And don't you notice how the majority of those great games are first party? I mean it's kinda bad when wii has only first party games (and a few 3rd party gems) going for it.

Like Sonick said, your list is based on your personal opinion! Try throwing up a list based on something CONCRETE like reviews, like Sonick suggessted, and you'll see how badly the wii fails in comparison to the game line-ups of other consoles this gen!
As a gamer you should be able to see that if the Wii had graphical power closer to the other consoles this gen that list would be like 5X longer since we would be getting a lot more third party support and multiplats like Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter 4, Bioshock, Mirrors Edge, GTA 4, Dead Space ect!
Thats great that you DON'T CARE about graphics, but guess what? A lack of graphical power can only HURT a system and CANNOT help it in the long run! Because of a lack of graphical power we miss out on A LOT OF GREAT 3rd party games and most of the 3rd party games we DO get have VERY LITTLE effort put into them and sometimes are even PS2 and PSP ports, yuck!

NO, you said that the Wii has a weak library of good games and I just gave proof that you're wrong. Red Steel got great scores in European sites, Fire Emblem was great but not perfect, Naruto got 8s and thats not poor, as for the ports, they got rated higher on the Wii because of motion-sensing. Shawn White is better on other consoles but still great on Wii.

Producers of Dead Space, Bioshock and Resident Evil 5 are definitely thinking of putting their games on Wii. GTA will have a wii-exclusive game. Where did those producers say that? And where did RockStar say that the wii is getting an exclusive GTA?
Regardless, you still can't deny, as a gamer, that the wii's lack of graphical power is only HURTING the system at this point with all the AMAZING games we are MISSING out on and all the crappy PS2 and PSP ports we are getting instead!
As for IGN reviews, go look at the other consoles and how many more higher rated games they have, that is what Sonick meant by "wii does factually (review wise anyway) have the weakest lineup of the 3".

well the ds has a gta exclusive so the wii is def getting one so there!!Honestly, Graphics to me are not mainly important. Not if you are looking for a graphically impressive game on the Wii, then you should look into Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2009. Seriously, that game looks waaayyyyy better (But gameplay isn't as fun, it is a fun game though) than Call of Duty: World At War and that's saying alot for a Cabela Game. I was looking for some videos to show you all but the video that I found was too dark. I'll post one if I can find it. Here's a Screenshot of it (It doesn't do it any justice though:
Here's a better Video of it with actual gameplay from Ign.

Regardless, it dosen't change the fact that the Wii missed out on GTA 5 which was an AMAZING game and recieved PERFECT scores from many critics including the site where on right now. So even if the Wii ever did get a GTA chances are it would not top 5 or even come close to it.

"So what if its not on par", so what?
So what happens is we MISS games! Thats what!!! Like Garrett said, we missed BurnOut this gen along with a TON of other great multiplat 3rd party games simply because the wii can't handle them graphically!
I don't know about you but missing out on great games like Resident Evil 5 is a pretty big deal to me, thats why I also own a 360 :)
Also on a side note, the only console I have had to send in for repairs this gen was the Wii. Apparently a bunch of the first shipments were faulty because mine had pixels all over the screen within a year, Ninty fixed it for free of couse however and admited that the first batch had some heating problems.

Enough info in this thread has been provided to show you that maybe, wii possibly doesn't have that good of a lineup and that it needs improving.
As a wii owner, even i see that the wii is in depserate need of some quality support. Thankfully, 2009 is a step up from 2008. Stuff like punch out, sin and punishement, fragile and little king's stories look promising.

