But NoA used to be great and localize a lot of games that Europe never got. But since Reggie became President and COO of NoA he changed NoA.I am not surprised. This is NoA we are talking about.

Exactly! People demanding a game their not going to buy and then whine and moan "Oh Nintendo has abandoned the hardcore" If they just released these games, with none of this stuff being necessary, no one would buy them. Like I said in the first topic on this, these games would release to lackluster reviews, that's what always happens. Then everyone is too good for them, their too hardcore to sour their delicate palate with a game that got a mere 6.5. Where this who operation failed is the audience just blindly demanding all three games. Its not at all believable that all three of these games would be successful. Sepewrath
It also doesn't help that the North American markets ride on the success of mostly western titles, a lot of which are first person shooters. I don't really think a JRPG like Xenoblade would have much success in a North American market, sad to say. I'd also be willing to agree that a lot of people would simply pass on the game because of critical reception. We've seen this happen with other third party games, like Epic Mickey.
I really was looking forward to Xenoblade though to be honest. The Last Story looks ok to me and Pandora's Tower looks lackluster, so I definitely would buy either of those.

Custum Robo (GCN) only in Japan and North America. Mario Super Sluggers (Wii) only in Japan and North America, and Glory of Heracles (DS) That I can think of.
It seems like when the gamecube was not selling as well as ps2 nintendo was trying really hard to get first party games over seas. But now it's like they don't even care. I guess all the money went to their heads. hopefully ps vita gives 3ds near equal competition so both companies give it their all.
Its a shame the American fans won't get a chance to play the game (unless you import and Wii and then buy the game) to be honest I don't see NoA flinching with this one, more than likely going to stick to there guns and not release the games. Guess its just a good time to be a European Wii owner.
Keep pushing them. Keep pushing them. We will not stop!
If we can succeed here, we can do the same for Mother 3.

This is really disappointing. I was really hoping these games would get released here in NA, but to be honest I knew it wouldn't work. I wish Atlus or NIS would get a hold of these games and publish them, but that won't happen either. Thats why I love Atlus and NIS, they have the guts to localize games for a niche market while Nintendo refuses to release anything that doesn't cater to the masses and can generate ridiculous amounts of profit. In the end its for that reason why I will continue to support publishers like Atlus with my money, but I'm honestly giving up when it comes to Nintendo and I'm not gonna purchase a Wii U unless they change their ways, which they probably won't. Skyward Sword will be my last Ninty purchase and that will be a used purchase as well.
You guys all have to release that if Nintendo thought that these 3 games would not be total failures they would come. That fact is that us in teh forums are a very niche group that cannot make a game or in this case three profitable. Honestly guys how many of you would have bought all three this winter. Not many of you the compition is crazy
Xenoblade Music - Prologue A
Xenoblade Music - Prologue B
soooo goood!!! Ya I'm importing, no way I'm gonna miss this game because of NoA's bull****.
PAL version does have japanese voices with subtitles right?

How the heck is that going to help make this situation better? If most of the comments on NOA's facebook, twitter and youtube accounts are making fun of them fornot bring over these three games then ninty maydecide to never listen tothis vocal group ever again or they may never bring these games over in any form.
Wow aren't you just a peach of a person :|
People want some good games for their Wii, instead of just having crap like Wii Play, Conduit 2 and Mario Sports Mix for the entire year. Why so happy that they won't get these games? And yeah it is Nintendo's fault not releasing the game despite already being in English.
If this was a PS3 game, it'd be released everywhere more then likely, and if not, could be imported and played with 0 problems on any PS3, from any territory, cos that's how Sony rolls 8) It's only natural to be ****ed off at Ninty being stuck in the past.

Finding good wii games on the wii is not a problem, and it never was. Anyone can select mediocre titles and throwing out the several dozen good/great ones from a system, so that's not valid.
And it's NOT Nintendo's fault because the consumers would not buy these games. Advertise and Market all you want; none of these 3 would sell. The consumers don't want them. It is smart move of Nintendo from a business perspective not to ship them to North America because they wouldn't sell.
Oh, and why the crap would I care about what lesser company would do as opposed to Nintendo?
I disagree. Nintendo is not always sure what to expect from a title, as you can see Wii Music was endorsed in so many ways by Miyamoto and is not a success. Metroid Other M, despite being a great game, was also a commercial failure. Then you can see at games like NMH and Conduit, despite not being a commercial success they keep trying, with way lower budget than Nintendo Is a real shame for them not to take the chance when is such a drought period...You guys all have to release that if Nintendo thought that these 3 games would not be total failures they would come. Like I said in another thread in GGD, this whole movement probably isn't even worth it and I honestly doubt every single person participating it will actually pick up all three games requested.

We seem to be disagreeing a lot lately as is, and unfortunately, it looks like I'll be doing the same here. If I'm not mistaken, haven't Last Story and Xenoblade been getting pretty solid reviews where they've been released? If I'm right, who's to say that they won't receive similar reviews from the North America media as well? Sure, all review/reviewers are subject to their own means of subjectivity, but I don't think a great game stops becoming great when its localized... in most cases.
Second, have you SEEN the state of the Wii lately? It's not as if it has had a lot of games that have been selling that great to begin with. Even the 'biggest' *coughcough* games of the year, like Mario Sports Mix and Conduit 2 has come and gone with zero buzz whatsoever. If Nintendo has three games that are generating some significant level of passion at this stage in the Wii's life AND given the situation of the system's software support (or lack thereof), why NOT give them a shot, especially if the games really are quality titles? Even if not all three games would be classified as "successful" in ANY of the games become achieve mild success, it's better than not trying to release them, especially at a point where just having games around is crucial to a system's relevance.
To start with I wasn't really interested in this game.
But since you guys started these threads about the game not coming to NA I started looking into it a bit more, and a few days back I preordered it.
So the irony is that Nintendo's decision not to bring the game to NA, made them at least one more sale in Europe, all thanks to you!
[QUOTE="TheFallenDemon"]Well, looks like it's time to flood everything Nintendo with 1-star reviews on Amazon.BrunoBRSoh yeah, really mature, that's sure going to make them bring the games here. Who said anything about bringing the games over here?

Who said anything about bringing the games over here? Well, the amazon reviews are there to help people with their purchases. If you give a terrible review to a great Nintendo game like Super Mario Galaxy, you are not hurting Nintendo, you are hurting the potential costumers who will instead buy Just Dance 2.
yeah, but they didnt hesitate to give us wii music and mii party. irony at its finest. only games that rake in the sales i guess.....To be expected no guaranteed sales no bringing it to US ...unlucky :(

How do you know that these games would not sell? You do not know because they will never be released. It is funny how people tend to claim that these games will not make a profit, but no one knows how many copies of these games need to be sold in order for Nintendo to make its money back.
Except Nintendo, who surely have made calculations regarding this, and those calculations have told them that the risk outweigh the potential gain....no one knows how many copies of these games need to be sold in order for Nintendo to make its money back.

Start buying other games like these and encourage others to do the same, that's the only way to get these kind of games in the future.
And this new revelation has me even more fueled to bomb NoA's FB page and begin 3 letters for each game to begin operation downpour!

What are you going to acheive by bombing Ninty's facebook account with your pleas.Just give NOA awhile to reveal the reason there fans may be looking for about these three games being localized.

Yes! But it gets annoying whensome of the people in the comments are threateningNinty with dropping their support or are posting in any new non related localization of these gameswall posts ninty makes with talk about these games making it harder for their actually fans to respond to the wall posts ninty puts up.

By giving Nintendo games low scores you risk hurting their sales. If the games they do bring sell poorly the super niche games have an even smaller chance of coming
