[Pokemon B/W] Official Discussion Thread v1

If anyone wants to make movesets for their teams, here's a list of the TM's that they can all learn. Serebii's Pokedex has the level-up moves available as well.

As much as I love Denchura, his TM selection seems rather limited.

I was gonna say. o.O;

Competitively HP Ice would probably be a good fit. In game it doesn't matter too much. Maybe Charge beam so it could raise its special attack. Energy ball would be fine if you weren't worried about outcIassing Jaroda. :P

Compoundeyes raises accuracy by 30%. 70*1.3 = 91%. :D

Also keep in mind that unlike moves like Fire Blast, Hydro Pump and Blizzard, Thunder has 10PP. Not too shabby. :D

Ugh, the more I think about it, the more i'm realizing how useless Jaroda's gonna be on my team. I think I actually found a nice usable Grass type replacement incase I don't end up liking Jaroda that much.

She learns Energy Ball, Aromatherapy, Sleep Powder and Stun Spore via level up. Kinda reminds me of Roserade which I found quite helpful in Diamond.

All the Pokemons had a picture of Ditto just a moment ago.:P

I typically don't even use a Grass type.

It's just that Tsutarja/Jaroda looked so freakin' cool compared to the other starters this time.

Now that i've seen his available moves, it's a bit disappointing. :|

Maybe I should consider using Mijumaru/Daikenki. But that would mean re-planning my team again!

Aw well, I still have until Spring to decide! :P

That or just talk to her over and over. :P

No reason to call her if she's ALWAYS available during Spring/Summer. She might disappear during Fall/Winter.

Video Chat might be possible for gym leader rematches.

We're still waiting for more information while sites take down pictures, post PokeDex info and wait for their real copies to come from the mail. :)

damn the Cynthia fight was awesome but was the player cheating or something he keeped losing pokemon and always got them back at half health spirittomb and lucario were awesome looking all animated eggbenedict

Cynthia would have won if he didn't use Revives. I think it hints out that you'll be screwed if you're under leveled. :P

He only recorded the Top Screen. The move selection and items are in the bottom screen. :)

There's seems to be a lot of stuff to do even after you've beaten the E4 and met Zekrom/Reshiram and dealt with N and Team Plasma and whatever else there is. :P

I'm guessing people still haven't really gotten to the very "end" of the game yet to see everything?

EDIT: Also, does anyone know the levels of wild Pokemon/trainers after the E4? I'm hoping to see stuff in the 50s or maybe even 60s; especially since they've tweaked the EXP system a bit like I mentioned yesterday.

They confirmed that the new pokemon will not be related in any way to the older pokemon.

I might just have to use some of earlier Pokemon temporarily until I can access some of the one's I want for my final team. Especially with the new changes to the EXP system, it'll be a lot harder to just get by using just the starter Pokemon. At least the alligator is available earlier on! :D

also the dream world abilities are awesome! ninetales knowing drought, politoed knowing drizzle, blaziken knowing speed boost! there are going to be so many different strategies now.

Those are two of the three "genie" Legendary Pokemon. You know, the ones that look nearly the same but with different skins depending on type.

You need both of these two to unlock the third.

As for remebering the names, i've managed to know the names of the important and cooler Pokemon like Denchura and Daikenki and Jaroda and you get the idea. :P

I honestly think it's gonna take me a while to adapt to their English names.

I hate the Genie doods. They're seriously just reskins. Most uncool.

I hope I don't call them by their Japanese names when the dub hits. T'would be awkward. So mostly I only know my favorites, like Meguroko and Hihidaruma.