THANK YOU. for pete's sake we barely have ANY 3rd party games that are either 1. not rehashes, or 2. any good. and i know, being the predictable people you are, you'll feed me some list of games that havent even been released again, claiming they will be the pinnacle of gaming and or graphical power. just face it already. the wii's lack of power is keeping us from getting the vital multiplats we need.Do you see me crying that GTA4 and others aren't on Wii? No, I'm happy with what I got Games like Bioshock and Deadspace are being considered on putting on Wii. I'd rather they didn't try bringing games like Bioshock or Resident Evil 5 to Wii. They are and will be great games but by trying to dumb down the game to the Wii would probably be disasterous as Dead Rising is looking to be. I'd rather they make games from the ground up for the Wii.

lmao dead rising keeps coming up it aint a serious relistic game is it? so why do graphics matter? iceldc
Graphics matter a lot in Dead Rising! One of the great gameplay experiences with that game is running through the mall with countless numbers of zombies following you! Now the wii can't process that many enemies on screen at once so they had to cut down the numbers of zombies which ruins one of the biggest gameplay aspects of Dead Rising!
Plus the zombies aren't as detailed in the wii version so they all kinda look similar and crappy which kills the atmosphere the original had!
erm and you use your old fashion pad for that and button bash do ya? and slow aiming?iceldc
pffffft, The controls for the original were PERFECT! Sure they might be better on the wii but if that means less zombies in the mall than FORGET THAT!
Thats like playing pikmin with only 2 or 3 pikmin on the screen at a time, its just not the same game!
SEE graphics do effect gameplay in a very serious way!

This man speaks the truth. Even if I strongly believe that the Wii is the best console this gen, you cannot deny the facts. A game like Dead Rising thrives off of killing hordes of zombies any way you can. If there are no hordes of zombies=point of game lost. The Wii just simply cannot pullthis off.

Horror games are the prime example. Would Dead Space be as terrifying as it is if it had N64 graphics? No. The number one point of the Horror Genre is to scare you and graphics greatly contribute to that.
Of course graphics aren't everything for a scare. RE 0, RE 1,2,and 3 proove that. RE 4 isn't scary and isn't a survival horror like the first ones. Did I just dissprove my own point?
[QUOTE="kenakuma"][QUOTE="iceldc"]erm and you use your old fashion pad for that and button bash do ya? and slow aiming?iceldc
pffffft, The controls for the original were PERFECT! Sure they might be better on the wii but if that means less zombies in the mall than FORGET THAT!
Thats like playing pikmin with only 2 or 3 pikmin on the screen at a time, its just not the same game!
SEE graphics do effect gameplay in a very serious way!
no graphics aint nothing to do with gameplay totally different"!!!!!!!!! look at tetris, and the old snes games that are still good to play now look at 64 games like goldeneye still people play it today.Awwwwwwwww your not LISTENING! Graphics DO effect gameplay!
The greatest feature of Dead Rising that set it apart from all the other zombie games is the countless numbers of zombies you had to kill! Here is a quote from gamespot's review:
"Where Resident Evil was a series all about horror, tension, and frequent jump scares, Dead Rising goes in the other direction, creating a pure action experience with zombies that are much easier to kill but travel in higher numbers--much higher numbers, actually, with groupings numbering in the hundreds."
^That is a "GAMEPLAY" feature! Do you understand that? Lots of zombies= fun gameplay!
Now since the wii's graphics aren't powerfull enough to render all those zombies you LOSE that gameplay feature! Thus the graphical capabilities ARE effecting the CENTRAL gameplay!
Like Pikminmaniac said, if you take away the hundreds of zombies than it isn't even Dead Rising anymore!

P.S. Thanks for that terrifying Pikmin image
its funny im 27 and played games most my life, ive never played pikmin before what do you do on it?It is a game so unique (it's made by Miyamoto) that I could not describe it to you in a single post.
Maybe this song and video will help you out: What is Pikmin
Well, the producers of Dead Rising are trying their very best to put a huge number of zombies in the game, and it will be 100+, and guess what...I'm buying it. You wanna talk about missing games? The ps3/360 are missing no more heroes/madworld and monster hunter 3Picesand tons more coming!

I DON'T want to talk about missing games because the list of multi-plats that the Wii HAS missed and is GOING to miss is INSANE!
Plus were talking about graphics and how they effect the wii and its games! Quite trying to go of topic every time you get cornered! And stop mentioning other consoles this isn't system wars! Stick to the topic of the wii's graphical limitations! You still haven't answered to all the counter posts we have thrown at you and when you do answer you go completely off-topic and make ZERO sense!

I've nary seen a single screenshot that shows more than a dozen or so zombies in Dead Rising. What honestly makes you think they will get over 100?
