at straws to try and get the rest of the world to agree. Infinity Ward can voice their opinions and concerns, but in the end the decisions do not lay within the development team.
